My sister Mireille is sharing her journey with Narcolepsy and how she is living her best life.
Narcolepsy is a chronic neurological disorder that disrupts the brain's ability to regulate sleep-wake cycles. People with narcolepsy often experience excessive daytime sleepiness, sudden "sleep attacks," and fragmented nighttime sleep. Other symptoms may include cataplexy (sudden muscle weakness triggered by emotions), sleep paralysis, and vivid hallucinations during sleep transitions.
