Hello I AM | Lessons from the Loaf | Pastor Jamie Kemp
This week, we are exploring the idea that people are spiritually hungry but often seek fulfillment in the wrong places. Using the story of Jesus feeding the 5000 (John 6), we learn several key lessons:
- Where vs How: While we often ask, “How will this happen?” Jesus asks, “Where is your trust placed?”
- Give Jesus Something to Work With: God can multiply whatever little we bring to Him.
- God’s Provision is More Than Enough: When God provides, there is always overflow and abundance.
- Serving Jesus on His Terms: Many wanted Jesus for physical bread, but He offers eternal life.
- Jesus is What We Truly Need: Instead of chasing temporary fulfillment, we should hunger for Jesus, the Bread of Life.
Jesus challenges us to examine where we find our satisfaction and to trust Him as our ultimate source of life.
