"A Guarantee For Life and Career!"

A “guarantee” sounds comforting until you read the fine print. I open with a blunt question: what can any person truly guarantee in life and career without conditions attached? From there, I share the only guarantee I’ve found that doesn’t collapse under pressure, delays, or changing circumstances: the promises of God. 

We walk through what Scripture says about those promises and who they’re for. I connect our identity as children of God (John 1:12) to confidence and direction, then anchor the teaching in 2 Corinthians 1:20-22 where God’s promises in Jesus are yes and amen and the Holy Spirit is given as a guarantee in our hearts. I thank God for you, and I know God has a wonderful plan for your life. And this is what He's saying to me to share with you today. A guarantee for life and career. A guarantee for life and career. What can you guarantee? Who has the power and the ability and the authority to guarantee anything? A guarantee is this will happen without any conditions associated with it. Oh, I take that back. Have you ever had something that had a guarantee with it? Along with the guarantee were pages and pages of conditions that said this guarantee is nullified if these conditions prevail. So that's really not a guarantee. That's a maybe. But there is a guarantee that produces every time without any restrictions. And it's a guarantee that only God can provide. guarantee. Only God, and this is what he wanted to share with you. The promises of God are God's guarantee to us. The promises of God are God's guarantee to us. God has given us the Bible, my friends, as a way for us to understand how he operates, a way for us to discern the promises and how he wants to move through us and in our lives and those that we touch along our journey. We have to understand what the promises are. And the promises are for God's children. Remember when you said yes to Jesus Christ, you became a child of God. John, the first chapter, verse 12. God’s Promises As True Guarantees

believed on his name, to them he gave the right to become children of God. As a child of God, God has made all these magnificent promises for us. He says that He's given us everything we need for life and for godliness. Life and career. So a guarantee for life and career, God has provided. The guarantees are his promises. My friend, do you have a promise from God? Do you have promises from God that you're believing him? That God has spoken to you and said, This is what I'm going to do in your life. There are promises that God gives us that only God can bring to pass. And when God gives us a promise, it is a guarantee. When God gives you a promise, it is a guarantee. God promises. And listen, here it's found in 2 Corinthians the first chapter, verses 20 through 22. For all the promises of God in him, speaking of Jesus, are yes, and in him, amen. For what purpose? To the glory of God through us. You see, God wants to be glorified in your life, my friend. Wherever you are in the world, God wants you to find a promise that he wants just for you as you read the Bible. And as you receive that promise from God, you believe it, you receive it in your heart and in your spirit,

How To Activate Faith With Scripture

and you meditate on it day and night. You recite it aloud and you tell God, I believe this promise that you've given me, Father God. You see, when you activate your faith by speaking the promises of God, that word of God always accomplishes what he sends it to do. So here's how you practice that. If God has given you a promise, you receive that promise in prayer and you tell God, Father God, I believe that you've given me this promise, and I'm going to receive it now by faith. I believe it and I receive it now. When you pray that way to God, believe you receive the promise at that moment. It may take time, it may take months, days, years for the promise to come to pass. But that promise that God gives you is a seed of faith. The word has life in it. The word is a seed, and we plant that word in our hearts by believing it. Fertile hearts are hearts that believe and trust and rely totally upon God and His promises to us. That's a fertile heart. When we plant the fertile word of God, which is alive in a fertile heart, it's guaranteed to produce what God says it's going to do. So God says, I will do what I promise to do in your life. And who does this? It is God. It is God who does everything. It is the Holy Spirit of God living on the inside of us that enables us to understand the promises, that gives us the power to proclaim the promises, and enables us to persevere in confidence and assurance, supernaturally, until we receive what God has promised. And then he goes on to say in verse 22, who has also sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. God leaves nothing to chance for his children. And so, my friends, God is saying, My children, those who have placed their trust and faith in me through Jesus as their Savior and their Lord, I've given you great and magnificent promises. Claim

A Personal Testimony From 2012

the promises that I give you in the name of Jesus. Here is a promise that I claimed from God in August the 20th, 2012. I was just getting up this morning and I opened my Bible and I came across this passage. It was dated August the 20th, 2012. The conditions. I was just informed that I needed to find another assignment in my corporation. And I wondered, Lord, is this of you and what would you have me to do? And I came home and I meditated, and God led me to this passage of scripture, and he brought it back to my remembrance. And it's found in Psalm the 66th chapter, verse 19 through 20. But certainly God has heard me. Blessed be God who has not rejected my prayer, nor removed his mercy and loving kindness from being, as it always is with me. You see, my friends, God gave me that promise and he just reminded me, Tony, remember when you prayed that prayer to me in 2012? Yes, Lord, look where you are now. You see, my friends, this is a testimony that I want to share with you. God has done it. And this is what I wrote underneath it: God's peace, a wonderful city, God's favor, debt-free, protection, God's presence, new assignment, blessing, riches, no sorrow, fulfilling, more money. I wrote that underneath that promise. And guess what? He's fulfilled all of that as it is right now. And I give God all the glory. Remember, he fulfills his promise that we may give him glory. He's given me this opportunity to share with everyone around the world, this is what God did for me, and this is what God will do for you. Trust him. That's why God gives us the promise. So, my friends, whatever the situation is, God has a promise just for that situation, just for you, because he sees you, he loves you, and he is with you. He is inside

of you. Proclaim who you are in Christ and believe him. Believe him, believe him, believe him. Our work is to trust the Lord with all our heart, lean not to our own understanding, in all our ways acknowledge him so that he may make straight our path. When we trust, obey, and rely totally upon God and his promises, we're guaranteed God's success. That's the guarantee, my brothers and my sisters. Walk in it. Walk by faith today. We walk by faith and not by sight. And Father, I thank you for blessing us with your promises and your unconditional love and your faithfulness. You always keep your promises. We believe that you are who you say you are, and you will do what you say you will do. I pray this for my brothers and my sisters and all those who listen in Jesus' name. Amen.
