In this episode, we continue our devotional on God's Will.
We talk about what gets in the way of our joy and gratitude — how life’s disappointments, unanswered prayers, and heartache can test our trust in God’s will. Chrissie shares a personal story of prayer in the hospital, and we reflect on what it means to trust God even when His answers don’t align with our desires.
We also unpack the “safety nets” we tend to cling to - our idols of control, comfort, or security — and what it looks like to surrender them to the One who sustains us.
As we close this two-part conversation, we’re reminded that God’s will is not a person, place, or process — it’s a posture of the heart. A daily invitation to rejoice, pray, and give thanks, trusting that He is good and His purposes are perfect.
