Dr. Tina Schermer Sellers

Dr. Tina Schermer Sellers is a licensed sex and gender feminist psychotherapist, professor, author, and public speaker specializing in the impact of sexual shame, religious sexual trauma, and attachment theory. She is known for advocating for sexual health and spiritual abundance, particularly within the context of Christian upbringings and conservative church environments.

She has authored two bestselling books, including Sex, God, and the Conservative Church and Shameless Parenting, a guide focused on raising children without shame. Dr. Sellers is also the Medical Director of the Northwest Institute on Intimacy, where she trains other professionals in sexual health, and her work sometimes involves psychedelic-assisted therapy for religious sexual trauma.
