Greetings, my friends.
When God gives you a dream or a calling, and it seems delayed, it can be discouraging. I have walked through seasons where I was certain God had spoken to me, only to face obstacles and moments of doubt when nothing seemed to move forward. Yet, I have seen God’s faithfulness time and again as I trusted Him through those delays. If you are feeling called by God in your life, leadership, family, or career, and discouragement is weighing on you, I want to encourage you today: God is still at work, and His promises remain true.
Together, let’s explore why delays come, how to stand strong in the face of resistance, and how you never have to walk through challenges alone. Through decades of experience, I have learned that prayer is not a last resort, but the very way we invite God to fight our battles and lead us forward. In leadership, it can be tempting to see people as the problem, but often the real battle is spiritual. The enemy seeks to sow disunity, fear, and doubt, but God equips us to overcome through His Word and Spirit.
Hebrews 6:11-12 offers us a powerful blueprint for Christian leadership and spiritual growth: continue to serve faithfully, hold fast to faith and patience, and you will receive what God has promised. I have seen in my own life that faith is trusting God even when you cannot see the outcome, and patience is holding on when progress seems slow. The promises of Scripture have anchored me through many setbacks. If you have not yet connected a specific Bible promise to your goal, I encourage you to seek one out, write it down, and let it shape your prayers and decisions. God’s Word will sustain you.
If you need encouragement to keep pressing on, I invite you to listen, share this message with someone who may be weary, and consider subscribing or leaving a review so others can be strengthened as well. What vision or promise are you trusting God to fulfill in your life today? I am praying that you will experience His faithfulness as you continue to walk by faith.

Welcome And Core Encouragement
TonyGreetings, my friends. Tony Williams here. Welcome to Cell D Summit Evergreen Leader Development Insights all around the world. God sees you wherever you are. He loves you unconditionally. And he has a vision that he wants you to accomplish. We've been talking this year about having a vision from God, setting bold goals that God helps you set, and having faith in the promise that God says, when I help you to set the goal, I will help you to accomplish it. The vision from God. God's message of encouragement to us today. Realizing the fulfillment of the vision. Realizing the fulfillment of the vision. God has helped you set a vision for your life. God has helped you set goals for your life and your vocation and your career, your family, all these elements of your life, God has helped you have a vision and goals that He wants you to trust and believe Him, the promises that He makes to you to fulfill. And so along the way, sometimes we get tempted to be discouraged. Why? Because we face obstacles. Sometimes there are delays in accomplishing the things that God helps us to set. Why do we face these delays? Because we have an enemy. The enemy is Satan, and he wants to prevent us from accomplishing and fulfilling the vision that God has given us. When we are aware that we have these resistances, we can then see the hindrances the way God sees them. So when you face a hindrance along the way, don't feel like you have to fight the battle. You allow God to fight the battle for you. How do you do that? You allow God to fight the battle by going to God in prayer. Prayer and claiming and proclaiming the promises of God that He's given you. Sometimes people seem to be obstacles in the way. But God has shown me over my life, now 70 plus years, that people are never the problem. It's always Satan behind the situation, creating disunity, disharmony, and strife. Strife can come in many forms. Sometimes people are envious of you. You have a vision and a goal from God, and God has given you clarity and skills and talents and abilities and gifts. And sometimes people are a little put off by that. But that's okay. People will be people, and God loves everybody. But for you who have put your faith and trust in God through Jesus Christ as your Savior and your Lord, God has said, I'm going to equip you, I'm going to engage and empower you to do everything I've called you to do. But we have to stay diligent. And this is what leads me to the next verse. It's found in Hebrews the 6th chapter, verse number 11. We want each of you to show the same diligence to the very end in order to make your hope sure. God says, I want you to remain diligent. Be diligent to do the things that God has called you to do. One step at a time. Sometimes the vision seems slow in coming to fruition, but persevere. Keep trusting God and taking one step at a time. And resist making any decisions along the way without first conferring with God, asking God to give you discernment, spiritual discernment to see the obstacles the way you see He sees them and to respond the way He wants you to respond. Diligence, diligence, perseverance, and patience. God says apply these as you go on your journey and you will not fail. One of the biggest challenges when the vision seems slow in appearing, when the task seems to be grand and somewhat impossible, is the temptation to allow discouragement and doubt to filter in. I was talking with a leader today and he said to me, I know that God is going to work it out for me. I am not afraid. And that's key. Do not let the devil discourage you with fear and doubt and unbelief. Do not speak negatively about the vision and the goals that God has helped you set. Believe, and his voice had life in it. His voice had confidence in his God, that God was going to help him achieve the goals that God had helped him set. That pleases God, and God always acts in behalf of those who trust him in faith and walk by faith and not by sight. That's the other thing. We have to walk by faith. God's given you a vision, my brother, my sister, wherever you are in the world. Believe him for it. How does he give you this confidence? He gives you the confidence through the promises you find in the scriptures. I pray that God has given you promises associated with every goal that He's helped you set. If you don't have a promise from God for every goal that He's helped you set, take time. Open the Scriptures and ask God, Father God, give me a promise associated with the vision and the goals that you've helped me set. Then meditate on those promises. Write them down. What I have done for every goal that God has asked me to set and the vision He's given me, I have promises from the Scriptures associated with those goals. Why? Because God never lies and He always fulfills His promises. So His promises are the anchors of our soul, our mind, our will, and our emotions when we face challenges, hindrances, and setbacks along the way. So God is saying today, realizing the fulfillment of the vision, realizing the fulfillment of the vision that God has given you. This is what we need to do. He says, We do not want you to become lazy, but imitate those through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. We tend to, I don't know if lazy is the best word, but we tend to become sluggish in our response to the challenges that we face. We tend to say, Well, nothing seems to be happening. I wonder if I'm making the right choice. When you have that kind of attitude, those thoughts come to your mind, immediately take them captive by saying, I believe you, Father God, that you've given me these goals and I know that you're going to make a way, and I put my faith and trust and confidence in you and you alone. You see, that bold declaration is similar to what the leader said earlier today. I believe God. I know God's going to come through. I am not fearful. See, that's how you want to speak towards your vision. That's how you want to speak when facing the challenges and obstacles. And always remember that people are not the enemy. It is Satan behind the scenes, stirring people up to try to be hindrances to what God has called you to do. You're going to face hindrances, my friend. You're going to face, you're going to face delays along the way. But hindrances and delays do not mean that you have not heard from God. They do not mean that you're not moving in the right direction. This is a time where you get silent and you be still and you know that He is God. You listen to Him. Just before I came to record this podcast, I had to get still. The day was busy. I had a lot of opportunities to do a lot of things, but then I had to get quiet and listen and ask God to show me. Father God, what is the message for today? And this is what God said to me. Be diligent. Be diligent to do what I've called you to do. And He said, so that you will through faith and patience inherit the promise. Faith is trusting, obeying, and relying totally upon God and His promises for the outcome. Faith is trusting, obeying, and relying totally upon God and His promises for the fulfillment of the outcome. That's faith. Patience is continuing to believe and continuing to go forward, trusting God, even though it doesn't appear to be making any progress. This is what God wants us to do. He said, be imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promise. Inherit means it's already there, it's already yours, and at the right time, God's going to bring it to pass. God is showing this to me, my friends, in so many ways, and he'll show this to you. He's probably done it before. Take time to reflect on former visions that God has given you, former goals that God has helped you set and accomplish. How did he do them? The process was similar. You had to have faith and patience and trust God. And he gave you exactly what you needed at just the right time for the breakthrough to the realization. The fulfillment of your vision. And that's what God is saying. Faith and patience. Don't be sluggish. Persevere. And you will accomplish and achieve and inherit the promises. Fulfill, the vision fulfilled, the realization of the fulfillment of a vision. Father God, we love you. We thank you. Thank you for encouraging us. You're always encouraging us. And I pray, my brothers and my sisters, everyone that listens to this will be encouraged to trust you, to fulfill the vision and the goals that you've helped them to set and to see it the way you see it and proclaim victory. I trust in God. I believe you, Father God, and I know that you're going to provide. You will never fail. In the name of Jesus, I pronounce this over my brothers and my sisters, their visions and goals all around the world. Share it with someone, my friend. Everybody needs encouragement from the Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen.
