In this episode, I sit down with one of my favorite humans on the planet, Halle Becker. We met 10 years ago when she was one of the original SoulCycle instructors and I was looking for someone connected to adoption to lead a fundraiser ride. What I found was a lifelong friend.
Halle launched a corporate production company at 23, ran it for 30 years including a two-year stint producing events for Oprah Winfrey, became an OG SoulCycle instructor, and has spent over 20 years leading healing retreats for women around the world. She is also a mom by adoption, her daughter Maya was adopted from Siberia, Russia, and just started her career at UBS after graduating from Syracuse with honors. We talk about the duct-tape plane to Siberia, the ugliest flammable pink dress ever seen, the judge who sang New York New York, asking for help without shame, and why the magic is always in the mess.
