Greetings, my brothers and sisters. Tony Williams here. Welcome to CELD, Summit Evergreen, Leader Development Insights. Thank you so much for tuning in. We discuss biblical insights for life and career. And God gave me this message that He wanted me to share today. Here is the title: Receiving God's Guidance in Life and Career.

A God Centered Vision For Life

Receiving God's Guidance in Life and Career. God wants to guide you, my brother and my sister, throughout your life and your career journey. And it starts with having a vision from God. And how does God fulfill the vision apart from providing the guidance that we need step by step, moment by moment, day by day? How does he do that? It occurred to me in 1998, God gave me a vision. And since that point in time, I have been walking with God and seeing God bring to fulfillment the vision he gave me in 1998. Over the years, the vision has manifested into even greater things that God says he wants to accomplish in and through me to build his kingdom, to bless me, and to be a blessing to others. This is exactly what God wants to do for all of his children wherever you are on the face of the planet. God wants you to have a vision. And I want to share with you three things that God spoke to my heart today regarding how do we receive guidance in the fulfillment of that vision. First, let me share with you what the vision consists of. The vision consists of having God in the center of your life, Jesus Christ as your center. And from there we go out to the spiritual dimension, our vocational dimension, our family dimension, and even our social and recreation dimension. God wants us to have a vision for all of these areas of our lives. And as we spend time with Him, He will give us the vision. So in 1998, God gave me my first vision of what He wanted to do in these areas. And in 1998, He gave me a scripture, and this is what I want to share with you, because this is how we receive God's guidance in life and career.

John 16:13 And Spirit Led Guidance

It's found in John the 16th chapter, verse 13. But when he, the Spirit of Truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own, he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. I wrote in my Bible, Amen, 1221, 1998. So since that point forward, my brothers and my sisters, God has been leading me on this fantastic quest, and I've been seeing his faithfulness. And this is what God wants to do with you, and you're probably experiencing it also. So be encouraged.

Faith For A Vision That Feels Impossible

Here are three things that God wants us to remember. Number one is faith. The Bible says in Hebrews 11, verse 6, and without faith it is impossible to please God. And anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. How does God reward those who diligently seek him? And then he gives us the guidance and the power to accomplish and experience that vision. That's the reward. Most likely, your vision is so grand that God has given you that it seems impossible, apart from the supernatural working of God, to accomplish it. And that's exactly right. You see, God doesn't give us that minuscule vision that we can just stumble in and accomplish. God gives us grand and magnificent and supernatural vision. So if your vision is expanded and enlarged and God is encouraging you to believe Him for more, most likely you can be assured that that vision is from God. So think about it. How do you receive the guidance from God? The Holy Spirit, who is God, comes to live on the inside of us. And what does he do? He empowers us to accomplish and to see things the way God sees them. We have the mind of Christ through his Holy Spirit living on the inside of us. Think about that. He comes to live on the inside of you and me. Do you have a decision that you need to make? Do you need guidance from God, my brother and my sister? The Holy Spirit within you will give you the guidance. I can testify that from 1998, all along the way, God has been there providing guidance and insight and help and power for me to accomplish the vision that He gave me. And I believe all around the world there are others out there who can say the same thing. God is encouraging us today that He's not finished. The best is yet to be. So whatever your age and wherever you are, make sure that you have a vision from God. Don't drift through life. God says, My people perish for lack of vision. My people lack discipline for lack of vision. Vision is essential with God.

Trusting God For The Next Step

So vision, faith, and now trust. What does trust look like? First, trust says, I believe you, Father God, that you are who you say you are, and that you will do what you promise to do in your Bible. Trust. And then he says, this comes to me. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Don't lean to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your path. This is what God has been continually sharing with me, and I share it with you. I have to continually trust God to lead me and guide me. He's doing it supernaturally. He sees everything. He knows everything and he has all power. He simply wants me to trust him. When he tells me to take a step, I take the step. When he tells me to go this place, I go there. When he tells me to wait, I wait. This is what trusted in God is all about, because God is making the way for us and he's providing everything we need at just the right time. So trust is

Obedience That Turns Direction Into Action

essential. And then obedience. What is obedience? Obedience is simply doing what God tells you what to do and when he tells you to do it, and how he tells you to do it. Those are essential things in seeing the fulfillment of the vision of God for your life. So let's go back to where we started. How do we receive guidance from God? We receive guidance from his Holy Spirit who lives on the inside of you and me. Think about this. God, in all of his fullness, when you said, Yes, Jesus, I want you to be my Savior and my Lord, His Holy Spirit comes to live on the inside of you. Oh, listen to what the Lord is saying. Listen to what God is telling you. He's saying, Trust me with all your heart. Don't lean to your own understanding. In all, A L L your ways, acknowledge me and I will make straight your path. All those dimensions, your spiritual, your vocation, your family, and your social and recreation. God says, Acknowledge me in all those ways, all those areas, and I will make straight your path. And when we do it that way, this is what I've observed. God's best awaits for us. God's best is awaiting those who do it God's way. And so, my friends, wherever you are, you need guidance today? I know you do. That's why God gave us this message. God gives us guidance through the Holy Spirit who lives on the inside of us. He doesn't yell. The Holy Spirit is the quiet

The Quiet Voice And Writing Vision Down

voice of God that He's given to each person that has said, Yes, Jesus, I want you to be my Savior and my Lord. Listen to what he says. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, you want truth in your life. He will guide you into all truth in every area of your life. He will not speak on his own. He will speak only what he hears. The Holy Spirit listens to God the Father and He speaks from within you. This is the way. Walk ye in it. Then He will tell you what is to come. That's the vision. God will give you a vision of what is to come when you sit down and take the time to listen and put on paper the vision that God gives you. From 1998, I'm looking at it now. I'm touching it now. I have pictures that represent the goals that God gave me in 1998. And I have a version two that God gave me in 2026. And I'm following that vision. And I am here to testify. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than all we can ask or imagine, according to his power that's at work

Prayer For Guidance And God’s Best

within us. Father God, you're wonderful. Lord Jesus, you're wonderful. Holy Spirit, you're wonderful. And your spirit, Father God, lives on the inside of all of us who've said, Yes, Jesus, I want you to be my Savior and my Lord. Use this message, I pray, Holy Spirit, to provide guidance, to encourage all my brothers and my sisters, whenever and wherever they listen to this, to pause, to look at John the 16th chapter, verse 13, and ask you to give them guidance for their life. And whatever it may be, their spiritual life, their vocational life, their family life, their social and recreation life. You have a plan for all of those things. And your plan always includes your very best. God, we love you. Abba Father, we love you. And in the name of Jesus, we receive what you've already given us, the fulfillment of our visions.
