SPEAKER_01

Welcome, welcome, welcome to a conversation of hope. I am so glad you tuned in this week. I have a great episode lined out for you. Right from the jump, I want to remind you that you, yes, you, are enough. You have what it takes, and your absolute best days are straight ahead. I want to share a quick example of how truly it's the simple things in life that bring the greatest joy. I had the privilege the other day of just sitting on the patio and watching my lady of love, my daughter, and my granddaughter plant a flower garden together. Watching them have so much fun doing something that they loved brought me so much joy. I always have to remind myself it's the simple things, y'all, that really truly are the greatest things in life. All right, here we go. This week I am super, super excited to remind you how amazing and precious you are. You might be going through a tough season right now in life, or maybe you made some mistakes and are just doubting yourself. Please let me remind you, we all make mistakes and we all make poor choices at some point. Please don't beat yourself up over it. I want to remind you, you are a one-off masterpiece. There is only and will only be one you. Your future is wide open. You can do and be whoever you choose to be. It's never over until it's over. Everyone needs a fresh start at some point in their lives. We all need grace and mercy at some point. If you have been feeling less than lately or like a failure, listen up as I get into our content, it is gonna remind you that you are a masterpiece, unique and different, with special gifts that only you can give to the world. Alright, y'all. Here we go. There is only one you. Out of the billions of people who have lived on this planet, there has never been another person exactly like you, and there never will be again. You are not an accident, you are not a copy, you are not a mistake. You are a one of a kind masterpiece. Think about that for a moment. Your fingerprints are unique. Your voice is unique, your experiences are unique, your personality is unique. The combination of gifts, talents, dreams, passions, strengths, and even struggles that make you who you are has never existed before in history. You were created with purpose. Too many people spend their lives wishing they were somebody else. They compare their lives to others. They compare their success, appearance, talents, income, relationships, and opportunities. But comparison is one of the fastest ways to rob yourself of joy. The oak tree does not compare itself to the rose. The eagle does not compare itself to the dolphin. The sun does not compare itself to the moon. Each fulfills its purpose by being exactly what it was created for, and the same is true for you. The world doesn't need another version of someone else. The world needs the best version of you, y'all. Some people have the gift of encouraging others. Some have the gift of leading, some have the gift of teaching, or maybe the gift of creating. How about the gift of listening? Some have the gift of serving, some have the gift of building businesses, some have the gift of making people laugh, and some have the gift of giving hope when everyone else seems despaired. Your gifts may seem ordinary to you because they come naturally, but what comes naturally to you may be life changing for somebody else. Never underestimate the power of your unique gifts. A smile can change someone's day. An encouraging word can change someone's attitude. A kind act can restore someone's faith. A conversation can change someone's future. You may never fully know the impact that you have on other people. There are people whose lives are better because you exist. There are people who need the gifts that only you can bring. There are people waiting for the encouragement, wisdom, compassion, leadership, or examples that only you can provide. The tragedy is not that someone lacks talent. The tragedy is when someone spends their entire life hiding the gifts they were given. The graveyard is filled with unwritten books, unstarted businesses, unsung songs, unrealized dreams, and untapped potential. Don't let your gifts stay buried inside of you. Share them, use them, develop them, grow them, and bless others with them. You may not be able to do everything, but you can do something, and you can do what matters. Many of the people we admire most were ordinary people who chose to use their unique gifts. They weren't perfect, they weren't fearless, and they weren't always qualified. They simply decided to step forward and use what they had. Remember, God doesn't ask us to be someone else. He asks us to be faithful with what he has given us. When you focus on what you don't have, you'll always feel lacking. When you focus on what you do have, you'll discover abundance. Instead of saying, I wish I had their talent, say, How can I maximize mine? Instead of saying, I wish I had their opportunities, ask, what opportunity is right in front of me today? Instead of saying, I wish I was more like them, declare, I am becoming the person I was created to be. The greatest competition you'll ever face is not with another person. It is with the person you were yesterday. Love that, you guys. I always love hearing that to remind me. It is the person I was yesterday that I'm competing with today, trying to get better. Your goal is not to outshine others, your goal is to shine your own light. And when you do, something amazing happens. When you give other people permission to do the same, the world becomes brighter when people embrace who they were created to be. Think about all the incredible things that have happened because one person decided to use their gifts, one teacher inspires a student, one parent raises a child with love, one coach changes a life, one entrepreneur creates jobs, one volunteer serves a community, one leader inspires a movement, and one person can make an enormous difference. Why not you? Why can't your story inspire someone? I'm sure it does, everyone. Why can't your life make an impact? Why can't your gifts help change the world around you? The answer is they can. And they will if you choose to use them. Don't wait until you're perfect, don't wait until you're fearless. Don't wait until you have everything figured out. Start today. Use what you have where you are, with what you've been given, because the world is missing something when you don't show up as your authentic self. The world needs your smile and your kindness, your compassion, your courage, your wisdom, your faith, your leadership, your gifts, your story. And remember this you are not here by chance. You were created intentionally, you were created uniquely, and you were created purposefully. You are a one-off masterpiece. That is so true, everyone. There has never been another you. There will never be another you. So stop comparing, stop doubting, stop minimizing yourself, stand tall, be grateful for who you are. Develop the gifts you've been given. Serve others with those gifts. Leave the world better than you found it. And every morning, when you look in the mirror, remind yourself I am unique, I am valuable, I am gifted, I am created with purpose. I have something special to offer to this world. There is only one me, and I will use my life to make a difference. Because there is only one you, and that is exactly what makes you extraordinary. Alright, y'all, that was fantastic. I love it. Very, very, very good stuff. I am glad I had a chance to remind you of just how incredible you are. All right, buckle up because we are headed into the laugh zone, y'all. That's right, straight ahead. Here we go. First one up. A man walked into a library and asked, Do you have any books on paranoia? The librarian whispered, They're right behind you. What do you call a bee that can't make up his mind? A maybe. All right. Let's get right into the stories. Two phenomenal stories this week. Very encouraging, and it's kind of cool to see every week the golden rule played out all over the world. This one is really, really neat. Simple, simple act of kindness turned into a massive deal. It says just by mowing a lawn, social media star raises $685,000 for a bereaved senior who fell behind on rent, who knew so much power laid behind the simple act of mowing the lawn. That's what Spencer from SB Mowing, the prolific social media account, has shown us before and is now showing us again as his yard work channels six hundred eighty five thousand dollars to a woman who had no money for rent or groceries. Wow, everybody. Debbie has had one of the hardest stretches of life imaginable, and she's been carrying most of it alone, said SB Mowing. And it started when her husband was diagnosed with stage four cancer and given ninety days to live. Debbie had to be his caregiver until he passed away. During her grief, a contractor she hired for tree work took her two thousand dollars deposit and never showed up. A neighbor wrecked her car and didn't pay for it. She fell three months behind on rent, put off dental and health care she genuinely needed, and there were days when she and her dogs went without food because she simply couldn't afford it. Wow, everyone. According to the news, an Uber driver who took Debbie home from the grocery store reached out to Spencer and explained the elderly woman's situation. Spencer and his father then came out with their kit and spent two whole days battling back the years of overgrowth and carting it off to the landfill. Afterwards they took a war chest of things she had prepared to sell in a yard sale to the habitat for humanity and brought back the cash without the work. Spencer's nonprofit SB Mowit Forward took care of Debbie's three months of back rent. Then he set up a GoFundMe that went viral. It raised six hundred and eighty-five thousand dollars from more than twenty two thousand donations, everyone. Wow. All of which has gone to a trust of which Debbie is the sole beneficiary. It's the kind of story that makes you pause in the face of someone saying that social media is all political and cat videos. Wow, I'm just telling you, that is so awesome, everybody. People helping people, random acts of kindness. That's what makes the world great. I'll tell you what, that is fantastic. Next story up fireman rushed a five-year-old's fingertips to the hospital where she recovered and painted a thank you picture for them. A five-year-old who had her fingertips sliced off in a freak merry-go-round accident recently visited the station of the firefighters who saved them. As Olive was rushed to the hospital, a group of eight Red Watch volunteers at the Essex County Fire and Rescue Service frantically searched for the severed digits in the grass. Oof. Finding all of them and putting them on ice, the firefighters hopped in their engine and when sirens blaring delivered them to the Broomsfield Hospital where they were successfully reattached. Eight weeks after the incident, Olive was able to visit the fire station to meet the team, bringing the perfect thank you gift, paintings of them and their fire engine done with the same hand that was operated on, were incredibly grateful for what they did that day. Their determination and care meant so much to us as a family, said Olive's mom, remarking how quickly everything had happened, but how the Red Watch didn't waste a second. Our firefighters showed great professionalism, determination, and care in supporting Olive and her family, said the group manager. While Olive was receiving treatment, crews remained focused on doing everything they could to assist. It's great to see how well she is recovering, and I know Red Watch loved welcoming her to the station. While visiting Red Watch, presented Olive with a certificate of bravery signed by Chief Fire Officer Rick Halton. Wow! All right, y'all, all around us. Golden rule and acts of kindness are happening every day and every way. I know we're doing them all the time. All right. Now I want to recap to you my top three podcast episodes, as I love listening to podcasts each and every week. Um, got some really, really good ones for y'all. First up, I was not born to be average by David Goggins. And if you haven't heard the David Goggins story, it's pretty awesome. At his own omission, he was obesely overweight, 300 pounds plus. He was an exterminator, life wasn't going too well. And he saw a documentary on TV about Navy SEALs. And he just locked in on that and decided, you know what, I do not like the life I'm living. I want to be a Navy SEAL. And so he went in and through a lot of adversity, he ended up being a Navy SEAL. And then he went on to be a Green Beret, too. Um, very, very just uh amazing individual whose will to succeed is awesome. It's crazy good. All right, here we go. David says, you were not born to be average. Average is not your destiny, it's a choice. Every one of us has incredible potential, yet most people never come close to reaching it because they choose comfort over growth, excuses over discipline, and convenience over greatness. David believes that the greatest tragedy in life isn't failure. It's living your entire life without discovery. Discovering what you truly are capable of. Your past does not determine your future. David grew up facing abuse, poverty, racism, learning disabilities, and obesity. By every worldly measure, he was expected to fail. But instead of accepting these labels, he decided to rewrite his story. His message is clear. You may never control what happened to you, but you completely control who you become. He says discipline always outperforms motivation. David often talks about the 40% rule, the belief that when your mind tells you you're finished, you've probably only tapped a fraction of your true capacity and potential. Most people quit because they are uncomfortable, not because they are incapable. Growth begins the moment you push beyond the limits your mind tries to place on you. Another major takeaway is personal accountability. Stop blaming your circumstances, past, or other people. The mirror tells the truth. Your future is created by the decisions that you make today, not the excuses that you made yesterday. The most important conversation you'll ever have is the one that you have with yourself, he says. It is just good stuff. And when you get a chance, check out the full episode. The link to that full episode is in the show notes, as always. All right, number two, find yourself again, unlock your true potential. Your identity should never be determined by your past failures, mistakes, others' people's opinions, temporary setbacks, or current circumstances. Your identity is found in your values, gifts, and the person you choose to become. Honestly evaluate your life. Ask yourself, am I living intentionally or am I just existing? What dreams have I abandoned? What habits are holding me back? What fears are controlling my decisions? If nothing changed, would I be happy five years from now? These questions are not meant to discourage you. They're designed to wake you up. Your comfort zone is stealing your future. Comfort feels safe but often becomes a prison. Growth requires taking risks, trying new things, being willing to fail, learning continuously, stepping into uncomfortable situations. Everything you've ever wanted is waiting beyond the comfort zone. Stop letting fear write your story. Fear convinces people that they are too old, too young, or too inexperienced, too broke or too late. Courage is not the absence of fear. It's refusing to let fear make your decisions. Protect your mind. Be careful what you consume. Your life moves in the direction of your strongest thoughts. Stop comparing yourself with others. Focus on becoming a better version of you instead of competing with everybody else. Believe it before you see it. That's so powerful, y'all. Every great achievement started as a belief before it became a reality. Alright, y'all, link to fold episode is in the show notes. Number three, seven things to tell yourself every night for more happiness and positivity by Mel Robbins. She is so good. If you haven't gotten her podcast, grab it. Mel starts off by saying the quality of tomorrow begins with the thoughts that you choose today. What you repeatedly tell yourself before falling asleep becomes part of how your brain processes emotions and prepares for the next day. Number one, she says, it's okay for you to feel overwhelmed. Difficult emotions are not a sign of weakness. They're signs we are humans. Instead of criticizing yourself for feeling stressed or anxious, acknowledge your feelings with compassion. The moment you stop fighting your emotions, they will lose much of their power. Self acceptance calms your nervous system and allows your brain to move from panic to peace. Number two, I can manage this. No matter what tomorrow holds, you've handled difficult days before, and you will handle this one too. This statement builds confidence because it reminds you that you are more capable than your worries would ever have you believe. Number three, I don't need to solve this right now. Your bed is not your office. Your pillow is not your planning desk. Problems almost always appear bigger in the dark. Give yourself permission to postpone solving them until tomorrow when you've rested and you're thinking clearly. Number four, I did my best today. Many people end the day replaying everything they didn't accomplish. Replacing guilt with gratitude is powerful, y'all. Maybe today was not perfect. Maybe you made some mistakes. But if you honestly gave what you had today, that's enough. Celebrate your effort instead of obsessing over perfection. Progress, not perfection, is what builds confidence over time. And then number five, tomorrow is going to be a good day. Agree with her on that. Make sure you get that full episode. It's linked in the show notes. Always good stuff from Mel Robbins. And now, challenge of the week. Embrace yourself. Accept yourself for who you are. A one-off masterpiece. Forgive yourself for any past mistakes. And now get super, super, super excited about sharing your unique, beautiful gifts with the world and all around you. Shout it out. Watch out, world. Here I come. Once again, I want to remind you and finish this thing off. You are enough. You have in fact what it takes. You are a champion whose absolute best days are straight ahead. In this community, you are loved and appreciated. Let's all live out hope this week, helping one person every day. Never, ever, ever stop dreaming and believe in big. Always better, never backwards. Don't forget to speak words of life over you and your family. I am getting better and better every day in every way. My family is getting better and better every day in every way. Thank you, Shannon Lee, my lady of love, for producing this each and every week. Does a magnificent job. Thank you. Thank you. And thank you and thank you for being a part of this great community as we roll to one million. Have an epic day and an amazing week.
