Sherry:

Hey, it's Sherry and Jodi. Before we get into our next full episode, which will be released next Saturday, may 3rd, we wanted to take a minute to say thank you. We've officially passed 412 downloads, approaching 500, and that honestly blows us away as newbies to the podcast world. So if you've listened, shared or followed us, thank you Truly. We feel the love. We don't take your time or attention lightly, so it's very much appreciated.

Sherry:

When we started this, our hope was to create a place where you can catch your breath, while reminding you that there is always a path forward, although it is sometimes hard to see. And we want to pause and say something important as we begin to tell our stories around here. We don't compare pain or make assumptions about anyone's story. We know that everyone is carrying something, and we're not about saying what you should feel or what your life should look like. For some of us, being on autopilot might look like just coasting through the day, while it might also only be the way to survive a hard season, and both are valid. We're not here to judge that. We're just here to hold space for it and to find ways to prevent overwhelm and move through it. When you find yourself there, each person's perspective can only come from their own lived experiences. Growth isn't always big or obvious. Sometimes it's quiet, sometimes it's just showing up. We're talking about little ways to keep going and growing through all those seasons of life when everything feels out of control.

Sherry:

The way forward doesn't come from the noise and the chaos. It comes from within, and with that in mind, our episodes will be telling stories about our individual journeys and little helpful nuggets that we've picked up along the way, but also through the stories of inspiring people that are all around you. But also through the stories of inspiring people that are all around you. Some stories feel like driving a crumbling road where new potholes are popping up left and right, and then there are the ones that feel like a full-on sinkhole. You don't see it coming, but you suddenly find yourself deep in it. And then still, others are built layer by layer and the weight piles on layer by layer, and that might feel like climbing Rialto Street in roller skates with the case of Iron City on your back. Everyone's story matters, but what matters most is that we always remember there is always a way through.

Sherry:

If you haven't listened to our introductory episode or our first full episode about moving beyond bitterness when life is a jag off. Go back and check them out before the next one drops. One of the best parts about podcasts is that you can listen anytime, anywhere, so if you miss something, it's easy to go back and catch up. We're keeping it simple. From here, our plan is full episodes every other Saturday, with bonus episodes sprinkled in between, starting soon with some awesome guests, and we're looking for more inspiring stories to share or perspectives from those who help us through them. So reach out if you've got one or you know someone, and now we also want to hear from you. We hope to build this with you as we go.

Sherry:

So what's resonating? What do you want? More of Any moments that stuck with you? You can DM us on Instagram, at TYPGHPOD, or leave a quick rating and review wherever you listen, drop us an email or fill out our contact form. It means more than you know. All right, we'll be back next Saturday with an episode about what it means to live on autopilot and how to start moving with intention. Again, one small choice at a time. Until then. This is it, and we're in it with you no-transcript.
