Lather Up
Hayley's Mugging Plot is a Bust, Nick's Pain Management, Chase's Mistake and Eric Can't Hack it
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Beyond the Gates: Hayley and Lynette's plan to get Bill's attention back now has Joey Armstrong's eye. Young & the Restless: Nick's leg hurts too much so he's now turned to street drugs. General Hospital: Chase's move to frame Michael is falling apart plus we remember Anthony Geary. Bold and the Beautiful: Eric is stressing while retired and Ridge and Brooke now know why.
La (00:06)
Hello and welcome to another edition of Lather Up with La. Hope you're staying in and keeping warm from the snow and the cold, but we got a big week ahead in our stories. First off, Malcolm Winters is coming back. That's right, Shemar Moore has been sighted on the Young and the Restless Genoa City set. Coming back is Malcolm Winters. And if you don't know,
Chanelle (00:10)
and Chanelle
La (00:34)
I don't know what to tell you. Anyway, he will be expected along with the illustrious Vivica A. Fox on the show starting in April. We have deduced that it's most likely because of the Lily disappearance and the twins. So we don't know how it's connected, but I'm pretty sure that's why we are bringing them back and it's supposed to be multi-episodes. So it's not a hi and bye. We're going to see them for a couple of minutes. I am elated.
Chanelle Oliver (00:41)
Yes.
I mean, this works out perfectly too, because with this storyline, we know the actress is actually on maternity leave, and with them shooting now, those multi-arc episodes will probably run in maybe April or so.
La (01:19)
So my understanding is that Vivica A. Fox will come as the role of Stephanie Simmons. So for those who don't know, Stephanie Simmons was a character that originally came 94 to 95. She was a colleague of Dr. Olivia Winters, who was, Nathan's mom.
Chanelle (01:28)
Yep, doctor.
La (01:42)
And so Malcolm and her were together for a hot minute. then, Vivica movie career probably took off and she didn't have time for soap operas anymore. You also may remember her from the first African-American based show, Generations. That was the first soap opera on NBC in the 90s. It only lasted like a year or two, and then it disappeared. ⁓ Yes, you did.
Chanelle Oliver (02:03)
But it was so impactful because you got Kristoff St. John as well as our
girl Victoria Rowell
La(02:09)
Yes, we did. But, Chanelle, what did you say you saw online who, one of our current characters might be?
Chanelle (02:17)
There's actually word on the soap streets that it could be some sort of relation to also Holden. What if maybe Malcolm and Stephanie had a secret child? That would be the second for Malcolm, but we're still trying to keep him one because we know that Holden is now a recurring character.
La(02:23)
Yes.
Yes, and he is in LA now, so what if Malcolm and Stephanie both live on the West Coast and he needs some backup or he needs some help? Maybe he's gonna hit Mr. Winters. I don't know, but I cannot wait to find out why those two are here and what they gonna do with them because, like you said, it's also in the same timeframe as the crossover, so this is just gonna be, woo, May Sweeps is gonna be fire.
Chanelle (03:05)
My gosh, Young and the Restless already having, they had my attention knowing that they will be on Beyond the Gate soon, but this, cherry on the top, cherry on the top.
La (03:07)
WAH!
Yes, we were already geeking over that now you gonna add even more.
⁓ goodness. All right Yes
Chanelle Oliver (03:17)
say Josh is writing to keep his job. But before
we even get into it, we have to shout out too that this upcoming week is the first anniversary of Beyond the Gates.
La(03:26)
Happy anniversary.
That would be Tuesday, February 24th. have, oh, that's when we started and we love that y'all are still with us on this journey. But I can't believe that we have gotten through a whole year, not just with this podcast, but with that show. Like there's been so much growth, development. It has been so lovely to.
Chanelle (03:31)
And that's also our anniversary.
La (03:53)
get to know the Duprees and the Hamiltons and all that. So, so excited and I hope this is years to come because if they keep this up, there's no way that they are not going to become an OG as well.
Chanelle (04:07)
Appointment television, I tell you.
La (04:09)
Neilsen knowledge real quick.
Chanelle (04:12)
Eh, General Hospital averaged more than two million viewers for the fifth time in six weeks. So that marks its longest streak since at least like March, 2024. At this point, we are seeing an uptick across the board with just daytime programming and television. Last week, we had a few interruptions between the searches and breaking news from the White House. But at least when it comes to the soaps,
La (04:36)
Yep.
Chanelle Oliver (04:39)
We on the right path and I appreciate it across the board. Beyond the Gates attracted its second largest audience of the season. About 1.7 million versus the 1.9 or so that they had previously. And that was its third largest audience ever. I'm here for it. It's up about 6,000 viewers from the year before.
La (04:56)
Wow. All right.
Okay, then I guess we need to start in the DMV with Beyond the Gate. So, Hayley's little stunt with Lynette is now backfiring.
Her whole acting like, you know, it's just hard to blink and she can barely breathe. She's having PTSD, And Bill has taken all of her pain and suffering to heart so much so that he has now made a deal with the devil, AKA Joey Armstrong, Mr. Gangster of the DMV. And he's like, I'll do whatever you want if you find the man who assaulted my beautiful petite.
frail wife who's really a grifter trying to take him for every dime and his idiot self don't know about it. And Joey was like, really? You'll owe me a favor.
I'm on it. And who does he put on it? Randy. Mr. I can't never get nothing done Randy, who also knows for a fact that there was no thuggish, ruggish person that took down Hayley It was Lynette with her awesome grifter idea of you want your husband to fawn all over you? Make it seem like you were mugged. So now Randy is like both to Hayley and Lynette, what am I going to do? Joey is demanding results quickly and I know who did it.
But do I throw you under the bus Hayley Do I throw you under the bus Lynette? What we gonna do about this? This was a stupid idea. I told you that from the beginning
Chanelle (06:27)
Again, when he's right, he's right, but we know from guns jamming and poison being not as strong as it needs to be, Randy sometimes has moments of clarity when it comes to the con. And at this point, I feel for him because they're going to have to set somebody up. And that's what it looks like we're going to be getting this week because we know that when it comes to favors, good as gold for Joey. So he's going to have to have results and it doesn't help.
that you have this connection where Hayley, Bill, Joey and Randy are in uptown at the same time, where we've come to find out that Joey gets an added piece of the information because Bill is like, who, why are you with Sammy? Why in Sammy? But of course, Joey keeps his cool and is like, he comes to the casino. But now he kind of realizes that even the lies that Randy told him about sleeping with Hayley aren't true.
La (07:05)
Yes.
Chanelle (07:25)
We know that Bill thinks his name is Sammy and Hayley has to pretend like her and Randy aren't meeting up in secret. So it's ⁓ how have you been? Yada, yada, yada. It's going to come to a head at one point.
La (07:38)
Not just that, Nomas has also peeped that there's something amiss between Hayley and Lynette. So he gets a chewing out by Bill because Hayley tells on him when he approaches Hayley and is like, I got a question. Why did you feel the need to bypass a messenger who could have sent all the paperwork to Lynette like we normally do with all our other clients?
You decided to do it yourself and that's what got you mugged. And of course she plays victim. You're blaming me for getting mugged, trying to do you a favor. You must have forgot who I am. I am the Mrs. To the Hamilton law firm. And you better remember junior partner, just because I'm a paralegal, I still have power, And of course Bill overhears her fussing. He addresses Tomas and is like, don't blame my wife for trying to help you out. So.
Tomas talks to Lynette and is like, let me remind you who I am. I am your lawyer. So you don't need to go to the paralegal to get stuff. We have an arrangement with a messenger service to get you all the information paperwork you need. And if you have questions, you're to contact me, not Hayley. And she's like, you ain't doing your job. I need all the charges dropped. And he's like, or.
you could only have to do probation. No, I want to be innocent or nothing at all, or maybe I'm going to have to go to Bill. So of course Tomas is trying to become partner so he can't have Bill knowing that he is not fulfilling what he needs to do. And it doesn't help that he's doing this pro bono because Lynette has already tricked Hayley into helping her not have to pay for the legal services of the Hamilton firm. And
He peeped something that Lynette said was wrong, but she was like, I never asked Hayley to give me those papers. She just showed up. Now what Hayley told him was that Lynette called her to see her and bring her the papers. So he is trying to figure out who is lying. he's trying to pinpoint where the lies started and why Hayley and Lynette are so close.
Chanelle (09:43)
I mean, at this point is that even her real name? Like maybe that's why she doesn't want to go into the system. Who knows? But I'm here for it.
La (09:46)
I don't know.
We also have the unfortunate repercussions of chemo for Miss Anita. She and Vernon go to the club, try to have a lunch out and silk press. Freaking Leslie comes over. Hey, remember at Christmas time, I bid and won the have lunch with Articulettes I would like to schedule that now.
And of course, Vernon tries to play mediator and he's like, we're kind of in the middle of something. We just want to have a quiet lunch, go through the proper channels, through the auction process, and they will set us up. No, I want to Oompa Loompa now. I want you to call the other two Articulettes and we need to put something on the books. Meanwhile, Anita is still dealing with the chemo. And she just really doesn't want to fight right now. But Leslie is insistent.
And she's like, well, if I can't have lunch right now with the Articulettes, I'm gonna have one with an Articulette. And she is just gross. Talking about how she lost her virginity or had sex with an Articulette song and they're both just grossed out to the point where Vernon was like, you can cancel the rest of my food. I don't even want it.
Chanelle (11:04)
Yes.
La (11:06)
And she gets Anita so upset that when she gets up, she has a dizzy spell. Of course, Leslie is convinced it's because Vernon didn't let Anita have her food, her hot crab dip, which I love, but she can't eat food like that right now. And she's just thinking that she's, her sugar's low and stuff like that, but unfortunately it gets around the club and people are insinuating that Anita may have a drinking problem or a substance abuse problem because she was wobbly on her feet.
So this is.
Chanelle Oliver (11:36)
Yeah, I thought that was
so crazy. And you're right. So disrespectful. And I think Leslie was also coming in hot at the country club because we started the week off with kind of a Valentine's day to remember. Everybody was feeling the love to the point that she actually ran into again at uptown Ted, Shanice, Dani and Andre. And it's a weird pairing of friendship, but I'm here for it.
La (11:49)
Right.
Chanelle Oliver (12:04)
where Dani and Shanice teamed up to basically talk mess to Leslie who was sitting at the bar alone because she has no one. And it was probably hard for her to see Shanice won in the end, the battle, for Ted because he not only picked out her dress, he took her on a night on the town and they are stronger than they were. So Leslie was like, well, I got plans too and everything else. But when she called,
Detective Malone, not so fast. He was working, he was cold. She realizes there are hookups, are really just booty calls at this point.
La (12:43)
Yeah, and her own daughter had, Izaiah, brought, stuff that he knew.
Eva would like. Meanwhile, Leslie is telling her, deserve flowers and candy and diamonds and that's all he brought you. And Eva was just like Malone, cold and kind of cruel to Leslie. Not that I object, but she's like, don't be mad because nobody gave you nothing. And if you don't like the way that I'm being treated supposedly by my man and you have no one, you can leave. I was like, dang, I see where you get it.
Chanelle (13:17)
Yeah, it was, it was
a sad thing where they did come in hot for Leslie, but it was one of the few times we see her, her taking down a peg to the point that they ended that episode. had scarf on makeup off and broke her mirror which is probably seven more years of bad luck because she just had enough of Valentine's day in the love.
La (13:26)
It was long overdue.
Yep.
The only thing missing was they should have been playing alone again, naturally.
And now, remember we was talking last week about how thuggish-ruggish Jacob is hot. Well, unfortunately, he did pass the loyalty test and now he is one of the gang in his undercover sting and he goes home and he tells Naomi, I gots to go. I got to go deeper. And in doing so, I have to leave you. I have to move out. The only way you can contact me is through this burner phone and it better be an emergency. We cannot.
have contact because I can't put you in danger. And I'm hoping this is a wake up call for her because of course before they separate, they have to have a moment of passion. And I want that to be a reminder that maybe you need to remember that he is your best friend and you can't keep keeping secrets from him like her. ⁓ Yeah, her, the thing, like why?
Chanelle (14:40)
Diagnosis?
Braca
gene yeah.
La (14:44)
Yes,
I'm like you need to tell him everything because he would die for you literally die for you But you brought up a good point about I hope that this you know Moment of romping in the hay doesn't result in yet another pregnancy because as far as we know She has not taken care of that She did not get her tubes tied and he did not get a vasectomy and they was quick with it trying to rip off their clothes I didn't see any condoms. So I'm just saying
Chanelle (15:10)
Yeah, look at that. And the fact that he will be out of the mix gives her time to think. When she was close enough to trying to tell him about it, this is when he sprung the whole undercover business on her anyway. So maybe this night of passion could lead to another pregnancy scare, but it'll be interesting to see because Bill and Hayley caught on to when she was like, Oh, I haven't seen Jacob in a while and things like that. So
They feel like there's already trouble in marriage paradise for them. We'll see.
La(15:39)
True.
Yeah. ⁓ also with the whole rumor and chatter with Anita, we see this week that she is going to address her illness to the public and she's gonna go on what it looks like CBS this morning and talk to Gayle King. So she is addressing it.
Chanelle (16:01)
Yeah, because she said if the rumor mill at the country club and beyond is getting to the point that she has an alcohol problem, it could affect the foundation. It could affect anything with the Articulettes. And she was like, they were keeping it under wraps because she just wanted to have that time alone to herself. She doesn't want that to impact her family or anybody else. So I appreciate this, especially because February is cancer prevention month.
La (16:27)
Yes.
Chanelle (16:27)
So
this again raises awareness, it brings something timely that we need. And this is something that impacts so many women who most likely need to get tested and just know what their results are too.
La (16:39)
Correct. And we also got a glimpse at lab tech Grayson. He can pop off So Ashley, unfortunately, crossed some lines and researched and tried to find some suitable facilities for his mother who I believe has dementia or Parkinson's. And...
Chanelle (16:57)
Yes.
La (16:59)
She needs treatment and he's just a lab tech, unfortunately. He's not a doctor, so he's not making bank, bank. And so she's like, here are some facilities. and maybe there's a a grant that you can get for your mom to help pay for it. And he looks at her like,
You think I haven't thought of this? You think I haven't researched this? You think that I don't want the best for my mother? Who are you? Back off. I got this. And he pretty much told her, like, I appreciate your help, but I didn't ask you for this. And he walks off and you just see Ashley, giving the "but I was trying to help" look eventually he comes back, apologizes, but we realize now just how strapped he is.
to live and to take care of his mother. So again, the impaler situation or association seems more more likely now to me.
Chanelle (17:56)
Look, between that and from the preview that we got for this upcoming week, we see that someone who's part of the crew is none other than Izaiah. And he was not even on my radar of being attached to this. I knew he was the black sheep, but I didn't know he was dabbling in the black market. So.
La (18:06)
Yes!
I thought
he had said he changed now that he was doing the Banneker's thing.
Chanelle (18:18)
But my thing is that a front? Is that something just to bring him back because they were losing plasma or something? Who knows?
La (18:20)
HUH?!
⁓ that's good point.
Chanelle (18:28)
So now we have to add him to the potential impaler list because you have Dr. Carlton who goes in and out of town. You have Grayson who is a little wobbly. We know he can pop off. We got Dr. Kial who, guest traveling doctor, but it's like we really still don't know a lot about him. And now Izaiah
La (18:50)
and it'll be brother versus brother because you have the right side of the law and the wrong side of the law.
Chanelle (18:56)
And do you blow your brother's spot up because here you're trying to take down a criminal organization. He's in it. He knows you a cop trying to take down the organization. What you gonna do?
La(18:58)
Yaaaay!
And you know, his father is always talking about how Izaiah is just never gonna be right. So that would break his heart to have to learn that his other son who he already doesn't believe in is still doing the wrong thing. And what's Eva gonna learn? If she learns about this, how is she gonna feel? The man she in love with is still a criminal.
Chanelle (19:14)
Well, he would know.
She loves her mama still, I don't know. and I have to give you a piece of private news that Elon Hawthorne is coming to the DMV.
La (19:33)
Mmmmm
⁓
that's right. And he has ties to DMV. ⁓
Chanelle (19:45)
Yes, I heard the information shout out to one of our main listeners and Malachi who plays Elon was an actual Metropolitan Police officer in the DC area. So.
La(19:49)
Hey, hey.
Chanelle (20:00)
we are on it, we will get an interview with him because I just want to learn so much more about his DMV ties.
La (20:07)
Absolutely. And he does do police chief well.
Chanelle (20:12)
True.
And again, beyond the gates, we just have to shout it out. What a difference a year makes. And I have to also give credence to Anastasia Belleclaire. Now we know that, you know, we thought she was just the nosy country club lady, but with her and Chessy, her granddaughter, that we have more and more information of just how much she hates the Duprees And
La (20:22)
⁓ my goodness.
Chanelle (20:39)
She was trying to get information about Nicole from Mona. Of course Mona shut that down. She even stepped to Samantha and was like, ⁓ I don't think you'll be ready as a deputant. Are you gonna call it quits because know, Chessy is gonna do everything that she can to become the main deputant. And it's like, girl, from left and right, is jealousy, is a terrible color on you because that green of the envy that you share.
La (21:08)
Yeah.
Chanelle (21:08)
But I
really want to know more about the Belleclaires and why do they have this animosity aside from saying that the Duprees always win, always come out on top. And speaking of coming out on top, Samantha went from not having an escort as a debutante to finally getting no other than Darnell. Darnell, who is Dr. Doug and Vamessa's son.
So not only do you get an escort, you get a college age escort as a senior. Well done, bravo. And even leading up to this, I have to laugh because Vanessa was on it. She was like, I might have someone in mind. You need an escort? I got you. And you have Nicole, like her eyes get big and it's like, ⁓ well maybe someone at school, something else. Samantha leaves the table. She's like, girl, you cannot pick my granddaughter up with an escort. She was like, I'm bad as a madam but I ain't that bad. She was like,
Darnell
LaTDa (22:10)
Yes, Vanessa was like, girl, give me some credit.
Chanelle (22:14)
It makes more sense. So I'm here for this. It brings him back. Hopefully he won't be completely focused on Vanessa and having been a man of the house. But this also ushers in eventually a lot of actresses have been posting that they're joining the cast of Beyond the Gates and doing stuff. We got Chessy Will we get Deanna soon? I'm waiting to see who comes out as the other twin who has been having such a hard time since Dr. Doug passed.
La (22:37)
Yes.
Correct.
Chanelle (22:44)
Just overall good week, well done. Beyond the gates. You got my attention. Even, look, even though you think that he's dull, Derek and his dates, I was semi-invested.
La(22:47)
Yes. Yes.
He was trying to get back out
there, but it's not helping because the new woman he was, I think her name is Tavia. She was all about the firehouse, which I think is kind of silly for him to ⁓ dabble in the same pool as the Sheryl lady worked at. So stop going for women at the firehouse. If you're upset that you can't be a firefighter anymore, then you need to go outside of your regular circle.
Cause every woman you end up with who works at the firehouse is going to talk about the job. I don't know how think he's going to dodge that.
Chanelle (23:31)
And I just think it's funny because apparently all these women you were working with at the firehouse had the hots for you when you had only eyes for Ashley. And I'm like, well, how many other women at this firehouse are raising their hands to try to date Derek? I want to know.
La (23:45)
They line it up. Alright, let's go to Genoa City Where? Unfortunately, I was right. Nicholas Newman has now dabbled into the opioid pool. This man cannot make a move without wincing. And he claims he'd be taking his pills, taking them too much, and he was out.
Chanelle (23:47)
Pretty much.
La (24:08)
and he can't get any more refills. And he was over at Crimson Lights trying to talk to Sharon and his son Noah. And they just see him in this tremendous amount of pain. And he's like, I think I have some more pills at home. I'll go get them and I'll go check on my dad because I haven't heard from him. And he leaves and of course he was fumbling in his pocket. Sharon catches him when she goes to get him some tea. And he's like, ⁓ you know, it's nothing. He takes whatever that opioid pill was and comes back cane in hand.
No more wincing and Noah and Sharon notice immediately they were like ⁓ You good cuz you were barely making it 20 minutes ago. yeah, I found a pill in my pocket I had an extra one my ticket working great But then he was talking fast twitchy and by the end of the conversation when he's going to look for his dad Noah and Sharon both notice his speech is a little off like a little slurry a little
just not like him. He's like, I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm like, my God, this man is already an addict. First hit, he's done.
Chanelle (25:19)
Yeah, the sweating, holding the cane. I was like, is this Willy Wonka? Is he about to, like, we just don't know. The leg still hurts. The fact that you have me agreeing with Noah where it's like, you haven't been back to the hospital or doctor. That's crazy. I'm like, well, when your son who left with his concussion can see that you are not in the best of shape, sir, maybe you should set up an appointment and stop just popping pills.
La (25:43)
Yeah, that's what kills me. It's like, the pain is that bad, you left too early, but why have you not gone back? Maybe you need another surgery. You're walking with a cane as opposed to the crutch. You walking all the time because even Sharon was like, maybe he needs to get off his feet for five minutes. No, every time you turn around, he's in Billy's face. He's in Phyllis's face. He's talking to his parents. sit your butt down for five seconds and rest.
Chanelle (26:11)
it's like the island of misfit toys. You have him limping around popping pills. Now we have Mariah home, but on house arrest. And technically, even with house arrest, we left her in the custody of Sharon who'd be out in these streets trying to defend her. It's weird across the board. I'm glad that Mariah's home though.
La (26:18)
Duh. Mm-hmm.
I died,
yes. And I'm not gonna lie, Abby and Devon are both like, if she is such a problem in her mind what is she doing walking around at all? She should be getting 24 hour care at a psychiatric facility, or put her butt in jail because we are not going to stay on the mansion.
premises and not go outside because we're concerned that we might run into Mariah. But she should be staying at the ranch at all times. She's on house arrest for a reason.
Chanelle (27:00)
Yeah, I mean, even to start it, maybe it wasn't the best idea to go over to their house, trying to apologize, maybe absolve yourself of some of the guilt. And it's also interesting to see because she got released on bail and then Cricket being like, ⁓ you know, this is just the first step. You, you know, you admitted that you were wrong.
but she goes into the whole entire spiel of what led to it. And we're like, girl, this is what we told you months ago to do. Tell somebody that you're seeing hallucinations of Ian. Tell somebody that you have been fighting and wrestling with the fact that you almost wanted to kill a man, but he didn't die though. Tell somebody that you, even with the Daniel thing, and when she finally spoke to Tessa.
La (27:34)
Yeah.
Yeah.
Chanelle (27:53)
and was like, how are you? Did Daniel do what I told him to do and take care of you? And like Tessa's eyes were a little bit like, like you didn't probably didn't tell me that Mariah was like, please keep my wife and child happy and safe. Like again, this was truly a week and finally a come to Jesus moment for Mariah. And I don't want them to completely put her on the back burner and say that she's just on house arrest over at the Newman ranch with Sharon.
But I need to see either her get help or do something else that it's like, okay, because Tessa I think is still gonna be going through with this divorce. Daniel's waiting in the wings, hoping that Tessa chooses him. And what's gonna happen to my girl? As an actress, you know how I feel about Camryn Her acting skills are on point. Sometimes you had me crying, sometimes you had me flinging stuff, but I still rooting for Mariah.
La (28:42)
Love from Camryn.
agreed. And then you have Billy. Nobody's rooting for him. Like literally nobody. Billy is all braggadocious, goes over to Chancellor, feels like he's back home. There's a box already that Nikki is setting up so she can move out. Of course he has to taunt her. Jack is there to defend her and he's, you know, I'm sorry you got caught in the crossfire, but it is what it is. Get out. But
Chanelle (28:55)
I ain't rooting for him.
La (29:20)
Victoria is a Newman through and through and she's like, okay, Billy boy. If we're going to play this game of you stealing my family's entire legacy, I'm going to steal yours. I'm sending the kids away. They're going back to boarding school. Don't.
you worry you won't be seeing them again until you give back what is properly ours. And he only reason he finds that is because the headmaster who apparently is in his pocket or should be questioned seriously because Victoria has primary custody of those children. She does not need permission from the father who is visitation only about sending them back to boarding school. So of course he's ticked off.
Chanelle (29:58)
Hehehe.
La (30:00)
He's like, you're taking away my kids, you're using them as a pawn, that's exactly what Victor would do. She was like, I don't care. I want the company back and if you're not gonna give it to me, you're never gonna see your kids again, so we have that. And she's also come up with a plan to try to get Summer and Daniel on board as allies to take down Phyllis. But so is Cane your favorite person.
He's trying to recruit Daniel to help him find Phyllis. We didn't even see him wake up. He was just up and trying to put out fires and try to find Phyllis. It would have been nice to see him finally wake up groggy, realizing that he was took by Phyllis, what he has to do next, but he was already in motion once this past week started.
Chanelle (30:51)
Again, Aristotle Dumas, genius. Cane Ashby, questionable. I just, the fact that Phyllis was even able to do this before going on the run or wherever the heck she is, is still baffling. The fact that he can't even prove whether or not Victor really has Lily and the twins, crazy. And when it comes to like Amanda and his team of people,
La (30:57)
Idiot.
Chanelle (31:19)
Where are they? Like, I just need him to have somebody else in his corner. He sulks around Genoa City. He tries to make deals. He leads with emotion and not with intelligence or strategy. My boy, I just wonder about Cane. And I also am trying to figure out is he truly needed? Because without my beef and gripes,
is with Phyllis and Billy. What use to me are you if you don't bring back the company to get and get Lily and them back? And we know there's still going to be a good two to three months because the actress is on maternity leave. So it's going to be a while before we see proof of life. And Cane just does not seem to have the look. He doesn't have the train secure. He doesn't have his company secure. He doesn't have the AI secure.
La (32:03)
Right.
Chanelle (32:19)
What help are you to me?
La (32:21)
How have you gotten this far? It's questionable at best. But also another one who's questionable and getting on your last nerves, a little lady by the name of Claire.
Chanelle (32:30)
Uhhh... I was rooting for you. We were all rooting for you!
La (32:34)
I was never, never
couldn't stand her from jump. So now she has become so unrealistic. I wanna be with you Holden maybe, well, actually I don't wanna be with anybody. I wanna be by myself, but I'm still sleeping with you from time to time. But.
Chanelle (32:39)
again.
La (32:55)
I'm going to go on this Scooby-Doo excursion with you in LA while you're looking for Lily. I'm going to try to investigate what you and Audra really did so I can find out the truth. She finally gets called out by Holden. He's like, you didn't really want to just come with me to hang with me. You are on a mission. Why can't you just accept what I told you? And she's like, because you're lying to me. And until you tell me every single solitary detail of what you and Audra did to that art dealer who has vanished, by the way, because I've been doing my research
I can't be with a man that won't tell me the whole truth. I'm like, did you tell him step by step what you did to the
Newman? You know every inch of that?
Chanelle (33:37)
Again, I was willing to forgive her and blame everything on her aunt, but it's like, Claire, you're not moving with strategy, intention, or sensibility. And at the end of the day, what does this matter to you? You don't want to have him as your boyfriend, but you've said she've already slept with him. That's when you should have been questioning.
La (33:56)
True.
Yep.
Right,
where was that energy before you hit the sheets?
Chanelle (34:07)
It's like she finally tested it out and then had like some sort of come to Jesus moment again, where it's like why of the awakening that you're like, maybe I should know about his past. Some people jump into relationships and never asking about the past. Apparently she wants to not only know, but told word for word and she wants to be able to believe it herself. And then going back to LA, you know, Holden was like, we were supposed to be go hiking and all this other stuff. And then he's like, I feel like you came just to
dig up dirt on Audrey. She's basically like, yup. That's all I came for. Yup. And then even to be like, yeah, because she was like, oh, my family's going through stuff. Sis, your family was going through stuff before you left Genoa City, like you have no job now. You were in LA before, didn't have the job. Now you definitely don't have a job. What are you good for?
La (34:40)
Yeah
Yep, wasn't for you, wasn't the company.
Not a thing, not good for anything. And now another jobless human being, Audra, is now co-CEO of Abbott slash Newman Communications, which will have a new name, the Spectra, yeah, the Spectra Charles Communications, because Billy and Sally are done, because Sally, she said it best. I want you to have everything, Billy. And you want everything, but me,
Chanelle (35:15)
Spectre Charles, yeah.
La (35:31)
just me as opposed to Chancellor was not enough for you and that's sad. And because of that, I can't stay with you. So she quits Billy. he quit Abbott communication. So she doesn't want to run it alone. She wants Audra to have a job. So she wants her to be her co-CEO.
Chanelle (35:47)
Yeah, I mean, with that, she also finally told Jill and Jill is like, you know, you like it, I love it. I'm a trust you on this. So she really went to bat for Audra. And that's again, when I say when it comes to the soaps, having friendships outside of just your family or your man as I'll say interesting as those two can be with their moments, they have a true friendship. Unlike somewhere where you have
Sharon and Phyllis and they're like, weren't you guys good on good terms? No. I say, once you sleep with my man, I don't know if we're going to be besties, you know, cause that even goes with her and Chelsea. Like when it comes to the men fighting and Newman versus Abbott, they're cordial enough, but you'll never be truly my bestie with that because you took my man.
La(36:39)
⁓
These people. All right. Now let's head on to Port Charles. We're at General Hospital. We got Wiley Clutch. I love that little boy. You cannot do sneaky things in front of a child because they are better than any WSB spy. They miss nothing. And because Wiley saw the week before that Chase
Chanelle (37:02)
Yeah
La (37:07)
was messing with his father's keys and placing them on the ground. Michael was gonna take Wiley and Amelia, to see their mother finally. They're gonna go to not Drew's house, Willow says it's her house now. Sad state of affairs. So for this visitation, before they were about to leave, Michael gets a call from Nathan. I need you to come down to the police station to answer some questions again.
Chanelle (37:15)
Amelia.
La (37:35)
And Michael's like, good God, what now? So remember the week before, Michael gave up his keys and any fool knows that the son of Sonny Corinthos isn't going to give up evidence that will incriminate him. So why would he give the keys that have Drew's house keys on them to the police? That's just ridiculous. But that's what they wanted to talk to him about. Rick was there.
Luckily, and he was like, I'll take the kids to Willow's. You go answer those questions or see what they want. Don't answer any questions. And Diane apparently is not available. She's all up in court. Michael calls Rick. Rick is like, I got you. So they're about to leave Wiley and Amelia with Rick. And Wiley is like, my dad in trouble again? And he's like, no, no, no. They just want to talk to him about some keys they found.
And out of Wiley's mouth is, you mean the keys that ⁓ Uncle Chase had. And he was like, I'm sorry, what?
Chanelle (38:37)
Say that again.
La (38:38)
Yes, say
it slow and steady. So Rick hits this information, calls Michael immediately. He was like, I am on my way and I got some tea for you. So they go to the interrogation room. Nathan is like, Maxie is home. I would like to go see her. Can we wrap this up? Michael's like, I don't know where them keys came from. My keys are my keys, but why would I ever have a key to Drew's house? I don't ever want to see that man anywhere, more or less his home. And Nathan's like, well, you know.
That gives you access everybody knows you hated him. You probably wanted to shoot him. Now we know you had a key and Rick is like, slow down there, champ. We don't know who put those keys on Michael's set of keys, but I think I have an idea of who did it. Could you get the assistant ⁓ district attorney up in here, And Nathan's like, fine, I'll go see Maxie. You handle this. She comes in and he's like, heads up.
Chanelle (39:26)
88.
La(39:35)
I think I know how he ended up on Michael's keys. It was your boy Chase doing dirt. And my gosh, I'm counting down the seconds when Chase has to eat crow, Dante has to feel like dirt again, not believing or being a good big brother to his brother, Michael. I just can't wait for everybody to see that Michael was telling the truth. He never had any.
physical intentions of hurting Drew. And Willow is the worst person in the world.
Chanelle (40:08)
I am weighted with popcorn ready because I'll give Dante a little bit of credit because even him and Nathan were like, if you're gonna shoot Drew, that's one thing. If you're gonna use the key, that's another. But to put the key that you use to open his door and shoot him on your key ring and not take it off, that's suspicious.
La (40:30)
and voluntarily
get it to the police. Who does that? No criminal would do that.
Chanelle (40:35)
which makes this even sweeter because now that they have Chase and then Chase is going to have to be like, ⁓ I didn't do it, but I found the keys and I checked them. And it's also going to show because Chase was the reason that Nathan even asked for the keys because he went there and was like, I don't know if you all did, you know, the most in-depth search of Michael stuff. Did you check his keys? Maybe again. So
La (40:52)
That's correct. You're right.
Chanelle (41:04)
the line of questioning, you were told to stay out of it. Sir, your world is about to crumble even more because this will not only interrupt your family life and living situation because they've already told you to drop it. If you're a quarter main, you're a quarter main. We protect the family, bada bing, bada boo, whatever. Then it was the fact that you had Brook Lyn finally agree to allow the adoption to move forward. So he's riding on cloud nine.
thinking that everything is sweet and now it will be tumbling down because you have to admit that you are still doing the police detective work that they told you to stop. You about to lose your job.
La (41:38)
It will.
And rightfully so. You deserve not just to lose your job. I want him on the Port Charles. I'm sorry Brook Lyn There's gotta be somebody better. This man is constantly disrespecting your family, disrespecting you and your wishes. And for what? Willow would never once do that for you. She would never put her life or her kids or anything on the line for Chase. So I can't for the life of me see why he is so comfortable doing it for her.
Chanelle (42:18)
And she's gonna have to play dumb because she knows that the key is on the key ring because she put it there. And now because of him and his overzealousness, she's gonna have to be like, well, Chase does help me. ⁓ no, I thought it was Michael. Nope, chain of evidence has been tampered with.
La (42:25)
Right.
So sad. But he brought it on himself.
Chanelle (42:45)
And another one who brought it on himself Drew I know Cameron Mathison at this point He is blinking and acting and blinking like his life depends on it. my goodness, so
La (42:55)
His eyes must be so dry. So, Alexis
comes over and is, checking on him and checking about the Scout situation because, Willow is like, her dad misses her, but Alexis is like, this little girl. She's been so traumatized by everything in the past year. Lost her mama, now her dad almost died, now he paralyzed, and it's too much.
So we're gonna have to simmer on this and see when and how we're gonna be able to bring Her over to see him, especially since he can't communicate. Well, he can't communicate verbally, but his eyes don't lie. He was with Alexis alone because Willow got a call from Elizabeth who brought over some of Aiden's famous baked goods for the party that she was gonna have for Amelia and Wiley. So she leaves the room for a second.
and he is blinking like we can't even tell it wasn't even Morse code it was just blink blink blink blink and Alexis is like I don't know what you trying to tell me because Willow said one for yes two for no you done blink 75 times what am supposed to do that it wasn't even Morse code it's just like help ⁓ then Alexis silly self knowing that she knows the truth about what Willow did to him she literally goes and tells Willow
by the by, he seemed upset like he was trying to tell me something. You know Willow's capabilities. Why are you giving her any information to try to kill this man for sure?
Chanelle (44:24)
That's true. I mean, I'm hoping that Alexis is just playing the long game because in Drew's incapacitated state, Laura has asked Alexis to think about filling his congressional seat. And so with this comes another rivalry of Alexis versus Willow because knowing how Sidwell moves, he wants Willow to fill Drew's seat.
so that he can continue his nefarious plans. And she's like, you know what? I just might and love a mama. But Nina was like, I believe in you and I will back you with my money and aspirational goals. But I'm like, if I'm Alexis I would say, you know what? If you want the seat, you can have it, but I feel I'm better suited and raise your hand if you have shot your partner and it actually just got cleared of.
Attempted murder. Oh Why are you raising your hand? I know you did it That's all you need so at this point I feel like Alexis will be going to Washington if she wants to and it also doesn't make sense Even though I think Willow was flattered because you fought so hard for joint custody Where you gonna go with your 40 % if you're trying to go to DC? That's stupid
La (45:23)
Yeah
Well, you can't take the kids
with you because you only have 40%. Michael has the majority custody, and he's not gonna allow you to take your kids to Washington?
Chanelle (45:45)
That's true.
So again, she was excited for like a moment, but it's like, I don't think she thought all the way through.
La (45:56)
⁓ she never does. But that's funny. Like, let me just tell you what I know and you see if you still want to run.
Chanelle (46:05)
That's really what it is. And again, we're getting a lot more of the information of Port Charles. I know we're going to talk about Maxie, but even Friday's episode, I have to just break in and talk about the standalone episode, finally getting to honor Luke and Gary after his passing. And I thought it was really just going to be kind of more of a sit down flashbacks, memories thing, but they did it where the characters still
as remembering Luke, but living their lives and having moments where he was just brought up, which was interesting to me. I enjoyed it.
La (46:41)
Yes, I thought
they did a good job. Like you said, I thought the same thing, that they were just gonna do a special episode of just the real actor speaking about how Tony Geary really affected their lives as an actor and as part of the show and how historic it was. But instead they incorporated it into everyday Port Charles life. And I can't handle when Ms. Tracy is upset. So of course I got a little weepy, but
I think the way that they incorporated the fact that Lulu was in a coma and missed the death of her father and didn't get to properly grieve when she found that cute picture of him that had fallen near one of her shelves. And then that was the domino effect of all other people, Sonny Tracy, Carly, Elizabeth remembering Luke and all his antics and all of his triumphs and all of his failures.
I thought it was intertwined well and I thought it was a very decent dedication to a prominent soap opera actor. He will.
Chanelle (47:42)
he will be missed. And
again, when she was reminiscing about her own coma, we got to go with Maxie and her waking up and her finally getting to come home.
La(47:54)
Maxie is up and running, she comes home, but Lulu is trying to deal with her feelings for Nathan, who is Maxie's supposed dead husband who is alive and well. And Nathan is dealing with his feelings for Lulu, Maxie's best friend. Brook Lyn gives Lulu the eye when she does finally show up for the party. She's like, you better not, you better don't tell the girl nothing. Y'all kissed once, don't take it no further.
we got to see what Maxie wants to do. I think she's going to end up with Spinelli is what Brook Lyn believes as well. But if he doesn't measure up and she wants to try again with Nathan now that she knows he's alive, because they met up at his of all places, tombstone. They both go to the graveyard. Can you imagine going to the graveyard and look at your own tombstone and your wife comes up and is like, what in the world?
Chanelle (48:39)
that he was reminiscent too.
So he was cleaning it off and everything.
La (48:49)
He was like, y'all
ain't got this taken care of.
Chanelle (48:52)
It's like, disrespect, I tell you.
La (48:54)
⁓ my God.
But yeah, so it's just, it's all about decision-making. Will Lulu not allow her guilt to succumb to her and tell Maxie, hey, I have feelings for your now resurfaced husband, or is she gonna bite the bullet and just deal with it? And then Maxie has to decide she has built a life almost 10 years now with Spinelli.
Is Spinelli still what I want or do I want to see how Nathan and I can do? I don't think it's even worth trying. You don't know that man. The DNA and stuff may match, but you don't know him no more. You know Spinelli, stick with Spinelli.
Chanelle (49:32)
That's true.
I mean, was till death do you part and technically you thought he was dead. So I wouldn't fault you for just kind of living your life, but co-parenting.
La (49:38)
Right, no. Y'all can co-parent,
but you don't need to be with him.
Chanelle (49:45)
Agreed.
La (49:46)
Lucas reveals to Marco that he knows everything. The dumbest move you can make. If you know somebody evil, and you know somebody has potential to hurt you, don't tell him you know the whole plan, He told everything he'd heard, all the stuff that he knows that Marco is trying to do to Sonny. How they're holding Brit against her will to do what they need to do. The only thing he doesn't know is what is being done.
And Marco was like, I'm sorry, I love you, I'm sorry. it just got out of hand, but Sonny took my mama ⁓ and Lucas is like, I don't care what Sonny did. I am not a fan of Sonny, but you can't take a life for a life. It's just not a thing. Okay, I'll do better. I'll do better for you. I'll change my ways for you. And Lucas tells Elizabeth and he apologizes to Carly.
And Carly's like, you can't continue like this. And he's like, he's gonna make things right for me. And Carly's like, don't like this plan at all. Pascal knows, Sidwell knows, that Lucas knows, I still feel he has a target on his back. And any moment he could be snatched or maybe he could end up in a coma like Maxie was.
Chanelle (51:01)
Yeah, because Sidwell already said he's willing to kill him if necessary and it's it's like as a big sister I really was just like I know Carly had to just play it safe, but you know in her mind just like I
was right. I was right. I already knew it, but I needed you to know I was right. Like it really, like I give her credit. ⁓ you have to send that to your siblings every so often. I was right. And so I just had to end on that one because again, when you have such a sanctimonious character, whether it's a Lucas or whether it's Chase.
La (51:23)
Imagine having a song. my God.
Chanelle (51:41)
When the realization hits them, the fallout is usually so much sweeter because you should have listened to the people.
La (51:45)
It is.
Yes. Well, especially when the viewers and everybody in town is like, please don't don't do this. Whatever you do, don't do this. And they do it. And then it blows up in their face. ⁓ good. It's. All right. Now, last and definitely least. Bold and the Beautiful spent all week messing with Mr. Eric like we freaking knew it. I was right.
Chanelle (51:59)
Tastes like victory.
I was right.
La (52:14)
The problem is when he was with Forrester, it wasn't always just him, especially now. And I didn't realize how old he is. He's supposedly 80 on the show. You cannot have an 80 year old man putting together from ground zero, a brand new fashion house and the whole collection on his own. That's too much for any spry person. Sir, you are 80.
Why are you trying to pull this off? You talked a good game, but you oversold your hand. And now he got problems breathing. He's having anxiety. He's got the whole Forrester living room mansion filled with drawings and easels. And he's just trying to go a mile a minute and he cannot keep up like that. He needs help. And...
Unfortunately, Bill is a businessman before anything else. And Bill Spencer was like, we have a deadline. You better get to that deadline. Meanwhile, he cut in corners, getting the cheap material. And Eric is pointing out what I've designed does not handle well with polyester or polyblends. I need the silky silk from Milan. And Bill is like, that is not cheapy cheap. And it's going to take 10 months to get and you have to.
10 minutes to get everything on the runway. So get it done or we gonna find somebody else, which they couldn't because who's gonna mess with a brand new fashion house
Chanelle (53:43)
Well, and that's the thing. I'm like, why are you having Eric Forrester of all, people trying to recreate Temu fashion? When I said I pointed Forrester against fast fashion, I wasn't thinking it was going to be made by the House of Logan. I really am surprised that Katie didn't see the issue with having just Eric be the one designing. that's what I thought she was reaching out to Deke for initially, where he might not have been your lead designer. He could have at least been grabbing coffee.
and helping sketch or something like this is crazy.
La (54:17)
Most definitely. But what makes it even funnier is that she realizes that this might be too much for him. you know, trying to talk Bill down, you really don't know how the fashion world works. Well, obviously you don't, madam, because you are allowing Bill to take the reins from you, from your own fashion house, and push Eric to the limit. It's too much. And what made it even funnier is that Ridge and Brooke go over to Eric's house.
Chanelle (54:30)
Do you? Do you?
La (54:46)
after they've tried to contact him, at least Ridge has, and he won't respond. And he sees all these beautiful drawings, everything looks great. And honestly, we could have avoided all this retirement BS if Eric had shown Ridge, hey, I don't want to do it every day, but I do have some stuff that I want to include in Couture. Because Ridge sees all this stuff, he's like, you're supposed to be retired. Your doctor's saying you're stressed, and you have a whole collection here in the living room. Why can't we?
have you come back part-time and you rock some of this stuff. We need this in couture, it's perfection. what made it even more sinister is that he was like, you need that Milan silk for this one. And you can just see Eric's eyes light up. Like he's like, you get it because Bill is not a fashion guru like the Forresters are. Why would he think that you need this most silkiest silks from overseas? He's like, just put a dress on.
Chanelle (55:31)
My boy.
La (55:40)
All he does is call the Forresters dressmakers, which shows that he does not respect what they do, even though he has his magazine Eye on Fashion. But Eric is so beside himself because he really wants to come back to Forrester, but his pride won't let him. So of course, Ridge is just raving about all his sketches. He did such a great job. Please come back, Dad. And that's when the Logans come in, Katie and Bill, the Spencers, I'm sorry. And it's like...
We came to check on you. Donna wasn't answering and then it all blows up. Bridge find out that Eric is working for the Spencers. Of course, they're disgusted. Brooke is pissed that Donna and Katie kept this from her and in all the confusion and all the chaos, he hasn't attacked Eric. And so they call the ambulance. I think it was just a panic attack. But now what happens?
Or is he gonna continue? Because he obviously has finally realized thanks to Donna, he can't pull this off alone. And Logan need somebody who can do the job. And I think it's too late now because Bill was fielding calls about when the premiere is supposed to happen for the line. They're coming up. I don't know how they're gonna be able to.
get something on the runway without Eric, but if he's trying to back out, he's leaving everybody in the lurch.
Chanelle (57:03)
It will be fast fashion at best. They need to go ahead and call Deke.
La (57:08)
Yes.
Chanelle (57:09)
Or
she's gonna have to fall on the sword and say, well, I love the idea of the fashion house and of Logan. I can't do it alone. it's one of the two options. because like Brooke said, you already took my name. Technically it's both of their names. However, you took the name, you took Eric from us.
What more do you need to say that you really can't do it alone because you keep telling that you're doing this by yourself, but using all of your Forrester resources to do it. Like you can't say that.
La (57:38)
Yes, everything that you're trying to do on your
own is Forrester. So you might as well let them buy you out and be a subsidiary of Forrester Creations.
Chanelle (57:48)
And if that's not the case and you are just so adamant about doing House of Logan then you're gonna need to do something completely different. Like why would you even put yourself to try to compete directly with Forrester? Because as Ridge said, we could have been churning out all this fashion. He's like, I didn't know, dad, I'm apologized. I came about the wrong way. But your house, he's acting like he wasn't shaking when he was picking up pencils.
and sketching before. Eric acts like he wasn't hospitalized thinking that he was on death's door and that they were just kicking him out because he's old. And again, Ridge has not told him that that one fashion challenge that they had, Ridge technically won. So it's like all of this is accumulating just to the point of Eric wants to come back, but he's too proud. Bridge found a way, because he was like, even if it was to mentor some of the younger designers,
La (58:31)
We never won. Nope.
Chanelle (58:46)
like Eric could have found a place. They just didn't want him showing up every day. And I'm glad that it's finally out because Liam we know can hardly hold a secret. he was signed to NDA, told us that I got you. And by the time that Hope pops up, which is again, crazy to me that you work for the competition and you just walking through the door, looking at the sketches on the desk and being like, this is great to...
La (58:55)
you
Chanelle (59:13)
Liam being like, it's Eric it's Eric, ⁓ Forrester, Forrester original.
La (59:13)
Well, not just this is great, this reminds me of a fullster. So obviously,
what did I say? Eric has been doing this so long, he has a signature look. Unless you're gonna come up with a completely new signature look, which you're 80, it's ingrained in you. You have a specific style that you like. He can't just turn it. Deke probably could because he's fresh. But when you've been doing the couture and the flowy and the...
and the glam all your life, it's hard to turn that off. So the fact that Hope saw two sketches and was like, this reminds me of Forrester. That's what everybody else is gonna say when a Logan fashion house show happens. They're all gonna be like, that reminds me of the Forrester Creations
Chanelle Oliver (1:00:01)
I also have to shout out just the fact that even through all of this, the only other storyline we did have was Will, Electra, Dylan. I'll make it a square instead of a triangle, because Ivy has been brought up in so much of the talk that I was like, we went from forgetting that she was even at Forrester to Big Bad Aunt Ivy.
being the reason for this breakup that will eventually happen. Right now, they're technically on a break. Friday's episode was interrupted, but if you got to see it on demand, you realize that Will is beside himself. He just can't believe that Electra would walk out and basically say, it's either me or Dylan, and sir, in your non-choice, you made a choice because you said that you could not put Dylan on the street.
Apparently you feel like if it's not her car, if it's not your home, you can't put her in hotel and you can't put her at anyone else's home. So he kind of let Electra stew in her anger a little bit overnight. She wakes up, she goes to work. He's at home again, gun to head, tell me what Will does at Forrester Creations. You probably can't. So he really just is there.
Dylan walking around, still no job. You ain't even walking with your laptop trying to get a job at this point. You're a kept princess because Will is your prince.
LaTDa (1:01:23)
Here's the thing,
you do have a job. You should have your butt at the pizza place.
Chanelle (1:01:28)
You would think so, you was, gotta go, gotta wake up early. Can't dilly-dattle at, instead she was like, do want me to make you breakfast? Do you need something? I just can't believe that Electra would, would go out and it's like, that's not who I am. That's not my nature. And I get it. Did Electra overreact? It depends on your level of it. It's not the level of going crazy because your boyfriend liked the picture, but she told him how uncomfortable she was with Dylan staying there. She told him that.
He did not explain the situation to her of seeing Dylan in a bikini and catching her while she was dancing doing ballet, but she tripped. And I get where her anger could be justifiable. It's just the fact that he feels because she listened to Ivy without a picture, video, or any other proof except a word that it was improper that
She's making this decision. And if the woman that you claim to have loved since the beginning of time is telling you that she's uncomfortable and wants you to leave this woman, did you miss Dylan? You got to go. Adios. Miss Dylan. Like, I really don't know what else to say because now the setup is he comes to Electra and tries to plead his case comes with no flowers, no food, no ring, no nothing. And then she's like, is Dylan gone? No. Then why are we having this conversation?
You are still on a break, sir. You're lucky she has completely broken up with you just yet. Snatched your chain that she got you. It snatched the chain. I'm talking ATL style, TI. And then it goes into, now you have Ivy plotting in the background because she overhears Will bad mouthing her. You already know that she's so invested in her niece's relationship. ⁓ And from the previews
LaTDa (1:03:01)
Not a J. Yes. ⁓
Chanelle Oliver (1:03:23)
RJ somehow kisses Electra. Don't know how we get there yet. I will fill you in next week, but we see this kiss. We see Ivy doing something that she's not supposed to be doing and Daphne sees her. there is going to be hell to pay and at the end of the day, I have to ask Will, is this worth it? Is it worth it? I would say no.
La (1:03:46)
All I'm gonna say
is you go with your partner. If I have a best friend and that best friend has betrayed me in some way, shape or fashion, when I walk away from them, you walk away from them, my partner. When I break up with them, we all break up. So if...
Dylan, the best friend is no longer Electra's best friend. Will, that's your cue to syscadu. That is no longer your best friend at all. You don't need to be anywhere near that girl, but you're hell bent on proving that you're a good person only you're gonna end up alone or with Dylan like everybody thought you would. You're going to vilify the fears that Electra had. So get ready, my guy. It's gonna be ugly.
Chanelle (1:04:36)
Yep, and you most likely be at House of Logan because why would you want to work with your ex, especially if you see her kissing RJ, who again is your cousin? It's gonna be interesting. So, Bold and Beautiful, you got my attention.
