• Australian former first overall pick Travis Bazzana is about to get his shot in the big time. The Cleveland Guardians are calling up the Sydney native from Triple-A Columbus 
• Jarome Luai will quit the Wests Tigers after agreeing to join the Papua New Guinea Chiefs in a major coup for the NRL expansion team.
• Aljamain Sterling has declared he’s next in line for a crack at UFC featherweight king Alexander Volkanovski after stringing together back-to-back wins in the division.
