Set a new season high in Key Demos. Women 18 through 49 and women 25 through 54 mark the season highs for them in season two. So I'm here for this.

And for the other soaps, again, this is going to be an interesting daytime award season for prime time daytime Emmys.

I mean, I really feel like what this storyline, not only just raising awareness, it's this idea of the sisterhood that connects them all. She also had an interaction with Shanice's aunt, who's an oncologist, Dr. McCormick, and being able to say what she has done for increasing just not only donations and raising awareness, but having people take action to get checked on Beyond the Gates. Speaking of Shanice's oncologist aunt, she wanted to know a little bit more about the man that's dating her niece. So while she was at the hospital, she spoke to Ms. Anita, but then she wanted to have a tete-a-tete with Ted. And she came in. She was like, you are divorced, but it's kind of hard to stay away from your ex-wife when she works there. And I just want to make sure there's no messiness when it comes to my niece. And...

you know, you are in that vanity field of plastic surgery. And he had to explain, I don't just make people look cute. I reconstruct problems that they've had and I give them self-esteem. So you can, you know, look down upon it, but it is a reasonable and you know, it's a good profession. So my intentions are not to hurt Shanice back off. And she was like, okay, you might do okay at the next family function.

True, and the fact that we found out that Shanice has sisters. Like, the little bit of interaction that we had with her aunt in real life, she's like, oh, if you can get past me, you know, I can vouch for you with the family. Now, her sisters! I was like, how many sisters does Shanice have? Is Shanice, like, the oldest? Is she the youngest? Is she the one? I mean, we know when Shanice gets to her moment, she can take on Leslie and she's running that hospital.

But I definitely want to see more of the family dynamics. And this is what we're talking about when it comes to the other secondary characters. I want to know about Mona. I want to know about Jan. Like, I want to know these people beyond that. Because while we have the elites behind the gates and Fairmont Crest, what's happening around the rest of the DMV and everywhere else? What's happening at the hospital? We called it.

And it's like, wait a minute, this isn't.

You're his, you're the boss of the hospital. You don't have time to care about what he's doing outside of his office hours, but

And I mean, we also see another interaction she has at the hospital with Derek because Derek comes to the hospital because the clinic, they're trying to get it up and running and getting the press for it. And he wants to partner with the hospital and let them know that once they're up and running, if any of the underprivileged or

And at first she was very dismissive of Derek and it's like, you know, talk to our people, go through the proper channels. This is, you know what you do deserve to have the awareness, you know, upped for this hospital and clinic partnership. In fact,

We had Chase and Brook Lynn go on a date.

They're about to go to a wine bar when they see a person on the ground. They run over. It happens to be a pregnant woman unconscious. They're able to wake her up and she's like, it must be my little blood sugar. And as soon as she stands up and they were gonna call an ambulance, she's like, no, no, no. And Chase is like, well, at least let me take you so you can get checked out. And so let's walk to my car.

Brook Lynn and Chase take one step and this woman doubles over and grabs her belly and is like, So they were able to get her to Genoa Hospital and Brit jumps in along with Lucas and Elizabeth and it is determined that she did not damage the ambiotic sac, but there is internal bleeding going on around it. They try to save her, her name was Delilah.

She did not make it, but the child did two months early. And of course, Brook Lynn is beside herself. She was like, I told her she'd be okay, and now she dead. And Lucas is like, well, at least you got her here. So the baby's alive, so that's something. And coincidentally, Chase and Brook Lynn have just decided to go full steam ahead with adopting a child. How much you wanna bet that that child that was just born is gonna be their foster child at least? I think...
