“Why do you worry? - Only Believe!!”

Jesus says, “Do not be afraid any longer; only believe!”

What is dominating your thinking right now? Is it a financial need you have?

Is it the circumstances of a loved one who desperately needs the grace and favor of God in their life?

Is it a worry or a fear about your health and whether God has healed you?

If anything causes you to focus your mind more on what Jesus is, who you are in Jesus, and the fact that His promises always come to pass, you are open to the attack of Satan to make you doubt, fear, and ultimately not believe the promises of God.

Any day that we do not feed our spirit with God’s promises from the Scriptures is a wasted day!

God created you with three parts: spirit, soul, and body.

Our spirit is one with Jesus, and He lives in us and builds us up in our spirit by the living Word of God.

We meditate on the promises of God to build our spirits, and from our spirit the benefits overflow to our soul; our mind, will, and emotions, and then to our body; made strong and healthy by the Word of God.

Do you want to be free from being afraid? Obey Jesus.  

Do what He says, for faith without works is dead.

Jesus says, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32

What was said to Jairus, He says to us today: “Do not be afraid any longer; only believe, and she will be made well.” 

Jesus took the dead girl by the hand and called, saying, “Child, arise!” Her spirit returned, and she got up immediately; then He gave orders for something to be given her to eat.” Luke 8:54-55

Place your circumstance into the promise of Jesus now. And watch Him work!

Why Do You Worry?

Greetings, my friends. Tony Williams here. Jesus says to you, Why do you worry, only believe? This morning in my quiet time, God spoke so clearly to me. I needed to hear a word from God, and I know God wants this message to come to you. Why do you worry, only believe? God wants us to be worry free and only believe for all the promises and the good things he has in store for us. What is dominating your thinking right now? What do you worry about? What are you anxious about? Whatever dominates your thinking will impact what you believe. Are you believing the promises of God? Is your mind focused and fixed on God and who he is and what he's done for you and what he's promised to do? If that's the case, you have all the power flowing to you through you for all the promises that God has made. On the other hand, if you allow Satan to come in and put a seed of worry, a seed of fear, a seed of doubt, then he is blocking the blessings that God wants to flow through to you supernaturally.

A Flower And The Lilies

And this is what God was saying to me this morning. Tony, do not fear any longer, only believe. And he gave me that message through a flower that was on my kitchen table. I was sitting there meditating on the word of God, thanking God, and just rejoicing in who God is. And God knows the condition of your heart. And he knew that something was bothering me. And he told me, Tony, look at this flower. And I looked at this beautiful flower. By the way, it's the thumbnail for this podcast. Take a look at it. It's a beautiful flower. The intricacies of this flower are amazing. And God focused my attention on this flower, this bouquet of flowers. And he said, Consider the lilies of the field, Tony. Look how I clothed them. They don't work, they don't toil, they don't spin, they don't worry, but look at the beauty that I've given them. Are you not much more than a flower? Will I not do the same for you? And with that revelation, that reminder that the Lord gave me this morning, everything was like a starburst effect inside of me. He said, Will I not also give you these things that I promised? He also said, If you then being evil know how to give good things to your children, how much more am I going to give for you? Do not worry and do not fear.

Jairus Hears The Worst News

And then he took me over to this account of Jairus, and I'm going to review it with you today. It's found in Luke the 8th chapter, verse number 50. Here's the situation. Jairus comes to Jesus. He falls at his feet and he says, Oh Lord, please come heal my daughter, my only daughter. She is near death. Come lay your hands on her so she can be well. Jesus then begins to go with Jarus. As he's going, a lot of things are going on, but let's just focus on Jairus. As he's going, one of Jared's servants comes and says, Don't bother the teacher any longer. Your daughter is dead. Think about that. Jesus responded to those words. He said to Jarus, this is what he said, in Luke the 8th chapter, verse 50. But when Jesus heard this, he answered him, Do not be afraid any longer, only believe. She will be made well. This is what Jesus said. This is what he's saying to you, my brothers. This is what he's saying to you, my sisters, all those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, all those that he's given you a promise that you're holding on to, that you're standing on, he's saying to you. But when Jesus heard this, he answered him, Do not be afraid any longer, only believe, and she will be made well. This man's daughter was dead. He had heard the most terrible news anyone can hear. But Jesus, when he heard those words, Jesus spoke. Oh, glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. When Jesus speaks, that cancels out everything. His word is over everything, all power in Jesus' name. So when Jesus has given you a promise, my friend, oh, thank you, Jesus. When Jesus has given you a promise, he wants you to cling to that promise and your faith and trust completely in him. This is why Jesus is saying to you right now, my brother. This is why Jesus is saying to you and to me right now, do not be afraid any longer. See, Jesus knows where you are, Jesus knows your heart. Jesus knows that Satan wants to torment you with fear. And God has not given you a spirit of fear, but a power, love, and sound mind. Jesus says, I want you, my child, to be afraid no longer. This is what I want you to do. Only believe. Only believe, only believe. Believing is trusting, relying totally upon God. Believing is trusting, relying totally upon God to come through for you. No other situation, no other circumstance, no person, Jesus alone is going to come through for you. Has he come through for you in the past? Think about it. Think about what Jesus has done for you already. But even if he hasn't done anything from you that comes to your mind, look at what he says in the word. The word is given for our encouragement, for perseverance, for endurance. That's why God gives us the word, and that's why he brought to me Jairus. And this is what he spoke to my heart, and he says, pass it on today. Oh, glory to God. And I know right now, if you listen to this message, say, Jesus, speak to my heart. Holy Spirit in me, speak to me, because I want to do exactly what you've commanded. Do not be afraid any longer. Say it for yourself. In the name of Jesus, I will not be afraid any longer. I will only believe you, Jesus, and I trust and I rest in you. Whoo, that declaration. You see, Jesus declared when he heard the statement that the daughter was dead, he said, No, fear not any longer. He knew this man's heart was filled with fear. He was anxious about his daughter. What are you anxious about? Are you anxious about a promotion? Are you anxious about a sales opportunity? Are you anxious about a loved one that needs desperately the grace and mercy and favor of God? Are you anxious about a financial situation? Are you anxious about your health? Jesus says, Stop worrying, only believe. God has given you promises, my brothers and my sisters. God says, I want you to focus on my promise and my faith and my trust in you. Put your faith in God and only believe. Then Jesus walks with Jairus to Jairus' home. I was only thinking

How Fear Turns Into Unbelief

this morning, what was that conversation like? Jesus is walking with Jairus. Jairus has heard the news that his daughter is dead. Jesus has spoken to him. Do not be afraid any longer. In other words, Jesus was saying, Jairus, stop fearing. Why does Jesus tell us to stop fearing? Because fear leads to doubt, and doubt leads to unbelief. And those three things working in tandem from the devil block the flow of power and love and the promises of God coming to fruition in your life. So, my brothers, what's dominating your thinking? What's dominating your focus? Get your focus fixed on Jesus. How do you do that? You get into God's word. My brothers and my sisters, I love you, and I say this because the Holy Spirit prompts me to say it. Any day that you spend without opening God's word and having a conversation with God is a wasted day. You are open to every temptation, every fear, every anxiety that's on the planet. But when you keep your focus on God, and the only way you do that, you have to feed on God's word. You are spirit, soul, and body in that order. So your spirit has to commune with the living God. Your spirit has to feed from the word of God, the promises of God, to strengthen you. And from that spirit filling and strengthening of your spirit, the Holy Spirit in you, strengthening your spirit, it overflows to your soul, your mind, your will, and your emotion, and it drives out fear. It drives out anxiety and it drives out worry. And then the manifestation comes to pass in a healthy, joyful, fruitful body. And the circumstances radiated from that are affected by the joy of the Lord being your strength. This is how God wants us to operate, brothers and sisters, not in fear, but in faith, believing. And so he told Jairus to only believe. And this is what he's saying to you and to me. What promise have I given you? Look at my past performance. Look at the flowers and the lilies of the field. Look what I do for them. Are you not much more than they? Think about it. That's what God was saying to me. And you know, I said, Lord Jesus, I repent. I turn away. Forgive me for even fearing, even doubting, or even worrying about anything. And this is what God is saying to you, my brothers and my sisters. If you're fearful, worried, anxious, repent. Say, Lord Jesus, I'm sorry. Lord Jesus, I'm going to believe what you've said, and I'm going to see you work. Here's what happened

Repent, Refocus, And Receive Peace

in the story. Read it for yourself. Meditate on it. He goes to Jared's house. He puts out all the unbelievers. And he only takes in three of his disciples and the mother and the father of the daughter that's dead. Jesus touches the girl and she comes to life. And Jesus says, Give them, give her something to eat. You see, my friends, the promise that God has given you is guaranteed. The only thing that blocks the flow and the power and the promises of God coming to fruition, fear, doubt, and unbelief. This is why Jesus is saying to you, my brother, this is why Jesus is saying to you, my sister, whatever that circumstance is that the devil tempts you to worry or be anxious about, Jesus says to you, listen to what he says. But when Jesus heard this, he answered him, do not be afraid any longer. Any longer. Do not be afraid. Only, only believe. And she will be made well. And your promise that God has given you will come to fruition. It's guaranteed. Only

Prayer For Faith Over Fear

believe. And Father God, I pray for my brothers and my sisters. I pray for every soul out there that is being attacked by fear, worry, and doubt. I bind this devil in the name of Jesus and I speak life, encouragement, perseverance to keep walking with you in faith, just as Jairus did on the way to his house, when you said, I'm going to make your daughter well. It hadn't happened. It already had happened when Jesus spoke it. When Jesus spoke the promise, when you spoke the promise to us, Lord, it already happened. On the way you walk with us, you kept us in perfect peace because our mind was stayed on you. And when we got to Jairus' house, when we get to the point where the fruition of our faith, our believing you comes to pass, we give you all the glory and praise and honor. Seal this to our spirits that we can share it. Move it all around the world, Father God, because you want your your children walking in freedom, only believing in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
