013: Don't Lose The Plot, Your Identity is in Christ!
This episode is a gentle but honest nudge for anyone who’s starting to confuse the work with their worth. Your identity is not in your “calling,” your title, or your productivity. It’s in Christ alone.
If you’ve been feeling discouraged, overlooked, or tempted to accelerate God’s vision for your life, I pray this conversation helps you pause, reset, and realign with the truth: You are already enough in Him.
What You’ll Hear in This Episode:
- Why your assignment is not your identity
- How comparison and competition can distort your calling
- A personal story of wrestling with feeling “behind” in God’s plan
- Why God’s timing is always different from our own
- How to anchor yourself in sonship, not striving
Scripture to Meditate On
- 2 Corinthians 9:6–11 — “Whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”
- Luke 10:38–42 — The story of Mary and Martha (choosing to sit at Jesus’ feet)
- Romans 8:15 — “The Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.”

Bonus Treat: Limoncello Coffee Recipe
Because rest also tastes like something sweet, here’s my recipe for the iced lemoncello coffee I perfected on Sabbath:
What you need:
- 1 chocolate Nespresso capsule
- 1 tsp lemon curd (stir into the hot coffee, then chill overnight)
Next-day cold foam magic:
- Heavy cream
- Splash of lemon extract
- Splash of vanilla extract
- Vanilla creamer
- Whip with a hand mixer until creamy but still pourable
To serve:
- Drizzle your glass with white chocolate
- Add crushed ice + chilled coffee
- Pour vanilla creamer to taste
- Top with cold foam, lemon zest, and a sprinkle of cinnamon
✨ Sip slowly and let God remind you: You are already enough.
