Welcome to another installment of Lather Up with La and Chanelle. All right. Got a little bit of update news. Jonathan Bennett, better known as Aaron Samuels from Mean Girls. Will be joining General Hospital this Monday.

But we were under the impression that he was coming as a doctor, possibly to help Jordan with her transition after being burned in that car accident. But apparently he's gonna be wielding a badge? Yeah, they're saying right now first glimpse of Detective Joe Fitzpatrick, who makes an arrest at the Metro Court Hotel. We'll explain why. All right, but this week we got to start off with the surprise of Bold and the Beautiful and a decision has been made. Brooke demanded that she be the new co-CEO. Ridge, her husband, her destiny needs to oust his daughter. You don't have to get rid of her, just get her a different title because it's my time to shine and

I need to be by your side making decisions like bringing back Hope for the Future and making sure that my daughter shines while your daughter does what I say. Okay, go handle that. Still don't believe she made it. Maybe she suggested it. And there's always Brooke's Bedroom. So obviously I am the prime candidate to lead this company like your mother and father did. Ridge says, I love you and I do anything for you, but I'm not getting rid of my daughter. Thank you, Lord. Yes, thank you. oh, thank you Jesus.

And Steffy she pulled the heart strings, but she made valid points.

Stephanie Forrester did not run the company with her husband. She was the backbone and financial presence, but she did not make decisions when it came to the fashion industry like that. And the fact that Brooke was like, I want to be like Stephanie and Eric were. You're lying to yourself and you're lying at Ridge. Look, Steffy was like, I'll even let her be the matriarch of the Forrester family.

I mean, Donna is, bless her heart, not prepared for that. But she was like, I'll let Brooke do it. But when it comes to what's going on to the day-to-day business aspects, like Janet Jackson, what has she done for me lately? Not a thing. I did not have faith in Ridge. And I still am on edge because you know how Brooke is. She might just whittle him down and he just falters. But for the moment, I am very proud of him.

and thankful that he listened to his daughter and realizes that Brooke is just being played. Hope is a master manipulator. Like I have never seen anything like it. And the fact that these people just fall under her doesn't make sense. First Carter, now her mom. And the fact that Brooke said, Katie's now in charge of a company, so I need to be in charge of a company. And the fact that-

If I'm in charge, then I don't have to answer to Steffy and we can put Hope for the Future back in the forefront where it belongs. No, absolutely not. That's not how we run a business. They always talking about how Steffy is so emotional. The Logans live on emotion. Katie left because she felt something got away. Hope is crying and whining because she feels some kind of way. And now Brooke gives the, I love you, Ridge. But I am very disappointed.

You're leading with your feelings. The one thing you can say about Steffy, she is facts and figures driven. And if you really wanted to sell Ridge and the audience about how profound your contributions have been to Forrester, where were the facts and figures? you should have had paperwork. Hey, let me show you when Belief formula came out and how it's still steady. Hey, let me show you how Brooke's bedroom is still.

a top seller, like you should have shown me a presentation. Instead you put on a negligee, made some charcuterie, was like, give it to me. Like just give it to me, cause I said so. Heck, even Katie has been CEO at one point. You've been CEO at one point. And why didn't you ask for any percentage then? Like she wants to have something, what did she Concrete to have her own and create a legacy and blah, blah, Well, she gave her old shares to Bill, who went part, took over the company, gave it to Katie, and then had the audacity be like.

Well, you know, the only reason that Steffy has those shares is because she seduced Bill. Show did, show did, by any means necessary. And I know we ain't talking, Miss Always on her back. You have literally slept with every Forrester man that you did not create. RJ, glad at least that's your mother. Yes, because otherwise she would have put it on you too. Like she's, all you've done is slept for success and for Hope to talk smack about Steffy.

knowing that she would not even be in the fashion industry if it wasn't for her mother sleeping her way to the top. And let's not forget about the coup, man. The coup. Can we get a full 12 months to recovery from that? For you to be like, it happened, okay, I gave it back. You didn't give it back, Carter gave it back. Out of guilt and love for the Forresters, like you claim to be. There needs to be a new reign. There needs to be a new queen.

We shouldn't have to answer to Steffy. You don't. Get your stuff and go. It was also just the fact of the matter of while Ridge and Steffy are having this whole discussion about co-CEOs in the office at Forrester Creations, meanwhile across town, you have Brooke and Hope at home, not working, but discussing the possibility of Steffy stepping down.

Flabbers were gassed, okay? And of course, Hope goes to Spencer, which as you pointed out, is insider information. They keep exchanging information that they should not be telling each other. Especially now that Logan exists, anything that's happening to Forrester, you should not be telling your husband. Yeah, where's the NDA? Right! And Liam, keep fueling the fire. ⁓ you just need to get out of there. It's so toxic. You need to be with family.

All the Forresters care about is family. How can you say that she needs to be at Spencer because she would be treated better because she's family and then chastise the Forresters for doing the same thing you want to do? Like it's insane. Like the first mother of your child isn't Steffy who took care of you when you thought you were dying. Yes. I at least give it to Bill because Bill was like, now what's going on? We going to do what now? Like Steffy going to do what to? She ain't leaving.

Thank goodness. All right. Now we go to General Hospital. Port Charles. There's some damage going on in that town in New York.

So we have Brennan in the hospital. It does not look good. He has what looks to be a stroke, but it really was, he got a dose of the Drew medication and is now incapacitated. They don't know if he gonna live, cause they really don't know what he's been given. Nina is pacing in the hospital convinced she done killed him.

which she pretty much did. Willow is going to Sidwell. Look, what had happened was somehow Brennan got a hold of Drew's medication

and he's in the hospital and he could die, okay? and Drew didn't get his dose. And Sidwell is like, you had one job, do as I say, just do what I ask. Now you telling me that Drew didn't get his medication? She's like, well maybe we should just stop giving it to him. He was like, do you think that this man ain't gonna go tell everybody he know what you've done? We can't do that. She was like, well, it was supposed to only be temporary anyway. Right, it was never supposed to be his lifetime commitment.

Questions, questions. ⁓ my gosh. It is craziness. Then you have your favorite spy still stuck. Again, at this point, what is Joss's purpose? She's sitting there playing cards with Cassius. She's pretending to, I guess, develop some sort of friendship while gaining all this information. And on top of all this, we just have to make sure she's not killed.

Yes, because she knows everything. She knows who Cassius is. She knows what Cullum is up to. She knows Valentin is alive. She knows too much. Danny has learned information about his father that it was most likely Sidwell that had something to do with him being sent away. Cause he overheard a conversation with Sonny and he's like, I'm going to Spoon Island, and I'm going to find out information. And Charlotte knows that area. So she's going to come with me. And Rocco went nuts. He screamed at them.

y'all gonna get yourself killed. You don't understand how dangerous Cullum is. This is ridiculous. I'm not gonna have it. I'm not letting you do it. And of course, Danny is like, you can't stop me. I'm going to figure out where my father is and I can do it with or without you. And Rocco said then it's gonna be without me and Charlotte. I'm not letting her get involved in this. Now I'm gonna take my sister. Right, but of course, Charlotte is into Danny. So she's like, I'm going to help him. He needs me.

He was like, screw you both. And he left. I'm not taking this anymore. Right, he left and then of course he realizes his outburst makes no sense. So he goes to Bobbie's where Britt is staying and is in the fetal position outside her door just beside himself. She brings him in, he's like.

I just went off of my cousin and my sister and they don't know why, but I know why, but I can't talk to anybody. You're all I've got." And she's like, I just told to your mama and promised that I would stay away from you. She's trying so hard to and through it all, now that Dante knows. Yes, that It's one of those things where it's like you want to root for the family coming together.

but they're still making the wrong decisions constantly. This is where you have to agree with Cassius, AKA Nathan, where it's like, you need to send that boy away. He gotta be out of the line of fire, because he's going to tell the wrong person. Cracking at every corner, and while we're dealing with all of this, you have so many other things, because now that Dante does know, we have misplaced, even though we know where it is, evidence.

because Cullum is on the loose. He is on the loose. And it's like, if you all were trying to keep this big secret and the fact that Dante knows, it's only a matter of time that Cullum knows because Cullum knows that Jason was standing in front of him when he was shot in the back. But I think he's on the wrong path because while he's confronting Carly at her house, he's looking very hard at a picture of Jason and

Danny. So he's thinking that Danny might be the one because he's like who else in his world would he cover up and agree to say that he shot a WSB director for? And if anything happens to Danny and Rocco finds out, that'll be it. That'll, that'll break him. He's barely making it now because he sent Danny's father to an undisclosed location because of covering for him. If Danny gets hurt on top of it, you might as well sedate that boy.

this point, we're keeping eyes on all of this. And I wish Curtis would just lay off of trying to, he's trying to be super dad. Really when it comes to Isaiah, I get it. You don't like the man. I might have to say that I was with y'all because you and Rocco were my alibi, but Curtis and Jordan are just reaching. The reason why you got in that accident is because y'all were smooching. At night, not paying attention to what you were doing behind the wheel. And truth be told, you could have killed somebody. You obviously crossed the line on the road and that person had to swerve. What is you doing? And this is probably where we get to see Detective Fitzpatrick come on the scene. New detective hears about this and probably he's gonna arrest Curtis, which honestly, sir, that does not make you look like a good father. Good.

And through it all, while we're still trying to find Joss, he's like, she might be better off just chilling. And then we have life passing by because other people have other things going on. Similar to Michael, which ties back to not only Willow, but Chase and the PI, private investigator with a cute dog, apparently. That she utilized. And saying that she was like the way that they were interacting, it's only a matter of time if they're not cheating.

They most likely will be. I was like, this is getting crazy. And the pictures that she already took of them, they do look like they're in a compromising position to be with a beat cop and you doing all this touching and close talking. After a run and he ain't got no shirt on.

I'll give him credit. had a little, look, it was just more of like one of those like Jim Bro-T's things. But it was like, okay, you trying to get this baby Phoebe with your wife. I need you to text your request for Willow. Stop trying to always meet up.

While they do that, Lucas is trying to find a way to console the father of his lover who is now deceased, RIP Marco. But we don't know why you still over on Spoon Island.

I feel like you're not doing any damage. You're not finding any information. If anything, you're just pissing off Pascal more. Look, that is fun. Don't get me wrong. I do enjoy those. Yes, but Rick tried to see that glass half full. He was like, well, that's growth. Cause back in the day, he would have just shot me. But right now we talked it out. So that's good. Because when we have dinner at Eva's place, what he makes is truffle mac and cheese. And don't get me wrong, I love mac and cheese. Who doesn't? However, truffle is not lobster mac and cheese because he couldn't do the lobster mac and cheese because now we know that Dr. Ted is allergic to seafood. But.

But when we look at the plate, all we saw was the mac and cheese. And it wasn't a lot. It wasn't a pan. It was a pot. It was a pot. So we know it wasn't even baked, but that's neither here nor there. we had the conversations, the gift giving and everything else. Then I see them start clearing the plates. So that means all we had was mac and cheese. I said, excuse me? I was like, are we vegetarians?

Did we not have a salad? Did we not have broccoli or asparagus or chicken? We know that he's allergic to seafood, Ted, but there are other proteins. And I just don't feel like a little spoonful of mac and cheese, truffle or not.

was enough to sustain me for the evening. I feel like they wouldn't get something to eat. This was this whole debate when people are like, is mac and cheese an entree or just a side? It's a side. be. It can be. be an entree if you have maybe like a brisket or lobster. saw online somebody made jalapeno mac and cheese with oxtails. You can put any protein in it, but that's the only way if there's more to it than just noodles and cheese.

That's the only way it's not a side to me. Yeah, it's definitely not giving spaghetti where you have everything combined into one, but it's a start. then- that's what I thought it was. I thought I thought it definitely was not. And then we get to the dessert portion and all we see is one cupcake. One. With a candle. Now I get the whole backstory behind this because when we first saw Eva and the fact that she didn't have the birthday she wanted, all she got was...

a cupcake with a candle. However, sir, if you were trying to win over the parents and show that you are cooking and baking her favorite foods, you couldn't bake a cake. A whole cake and then just gave her the cupcake. Like serve her parents the cake and then. This is just for you. Or even with the cupcake, I'm like usually a 10 comes in at least six, if not 12. Like you didn't have to reinvent the wheel. But.

All of that just to say, while I was disappointed, and possibly on Team Leslie surprisingly for this and this only, we won't even get into the gifts just yet. Apparently all of this warranted an I love you after he admitted that he loved Eva. Again, your bar is low, my girl. And she did get a diamond necklace from her mother. We called it.

it matches the earrings she got for Christmas. Yes, yes. And then Ted did some very sentimental gifts. He was like, if I had raised you, I would have gave you this teddy bear. I would have gave you this pillow for your first apartment. All these keepsakes. And she just loved them. I thought they were very thoughtful. I'll give them thoughtful, affordable. I won't even say frugal, but sentimental nonetheless. Yes. So we at least had all of that wrapped up in a bow. And

We also know that Izaiah gave her the bracelet. And again, I guess bracelet and this dinner was what he brought. Look, saved enough of this icing to use in the bedroom. Right, not enough of my cake or another cupcake. We'll let that slide, So all of this to say, at least she enjoyed.

And through this all, we know that Eva's going to be doing not only Samantha's hair, but June's hair. And I'm like, you are lucky you didn't get a drink thrown on you, ma'am. Or a soap slap. It would have been nice to wear a soap slap, but Dr. Nicole, even with her running, she's too classy for can't do that. But her words were cutting, like she tried to make them, to the point she was like, say it again. She has jumped over a table for Leslie. She's not afraid to do it for her grandbabies. Because the woman is just vile. The fact that she's like,

She comes from crap stock because her mama ain't nothing. She is borderline crackhead. And of course Nicole tries to defend her. She's like, she's cleaning herself up. She's like, I don't believe a word you're saying and you stupid for allowing this trash of a person and her daughter to be a part of your family and a part of your legacy. But it doesn't matter because my Chessy is going to be the platinum deb.

And through it all, even with Chessy, it's like she's sitting there with Samantha. I really want Nate to do something untoward. It really is. And it's one of those things where you saw just maybe an inkling of a possible turn of the page. And then she's like, no. She was like, my grandma, I believe everything glamma says. I'm just too proper and prim to say it aloud. But I agree. And I'm like, well, dag, I thought we got rid

And I also wish we got to see a little bit of behind the scenes with the rehearsals. I mean, just one or two. The fact that we saw like Miss Anita help with the waltz and things like that. But to see a group of teenagers and see how the DMV and the upper crust, if you will, it would have been nice. This week we get to see the actual getting together, like her getting the hair done and the dress, putting on the dress and the jewelry. And I want to see her get ready.

I do want to see that transformation. We also know that Tyrell gave his sister the diamond earrings because why? Even when they were homeless and in foster care, all she ever wanted were diamond earrings. And talk about sentiment. I'm like, even while on punishment, grounded, not getting to see his girlfriend because of Samantha, he was still kind. He's a good guy. That's a good boy. She don't know where he is. This, after she has made a demand of Victor and the Newmans, I will give you the man who's been terrorizing you for months. I got him. All you gotta do is get Christine to drop the charges.

and leave me alone. And Victor is like, I want Matt Clark and I want Newman Enterprises. And she's like, you can't have both. I'm the one with the upper hand. And that's when she goes back to the hotel and realizes the man who she gave a hotel room to, he got to shower and shave, rolled out. you chloroform Cane to get that company. Why did you not knock, what's his name out? Matt, why would you not?

keep him in the hotel or have somebody you've already told Michael and Lauren Lauren should have been keeping watch. Well, because both of them know that he is crazy. Why are we doing this? He's dangerous. He is but he's not in his right mind right now. And even with him not being in his right mind, we see the way that Phyllis is talking about and Lauren has to be like girl, are you falling for this psycho? I mean when he was almost in tears at Crimson Light, he was like

I don't know if I'm married. I don't know why everybody hates me. And she's like, aw. I'm like, aw, he's so cute. And it's like, I do not need Phyllis and Patty being over trying to fight over Matt Clark, a trained killer. And drug dealer- then it's like, they said I blew up people. I just don't see myself doing this. You did. You really did. Oh my God. You enjoyed it.

And now I'm just like, well, through this all, are we gonna have him popping up like on the Newman Ranch? Is he just enjoying a stroll around Genoa City? I am wondering where he went. I'm thinking somehow maybe he went back to Crimson Lights and runs back in the Patty again. And she's probably taking care of him. Because remember, she was like, maybe we can help each other. That is true. So God help him if he's caught up in that one.

And then it also also means what are we going to get from this? Because right now Nick trying to kill him. Nick already has this whole game plan where not only is he gonna try to get Matt Clark to swing at him and punch him, but he gonna kill him and then bring in Burrows Detective Burrows because if I have a police officer see him hit me, then I can kill him and say it's self-defense. It's giving crackhead energy, but I at least give him credit for trying to come.

The plans got drug all over it. Like what are you talking about? I'm gonna kill him. I was like, if he punches you and you resort to death, think that's a little extreme. Just a little extreme. So I don't know if you want the police right there. And then it's also listening to like Victor and it's like, you know, this legacy, you are supposed to be the heir apparent. He's like, and you want this stuff. I need you to get clean.

I never thought Nick was heir apparent. It was always supposed to be Victoria in my mind. I feel like the one who's been running the company, it would be nice. And if not, I'm going to blame the patriarchy because through all of this, you have Victor who already set up this kind of negotiation with Phyllis and he's like, no, I want what I want. And Nick is like, just give them to it. Give me Matt Clark. I'll try to do what I can. And then he's trying to make a side deal with Phyllis. is. And he's not in a state to make any deals.

Not at all. And speaking of deals, we also have Jack trying to the upper hand against Patty. And through this all, he's trying to be nicer, a nicer version of Jack where it's like, yeah, I don't completely hate you. Still drug me though. And Patty's like, who, me? I told you, I didn't drug that whiskey. But he did finally get her to confess. That it was Victor who put this plot in motion. Shocking and awe. And...

through this, now he's trying to get his revenge. And he's like, Patty, help me, help girl, help me help you help me to get Victor. She's like, okay. And while they are coming up with this illustrious plan, you got Diane having visions and dreams. Nightmares. Where it's like, what if they end up together? Not just together, they kick her out of the house.

They have a child all of a sudden, the one that they... They were supposed to have. Right. It's crazy. And she wakes up in a sweat and says, let me call Jack who doesn't answer. ⁓ good. I'm glad he don't put her on block. This is ridiculous. You wouldn't talk to him about anything. And yes, he was in the wrong. And I get it. But you either to decide if you're going to stay with him, try to work it out, or you're going to get rid of him. Stringing him along is just not

in the best interest of him or you. So, enjoy the nightmare. She deserves it. Well, I know one thing that did make you happy. Lily! And Cane. Yes! The kiss as quick as the emotions. Not just that, the whole playfulness. So he gets his stem cell taken and it's sent over to New York so it can be ready and be given to Malcolm, Lily's

biological father and she takes him back on the train. He got on his little little tracksuit and she puts him in the bed. She's like, do you need anything? like, can you take my shoes off? And then she takes his shoes off. She's like, do you need anything? He was like, I'm fine. She was like, you know how you are. You get a sniffle and you a big old baby. He's like, no, I'm not. And then she's like, what do you need? He was like, I sent all the staff home, but I'm fine. She was like, ain't nobody here. I can make you a snack.

He's like, can I get some peel grapes and you can feed them to me? And she's like, you got jokes. He was like, he did call me a baby. Don't do that again. And then she made him a snack and she called and checked on Holden, who should have been at the hospital with his daddy. But instead he playing around with Claire again. In New York. And she's like, I just want to make sure Cane is all set up and then I will fly right out so we can be there when ⁓ Malcolm is recovering from the stem cell transfer thing. And.

He's like, I'm good, just please let me know when you land and please let me know how everything goes. She's like, I promise, you sure you good? He was like, I promise you I'm fine. And before she leaves, she gave him a kiss on the lips

so excited. I had to watch it a couple times. I was so happy. he called it. And the best was he didn't get excited. He was excited, but he kept it together. He just looked at her longingly. And then when she left, you could just see him just grinning to himself. He had a little smile. I was like, get him, Cane. Get her!. I like, I told you. All it takes, it takes a crisis or something. There was just no way. Because when he kissed her in December, he grabbed that face and he put it on her.

She felt something, I felt something, it wasn't even me. So yeah. And they getting back together. They will, and it's gonna be to the demise of Devon because he is just gang banging on bacon is what I say when you just wake up angry. Just so angry. know he's out to get Mariah because of what she did to Dom, but he's been like throwing pot shots at Lily when it comes to Cane like.

And it's like, like Nate's looking at him like, you good? Like, we're just worried. I mean, we are worried, but dang, and Lily's like, is this because you couldn't keep an eye out on your son type thing? He's like, no, no, I'm worried about you. That's all I'm saying. And she's like, okay.

And so through this kiss, feel like that was a double, and what? when she gets back. Well, she did have a good suggestion. She told Devon, maybe you need to address the person that the anger is really about. You need to go check on Mariah. Tell her what she has done to your head. Made you feel about your family. Let her know. That's the one thing I do agree that you were not given the opportunity.

to state your case on what her actions did to you. he, and Nathan was like, you probably should contemplate that. So I believe in this week's, we the promo, he's going to go and address her directly. And I think that will help him a lot. Hopefully he can get everything off his chest, act right with his wife, act right with his family. And again, even though I'm excited that Cane and Lily had that moment, you still gotta keep an eye on.
