• Western United have been stripped of their A-League Licence effective Immediately
• Matildas captain Steph Catley is one of 30 nominees for the Ballon d'Or Feminin after an outstanding year for Arsenal.
• World #1 and soon to be crowned World Champion Molly Picklum is in the Tahiti Pro final against Caitlin Simmers tonight
• The Boomers and The Opals go undefeated in the FIBA Asia Cup Heat stage 
• Australian Steve Erceg has defeated Ode Osbourne by unanimous decision (29-28 x 3) in Sunday’s UFC bantamweight bout from Las Vegas.
• 6 new inductees to the Australian Sporting Hall of fame: Lleyton Hewitt, NRL legend Cameron Smith Jason Dunstall, Netball World Cup winning captain Laura Geitz, Australia’s most capped Socceroo Mark Schwarzer and Olympic snowboarding gold medallist Torah Bright rounded out the superstar six.
