Hey, welcome, welcome, welcome to a conversation of hope. I really hope you're having a great week so far and it's going really good for you. I have an exciting full episode lined up for you today. But before we get into the episode, I want to remind you, yes, you, as always, you are enough. You have what it takes, and your absolute best days are straight ahead. I'm serious. It's true. I want to give a quick shout out to my bride and lady of love, Shali. She is the executive producer of this podcast. And without her, this would only be a dream of mine and not a reality. Thank you, sweets, for being you. I love you endlessly. And our best days are straight ahead. All right, y'all. Today I'm writing this episode from Breckenridge, Colorado. I'm on a personal retreat to reflect, recharge, and refocus. I like to get away every once in a while to ensure I am focused on the right things. For me, that will be God, family, health, business, podcast. I want to ensure I am showing up with excellence in every area of my life. I always want to show up as the best version of myself to everyone in my life. I always want people's lives to be better off once they have interacted with me. There are always things I can do better, and that is what I focus on when I do the personal retreats. So I go through everything and the things that I need to work on, that's what I focus on. Please consider getting away from your normal life for a few days and go through the true priorities in your life and ensure your actions are aligned with your goals. It's just so powerful, you all. All right. Here we go. This week, we are focused on the power of passion, hope, and a positive outlook. With all the day-to-day things that come at us, it can be very easy to lose our passion, our hope, which in turn affects our outlook on life. Before we get into it, I want to remind you of a few things. Number one, if you have lost hope, please don't give up. We need you, people need you, don't give up. If life is hitting you hard right now, I want you to know this is not how your story ends. Better days are straight ahead. It is not an accident that you're listening to this today. Hats off to you for seeking hope. Always remember, your input will determine your output. Putting the good into your mind continually will change your outlook. Great move on your part. Let's dive right into today's content. Alright, y'all. There's something incredible that happens when passion, hope, and a positive outlook come together in a person's life. It's like lighting a fire that refuses to go out. We all want that, don't we? It doesn't matter how dark things get, that fire keeps burning. And the truth is, every great life, every meaningful achievement, every breakthrough you admire started with these three things passion, hope, and a decision to see life through a positive lens. Let's start with passion. Passion is what wakes you up when you don't feel like getting up. It's what keeps you going when things get hard. Passion isn't just excitement, it's commitment. It's saying this matters to me so much that I am willing to show up even when it's inconvenient. Most people are waiting to feel passionate before they act. But the secret, passion often grows because you act. You don't wait for the fire, you strike the match. When you lean into what matters to you, your purpose, your calling, your gifts, you begin to feel alive in a different way. Energy shows up, focus sharpens. You stop drifting and you start moving with intention. Now let's talk about hope. Hope is powerful. It's more than wishful thinking. It's belief. It's the quiet voice that says things can get better, and I can be part of that change. Hope is what carries people through the hardest seasons of life. When circumstances say give up, hope whispers, try one more time. And sometimes that's all you need. Just one more step, one more effort, one more day of refusing to quit. Hope gives you resilience. It gives you vision beyond your current situation. It reminds you that where you are right now is not where you have to stay. And then there's your outlook, your perspective. Two people can face the exact same situation and walk away with completely different lives. That's so powerful, y'all. Let me read that one more time. Two people can face the exact same situation and walk away with completely different lives. Why? Because of how they see it. A positive outlook doesn't mean you ignore challenges. It means you choose how you respond to them. It means you look at obstacles and you say, This is an opportunity to grow. It means when something doesn't go your way, you don't label it as a failure, you call it feedback. It means you train your mind to look for possibilities instead of limitations. And here's the truth your life will move in the direction of your strongest thoughts. If you constantly expect things to go wrong, you'll hesitate, you'll hold back, and you'll miss opportunities. But when you expect things to work out, when you believe that something good is ahead, you show up differently. You take action, you stay open, you keep moving forward. Now imagine combining all three passion that drives you, hope that sustains you, and a positive outlook that guides you. That combination is unstoppable, y'all. Because when you're passionate, you don't give up easily. When you have hope, you don't stay down for long. And when your outlook is positive, you don't get stuck in negativity. You keep looking forward. Let me tell you something important. Your best life and mine isn't something that we just stumble into. It's something we build one thought, one decision, and one action at a time. It's built when we decide to believe in something bigger than your current reality. It's built when we choose to see possibility even when it's not obvious. And it's built when we refuse to let temporary setbacks define us and our future. There will always be days when passion feels low. There will always be moments when hope feels distant. There will be situations that challenge your outlook. But those are the moments that matter the most because that's when you get to decide who you're gonna be. Will you give in to doubt or will you rise with belief? Will you focus on what's missing or appreciate what's possible? Will you wait for change or become the one who creates it? Your best life is not reserved for someone else. It's not about luck or perfect timing, it's about alignment. Aligning your passion with your purpose, your hope with your future, and your mindset with growth. So starting today, choose to lean in. Lean into what excites you. Lean into what gives you purpose. Lean into the belief that your future can be better than your past. Guard your mindset, feed it with positivity. Surround yourself with people who lift you up, not tear you down. Speak life over yourself and others. Your words matter. What you say about your life will literally shape your life. And most importantly, take action because passion without action fades. Hope without action stalls, and positivity without action becomes just a good idea. But when you act, when you step forward, even imperfectly, you create momentum, and momentum changes everything. So don't wait for the perfect moment. Don't wait until you feel ready. Don't wait until everything makes sense. Start now. Start where you are, start with what you have. Because the life that you want is built by the choices that you make today. And when passion, hope, and a positive outlook lead the way, there is absolutely no limit to what you and I can become. Let's do it, y'all. That is some good stuff. So when we apply it, our lives will absolutely change for the better. I know that we will. That's why we're here. All right, buckle up, y'all, as we head into the laugh zone. All right, here we go. Did you hear about the restaurant on the moon? Has great food, but no atmosphere. I'll tell you what, everyone. I am really afraid for the calendar. I'm afraid for the calendar. Because its days are numbered. Story time. All right, we got two great stories lined out for you again. Uh just inspirational stories about what's going on good in the world. There's a lot of stuff that comes at us that's negative, but I always want to bring in the good for you every week because you deserve it. All right, here we go. Twelve-year-old girl is named a hero for running into a burning home to save her brothers. A Georgia preteen saved her older brothers from potentially perishing in a fire that consumed the left side of their family's two-story home. She's been hailed by the family and the community as a hero who saved the most important things that the family has, and that's each other. The Johnson family of six had only moved into the house a few months before the fire started last Monday in the garage. As it raged across the ground floor, Macy arrived home on the school bus and saw the fire. She began screaming that the house was on fire and ran into the house. My oldest son was preparing to go to work. He was in the shower and had no idea until she started screaming, said Macy's mom, who said the second oldest son was just asleep in his room over the garage. She's an incredible girl, and I am very proud of her, said the mom. Firefighters from Richmond Hill and Bryant County arrived quickly and stopped the fire before it consumed the entire house. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Hard as it is to know that we've almost lost everything that we have and all of those great memories, a lot of good things. The mom said we still have each other and we have God. And I have faith in him, and there's a reason for everything, she said. Wow. So thankful that girl reacted. Think about that. Her brothers, one was asleep, one was in the shower, neither of them would have ever even known what was going on if she wouldn't have gone in there screaming and alerting everyone to what was happening. So good stuff. Like her, we always will show up for people when they need it. Um, that's what we do. Golden rule. We are a community of people that make a difference. All right, y'all. So, talking about making a difference, it's the little acts of kindness that we do every day that changes people's lives. And as we talk about all the time, life is an echo. You get back what you send out. We always put out the good, never expecting anything from it, because that's just the best way to live. We don't do nice things to get something in return. We do it just because that's the right thing to do. But I'll tell you what, on this next story, it paid off tremendously for this guy to do the right thing. And he just did it because that's who he was. But let's check this out. All right, get ready. Because when you hear this, you're gonna be like, What? I was so aging pizza delivery driver gets a $100,000 tip after conscientious effort goes viral. Wow. Remember, we always do things to be nice, but life is an echo. You're gonna get back what you send out. On the last day in March, that the conscientious efforts of a 70-year-old delivery driver left an Idaho man so taken back, he raised $24,000 on GoFundMe for the employee who told him he was mere weeks away from retirement. Well, the nation has clearly concurred that Dan, the Domino's delivery man, deserves a decent retirement and it sent the GoFundMe fund to the moon, having surpassed $129,000 at the time of this story. Hi everyone. First off, thank you so much for your incredible donations to Dan, wrote Brian Wilson, who ordered the pizza that Dan delivered. We've had several opportunities to chat with him about the fundraiser and he's blown away. Dan is such a humble guy and incredibly appreciative of your contributions. The story began in late March when Wilson ordered a pizza and a Diet Coke for delivery, but was called by the store later to explain that they had no Diet Coke and the driver had already left. He didn't think much of it because he didn't know that Dan had stopped at a nearby store to pick up the soda, especially for him. An extra mile that took about three minutes, Dan later admitted. Wilson was shocked when Dan explained it all to him at his door and wanted to tip him more at the time, but had no cash on him. So he started a GoFundMe Fun, and the whole nation responded. We were honestly blown away. That level of care and kindness is rare these days, Wilson wrote. Let's show Dan that his kindness didn't go unnoticed. Let's help him step into retirement, feeling appreciated and supported and celebrated. Wilson sent a letter to the store with $50 cash while also sharing the ring camera video interaction on TikTok to see if anyone else would like to give Dan a tip. Just a few days later, that GoFundMe Fund received more than 1,600 donations totaling over $23,000. In an update to the story, local news sat down with Dan while he recounted the events. He remembered going into work the next day and his coworker saying, You're famous, dude. I've always tried to work hard and go the extra mile, he said. And I guess maybe I'm getting rewarded for that. When it was all said and done, over $129,000 were given to Dan. What an awesome, awesome guy. And remember, I know I keep saying, but it's so true. Life is an echo. You get back what you send out. Never do we do it to get anything back. But it's always just a great way to live. Just be nice and do those things. How cool was it for him to hear, hey, there's no Diet Coke, but thinking about the guy that's going to get that pizza with Diet Coke and be sad and disappointed. So he stops at a local store, gets the Diet Coke. Took him minutes to do it, but it was a huge act of kindness for the guy that was getting it. All right, y'all. It's time for me to recap. I'm like you. I love listening to podcasts, always trying to get better. And I realize that my input will determine my output. So I gotta keep the positive coming in. So I'm gonna recap my top three podcast episodes I listened to this week. Number one, Steve Harvey. Twitting is guaranteed failure. Steve Harvey said he's had a lot of ups and downs in his life, like most of us. And he says if you quit, whatever you're trying to accomplish will never happen. All possibilities of your dream happening die when you quit. Quitting is guaranteed failure. Even when you try, you might fail at times, but please don't ever quit, he says. Make sure your dreams, aspiration, and goals are so big that not accomplishing them is not an option. It's flat out, just not an option to quit. You have to want something so much that it wakes you up in the middle of the night. You should be thinking about it all the time. And it makes actions to show that you do things that you would not normally do. If you want to be extraordinary and not ordinary, you have to do the extra. If you don't want to do the extra, you'll be regular. And Steve says there is nothing wrong with being regular. A lot of people are happy being regular. But if something in you is burning and you want an exceptional life, you will need to do the extra. Pay the price on the front end to achieve your best life. Live out your best life ever. You deserve it. You get one run, he says. Make the most of it. Dream and believe big. Condition your mind for excellence. Being successful is a mental condition, he says. I could not believe I could not agree with him more on that. 99% mental. Alright, y'all. Number two. Lou Holtz. He was a great football coach for Notre Dame for many years, won lots of championships. He says you can do anything in the world if you're willing to pay the price. So Lou starts out by saying we control our own future. We have to be self-starters. Take the first step to achieving your goals and dreams. It's not a disgrace to get discouraged. He says we all get discouraged from time to time. It's just not good to stay down when we are discouraged. He says, keep moving forward. We all get knocked down. But the true champions won't stay down. They always get back up. That's you and me. If you wait every day for someone else to motivate you and get you fired up, that most likely won't happen. Have a great daily routine with great daily habits. That guarantees a great start to your day each and every day. You have to make things happen for you and your family. Always put your best into every day to achieve the results and goals that you want. If you can't live with failure, you will have to find a way to be successful at whatever you do and whatever you put your hands to do. You can have everything in life you want if you just help enough other people get what they want. Lou Holtz said he heard that and he said. Seminar that he attended for Zig Ziglar, and he said that statement changed his life. You can have everything in life you want if you just help enough other people get what they want. Always live a life to help others get what they want, he says. Always think of what others want and help them get it. You have to know where you want to go with quality goal setting. Link to that full episode and the one before is always going to be in the show notes for you so that you can listen to the full episodes. They're fabulous. Alright, last one up, number three. You are at risk of being wildly successful, says Zig Ziggler. A lot of times things happen in life and we have no control over them. Do we respond to those situations or do we react? Responding is positive, but reacting is negative. Success demands change and creativity. A lot of people resist change. Motivation plus information equals inspiration. Motivation is the spark that lights the fire of knowledge. Never stop growing and learning. Always try to get better each and every day that you live. Make time to just be quiet and think about new ideas and information to help achieve your dreams. Take a walk with not no distractions, and that way you can just allow your mind to think about new ideas. Being optimistic, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented will change the trajectory of your life. An I can't mindset leads to excuses, fear, and inaction. An I can mindset leads to possibility, creativity, and action. You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start if you're gonna be great. Where there is hope, there is power, says Zig. You don't always get what you want, you get what you believe that you deserve. Your attitude, not your aptitude, determines your altitude. Once again, link to full episode is in the show notes. Alright y'all, challenge of the week. This week, let's all ensure we have that passion and hope that drives a positive outlook. Let's evaluate where we are. And if we need to make some changes to fuel our hope and passion, let's do it. The coolest thing in life is that there's no one that can decide for us if we can make changes to better our lives and the lives of people around us. That choice is freely ours to make. Let's make that choice and move our lives into the next level. I want only the best for you, and I believe in you, and I know that you can do it. Let's close out this the way we started it. You are enough. You have what it takes. You're a champion whose absolute best days are straight ahead. And as my dad would always say, you are loved and appreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for being a part of our great community as we roll towards one million. Have an epic day, a magnificent week, and God bless.
