Hey friends. It's Genni here. Just popping in with a quick update about the podcast. I've decided to hit pause for a little bit so I can regroup, recharge, and get ready for season two of the Lazy Budget Travel Tips podcast. Being a one woman show has been a lot. You wear a lot of hats. Researcher, host, editor, promoter, and I'm doing all this while working a separate, full-time, nine to five job, and sometimes it's just really good to take a step back and give myself some breathing room so I can bring you the best episodes possible.
But don't worry, I won't be disappearing. I'll be posting more often on Instagram, especially throughout October. And of course, you can always find me in the Lazy Budget Travel Tips Facebook group Where I'll be sharing travel tips, updates, and some behind the scenes moments while I'm prepping [00:01:00] for season two, and I actually got a lot happening the next couple of months in September, Brandon and I are taking our travel trailer out for a two week adventure around our home state of Florida.
it's going to be the longest trip we've taken since we've gotten RRV last October and our very first big trip with our new rescue pup. Sky, so I'm sure it's gonna be a mix of fun, major learning curves, and maybe a little chaos, but definitely memories in the making.
Then in October, things get even busier. I'll be speaking at the Travel More Conference in New Orleans from October 3rd through the fifth, and hope to see you there. If you are attending, please come say hi. I'd love to meet you. And then right after that, Brandon and I are heading across the pond for a two week trip touring around the [00:02:00] uk.
This trip is extra special because it's Brandon's first time traveling overseas since 2016, and of course we're doing it. In style flying Virgin Atlantic upper class round trip in their new A330-900neo, And I'll absolutely be sharing every part of that experience on Instagram.
And we'll probably turn it into a fun two part episode once we're back for season two of the podcast. During this little hiatus of ours, I'll also be popping up on other podcasts to help spread the word about lazy budget travel tips.
And if you've been enjoying the show, it would mean so much if you would share it with a friend or especially leave a review. Every single share, download and review helps make the show more visible, and the more support we have, the more opportunities I get to bring on amazing guests. With real relatable stories [00:03:00] and practical tips that can help you travel more for less.
And since I'll already be brainstorming what's next, I'd love to hear from you, what episodes would you like to see in season two? What questions do you have about points, miles, or saving money on travel? Send me a DM on Instagram, drop a comment in the group, or reply to my newsletter if you are subscribed.
So thank you so much for supporting the show and being part of this community. Season two is on the way, and I can't wait to bring you more tips, stories, and strategies to help you travel more for less.
I've always believed there's no right or wrong way to save money on travel, just the best way that fits your life, and I'm so grateful I get to share that with you. So this officially wraps up season one. I'll be going a little quiet for a few weeks just to take a break, and then season two will be launching very soon in a few months.
[00:04:00] So Until then, keep up with me on Instagram and in the Lazy Budget Travel Tips Facebook group. And as always, keep it simple, keep it fun, and keep exploring. Thanks guys.
