I really would love to know whereabouts in the world you're from, who's listening, what parts you like, what parts you don't. It would just help me to help you. Okay, so jump on board. Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, name it, I'm there.

Welcome And Meet Joshua

SPEAKER_00

Hello, welcome back. It is me, Dave Morgan from the Team Wing It podcast. And that new intro music you just heard was brought to you by Google Gemini. And I will talk about that later on because well pfft I don't want to right now and let me introduce my guest, my co-host, my the reason I get up and pull my hair out in the morning, my son, Joshua Morgan.

SPEAKER_01

Hello everyone.

SPEAKER_00

So last time I did this, or I think so, I can't remember, I'd have to go back and check.

Phillip Island Camp Highlights

SPEAKER_00

You had just come back from camp. So tell me about the camp. Tell the listeners about the camp. I already know about it.

SPEAKER_01

It was very good. So on the first day we drove down to Phillip Island. Pretty uh pretty long drive, about two hours.

SPEAKER_00

Yep, we've done that drive many times.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Then we got to the camp. We had to wait. And we had to do our first two activities before we found out who was in our cabins.

SPEAKER_00

What were the activities?

SPEAKER_01

Um my first two were the giant swinging bike. And yeah, after I did that we got told our cabins. I was in a pretty good cabin. And so the first night I had dinner I had spaghetti.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, we don't need your life story. Just tell us the fun activities you were doing.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so the activities I did was obviously the giant swinging bike with the flying fox. Um archery. Uh the circuitron. And uh the circuitron is so basically you get hooked up into this big sphere, sphere thing. And you get just run like you just get I don't really know how to explain it. But yeah. It's just a very interesting thing.

SPEAKER_00

Right, so what else happened?

SPEAKER_01

And we also did so the first day is done now. And uh then we did pools, and that was another activity.

SPEAKER_00

What, playing pool or swimming in a pool?

SPEAKER_01

Swimming in a pool.

SPEAKER_00

You're on to Philip Island, you're surrounded by water. Why do you need a pool?

SPEAKER_01

Well that's a camp site thing. There was a pool there. And yeah, so that was my first activity for the day. Then we had such it's such a long time ago.

SPEAKER_00

Alright, look. Did you have fun?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Excellent. That's the main thing because let's face it, we've got other shit to talk about.

SPEAKER_01

The other thing I do remember is we did mini golf and we actually got off the campsite and we actually walked down to Grumpy's mini golf.

SPEAKER_00

Ah, I remember that place. I used to play that a lot when my parents used to drag Kelly and myself down there every summer for our holiday.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. That was basically it. And I we drove back to school and this boy w surprised me here at the school.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, I've already spoken about that.

SPEAKER_01

And yeah, it was just a big shock.

SPEAKER_00

That's right, but as you told your mother, he wasn't here for drop-off, so you knew so you knew he'd be here for pickup.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Alright, that's enough about the camp because I talked about that too. Let's move on.

Viking Theme And AI Intro Music

SPEAKER_04

Each horizon is a new beginning rise and rain.

SPEAKER_00

So about the new intro music. I told you I'd get back to it. I decided to do something different. Cause I've been into Viking mythology and all that sort of thing for a while, a couple of years now. And um I was playing around with Google Gemini and I designed new logos for the Instagram and everything else. So if you go into the Team Winged Instagram, I'm sure I put it up there. If not, I will. And so I'm doing a more Viking themed thing, and then I thought, wait a minute, I wonder if I could use this Google Gemini AI thing to create an intro and an outro. And um guess what? It worked. And I was like, oh shit, that's actually really, really cool. Who needs to be creative when you can type in a couple of sentences? But then again, you know what? I could create all sorts of stuff like them now. All I need to do is uh get the content to be better and we've got a winner here. But no, I'm happy with it, and um yes, hopefully I will get back into more videos because I have some ideas for that too. Because I've been severely lacking, consider I've only done one this year and we're like almost at the end of March. Ah god, life gets in the way. It's such a bad thing, isn't it? Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_06

Far from the fluids and the ice cold currents, weave and soar over new frontiers, songs and saddles of a fake teacher.

First Rugby Game At Amy Park

SPEAKER_00

Alright, we are back, and as I am recording this, as we are recording this on uh the Sunday, what did we do on the Friday night, Josh?

SPEAKER_01

We uh went uh a rugby game on Friday.

SPEAKER_00

Now it's your very first rugby game. It's my very first Melbourne Storm game at Amy Park, as I used to go back in the day when they were at Olympic Park and they used to have this grousy mound down one end where all us drunks would hang out and have a blast. But Josh has never been to a rugby game and his team, the Brisbane Broncos I don't know, I failed as a parent. It was a grand final replay and the Broncos beat us last year in the grand final. So Josh, tell me, how did t on Friday's night uh how did Friday night's game go?

SPEAKER_01

It went really well. The Broncos beat your team so Melbourne Storm officially suck eggs.

SPEAKER_00

Well that's a lass. But yeah, we kept them scoreless in the first half and then they came back in the second half and just Yeah, we lost. So Josh's first time going to the rugby was seeing his team win at the expense of my team, and I went with friends of mine, Charmaine and Katie, and Yes. Look, it was a good night. The train was incredibly packed on the way home. Got to catch up with a mate of mine, Mick, on the train in and look it was good. Did you enjoy going to the game?

SPEAKER_01

I did.

SPEAKER_00

Would you go again?

SPEAKER_01

Well, I wouldn't go to every game, but I would like to go occasionally.

SPEAKER_00

Yep, not a problem. I can understand that. Like there's fireworks and flamethrowers and all sorts of shenanigans going on, so I enjoyed it. I had fun.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I actually like the flamethrowers and fireworks. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

How about the overpacked train at the end?

SPEAKER_01

I d I didn't mind it, but it was s way too.

SPEAKER_00

It was very, very squished and um. Yeah. I was gonna say. Yeah, it was very just very, very squished. And it was a late night for you too. You're knackered, but you know what? Once in a while isn't too bad.

SPEAKER_01

Nah.

SPEAKER_00

So yes, you've now been to your first rugby game and seen your team win. Ah, screw the Broncos.

SPEAKER_01

Out the Broncos.

SPEAKER_05

Those of favor of the thrill of thunder pull together for the cloud and king. Clank of happens and the crash of thunder pound within calls of eternity calling me.

SPEAKER_01

SPEAKER_00

SPEAKER_01
