Confusing Crossover, Chase & Curtis are the worst and Secrets of Fashion

The attempt at a crossover between Beyond the Gates and Young and the Restless falls flat but included a tornado and far more questions than answers.  General Hospital:  Chase arrests Tracy for Willow's sake and Curtis causes a bigger riff between him and Portia.  Bold and the Beautiful:  Everyone is trying to keep secrets but someone is bound to slip.

We got some news for you. This just in. A new character is coming to Young and the Restless starting on Monday, June 15th. It is veteran primetime actor Jere Burns. He's making his daytime soap debut on Young and the Restless He's going to appear in a multi-episode arc as Dr. Lawrence Markham. It's a new character that's going to be tied to the sudden.

And mysterious disappearance of Diane Jenkins Abbott, which is even more mysterious to us because she appeared, then disappeared, but we'll discuss that later. Then we have on General Hospital a gentleman by the name of Troy Lennon is joining the show. He is going to be a character by the name of Hudson. They didn't give a last name that I saw. But supposedly he's going to be in Port Charles doing some shady business dealings.

he's coming on July 30th. We also are saying goodbye we have Katie Messi, who pretty much finished up her stint as Christina Corinthos Davis on what's that?

No. Absolutely not. No. ⁓ Yes, not gonna miss her. But she is leaving and we will definitely get into why her character is leaving. Of course the actress has decided that she already had discussed that she wasn't gonna stay for a permanent, permanent time. she's been there what two, three years. So she didn't renew her contract and she left pretty abruptly this past week.

And another addition and she's a familiar face that's coming to General Hospital.

Yes, Kelly Kruger. Most people probably remember her from Young the Restless. She played Mackenzie, aka Mac Browning. She is coming to Port Charles in the role of Serena Baldwin. So that's the biological daughter of Scott Baldwin and the late Dominique Stanton. So she's supposed to be making her debut in July. I'm interested to see. Again, we have a

Wide range of characters coming to Port Charles after losing quite a few 'cause we also lost Sidwell this week.

Kirsten Storm will not be returning as Maxie Jones. She is having personal issues that she has to deal with that supersede her being in Port Charles. So no word on whether they're going to recast Maxie or send her on her way, but it doesn't look like Kirsten will be returning.

No, and other news we have, I just want to point out Bold the Beautiful's head writer and executive producer, Bradley Bell, he is entering the micro series vertical space, creating a show called Hollywood Starlet. So all of those kind of up and coming phone soap opera dramas that we're seeing pop up, he wants to throw his hat in the ring too.

Interesting. I would prefer he focus on the show at hand, but you do you sir. All right, let's begin in the DMV where there was a weather phenomenon. We had the crossover between Beyond the Gates and Young and the Restless. Unfortunately, in my eyes, it was not done well. My definition of a crossover is yes

characters from one show on the same network go on another show on the same network. But there's a tie-in. And the tie-in that we had this week between the Abbott's and Victor Newman coming to DC to support Martin's fundraising for his Senate bid on a second term was flimsy at best.

I feel like Beyond the Gates better explained why they were coming as opposed to Young and the Restless explaining why they went. We had Victor come because he is a longtime friend of Vernon Dupree.

When he was coming up in the political world, Victor was a supporter. So of course when Vernon asked him to come and be the keynote speaker at the fundraiser, he jumped at the chance. And Kyle apparently went to school with Martin in New York, which makes sense to have him come and support Martin. But for some reason he brought his mother and father, Jack and Diane Abbott. But the problem is Jack and Diane have not been talking for over a month.

Diane refuses to talk to him after the whole stint he had on the yacht with Patty, and he was caught with his pants down literally in bed with Patty by Diane, Billy, and Kyle. So all the month of May, we are under the impression that Jack and Diane are right now possibly on the verge of divorce. But then this past week, they're in DC, lovey dovey dressed as

elegantly and hanging on each other's every word during this tornado that touched down in the county where the club is and the fundraiser was held. So I'm not saying it's gotta be a strong storyline tie-in, but make it make sense. That's all I'm asking.

Chanelle  (05:28)
That's a good point because also on Young of the Restless, we think she might have been kidnapped.

La (05:33)
Right, because the previews for this coming week has her in some random home and she's like, Where am I? And Jack is talking to Patty talking about my wife has been kidnapped. Did they snatch her when they went back to Genoa City? Because if we watch this coming week show and she's been kidnapped, it will totally throw off the whole crossover they just did.

Chanelle  (05:56)
I think they'd need to take a page out of Shonda Rhimes. And you know I love Shonda as not only a showrunner, but as a producer. And it should have been tied in. It didn't have to go into each storyline from Genoa City and Young the Restless to what's going on in Fairmont Crest. However, it could have been a continuation of having two hours of like good quality television shown from the

Hour of Young and the Restless. We get it from the Genoa City side. Victor Newman just got his company back. Jack is still on the outs with Diane, but they're willing to, you know, save face and suck it up to go over to Maryland with Kyle. It could have been, Nikki's upset because she couldn't go to the fundraiser, but then she's staying back because Nick needs help as he enters rehab and then go from there. And then once you get to Fairmount Crest.

We all have what's going on over there, but it's the lead up to that. And that could have been the buildup to the, ooh, a storm's a brewing, but we should still have the fundraiser. Or, ooh, because the polls are so close, we need Victor Newman to knock it out of the park. And hopefully with that, the tides of the campaign trail will change and go from there. And then we have to go into the fact that the subplots that happened at this campaign event.

Hayley, I'm looking at you and Kyle. For the ones who are true Soaps watchers, you know what's been popping off and what could pop off in the future. And we get a kiss between Kyle Abbott and Hayley the con artist herself. it could have been much more, I guess, in depth or seeing something that could have been unveiled or revealed through these plots. And that didn't happen, unfortunately.

La (07:45)
Honestly, when they showed previews of Kyle and Hayley together, I was thinking that maybe she did a con that he caught her in. And it was like, ⁓ fancy seeing you again, like something of that nature. We were presented with two complete strangers who just had an attraction. And then Kyle helped her. They got stuck in a closet during the storm. And then they start making out and having a dance party.

And Hayley took it to another level because she took off her wedding ring to holler at Kyle, to make it seem like she was on a date with somebody and they just left her, as opposed to her husband, Bill, was with her at the event.

Chanelle  (08:32)
Yeah, and we know that Kyle in his tumultuous past is not afraid to love down on a woman who was married. We still love Harrison, but that's how he got his son.

La (08:43)
Right. So when Hayley confessed, anybody else would have been like, How dare you like put me in the middle? He was like, ⁓ I see you. I too have done some skeptical things, So he took it well. We also have

Victor giving the speech. Devon came with Abby. Jack was there with Diane and they're making the rounds. Chelsea, got to talk to Abby about the ChelseaKat bag. And what would you also like to see in some of our upcoming products? So they talked about that. And Diane got to talk to Leslie, which was hilarious because Leslie was like, How do I get to your level?

How can I fake my own death and end up with a rich man like an Abbott? And she's like

Leslie, of course, always unbridled. And then you have Devon talking to Anita about, you know, hey, had to support you, and we're still working on The sounds from the lost Articulette will be incorporated in hopefully our next album. So at least we had those ties still going. And then Victor does his thing, and all of a sudden there's an alert. Now, because we've worked in the

television news industry, we know that things can just pop up, but there's also forecasters are called that for a reason. the way Chanelle said there should be a storm of Bruin, at least then we would have known, hey, we need to get this done at a reasonable time because there could be a storm and we don't want people stuck here. Like if they had just said that, at least we would have known as opposed to all of a sudden Victor does his

speech and then as soon as he's done, ⁓ Martin gets an alert and then all of a sudden there's a storm, windows are blown through, people are being thrown to the ground. I'm like, he literally got a notice about the storm seconds before the storm hit.

Chanelle  (10:39)
True. Look, they could even have someone like working with Smitty in the office or a public broadcaster being like, hey, heads up.

La (10:47)
Or he could have got

an alert, because remember, he works at a newspaper. Hey, I'm getting these alerts that are saying we can't like delay, we gotta get this going on time so we can get out of Dodge. But again, it came out of nowhere. And like I said, people were down on the ground. ⁓ Ashley had been talked into going from Naomi because, you know, she's still in mourning.

And so she comes and then Anastasia hits her with the, you must feel like crap because Derek is dead and he was in love with you, but you dumped him and never wanted to marry him, so you're gonna have to live with that for the rest of your life. And so that triggers Ashley and she spirals and Dani takes her up to the bridal suite which which doesn't help the situation, so

She tries to give her a pep talk, but then she calls Naomi because she's not making enough headway. And Naomi comes upstairs to the suite. And Dani's like, I gotta get back down because I don't wanna miss Martin's speech. So you got your girl? She's like, good. She gets in the elevator, Bill's in the elevator, and then when the storm hits, they're stuck in the elevator. And you know what happens next.

It got hot and heavy in the elevator. Love and so they're arguing per usually and she's panicking. She's like hitting all the buttons. Of course, it's a power outage, so nothing's working. And he's trying to calm her down. And she's like, Shut up, we're gotta get out of here. We gotta make an effort. We gotta get help. Da-da-da. And he's like, You just need to wait it out.

Chanelle  (11:58)
Mm mm mm mm. Steamy. Love in the elevator. You're making me

She's like, what about our children? And he's like, they are smart young ladies. I'm sure if they're not helping, they're safe. Just keep your cool. And she's like, why does that work? And he was like, what? Your calming voice and your sound advice, and I hate it. And he's like, that's because I'm always right. That's why. So she lets that go for five seconds. Then she's like, we've got to get out of here. I see a hatch. Lift me up.

And so she hikes up her skirt to get able for him to help her up. And he's like, Why are you trying to seduce me? She's like, What? He's like, You know what you're doing in your sexy dress, hiking up your skirt, trying to look all, you know, I can't handle all that sexy at once. She's Ain't nobody thinking about sexy. Only your mind would go to there. I'm trying to get us out of here. And unfortunately, they do her plan. He gets her on his shoulders. She's almost got the

hatch open but then Vernon is able to get the backup generator to kick in 'cause it didn't immediately and when the light comes on it startles her and she falls down. She falls down. They get up and at it on each other, start kissing, making out, one thing leads to another and they have sex in the elevator. And by the time they're back on a floor that they can get off of, they're getting themselves

readjusted and Dani is like we say nothing to the grave and he's like right she's like I need you to go left and I go right you were stuck in the stairs I was stuck in the elevator bet bet and then they go so you also have ⁓ a tree fell in the club if a tree falls in the club does anybody hear it nobody noticed that Martin was under it so he had been trapped under the tree and because Abby was so

Distraught because Kyle was missing, and her father, she's looking all around and she's like, Hey y'all, there's a shoe under this tree. And it takes Devon, Joey Armstrong, and ⁓ Smitty, and I think Ted, too, to help and Nicole to help get the branches off. And when they reveal, you see Martin underneath, completely unconscious. And so Smitty is beside himself. Nicole is like dang on.

Chanelle  (14:28)
Smitty.

La (14:44)
gonna have a you know heart attack. They get the tree off of him. He doesn't seem to have any broken bones, but he is unconscious. They're trying to wake him up. They're slapping him. They're yelling at him. Finally he comes too. And he's like, what happened? And they're like, you didn't see that tree fall on you. And nope. And but he claims to be perfectly fine. But they have him seated. His father tries to check on him and see if anything's broken, He's like, you might have a concussion. When the first responders can come, you have to go.

Chanelle  (15:01)
Show didn't.

La (15:14)
And get checked. Meanwhile, you have Andre, who did get hurt when he fell. I don't know if it was because of the tree or not. He got impaled in his leg. Not all the way through, I don't think, but enough to have a huge gash. Ted was able to get him stitches, but all he can think about is Dani. I need to check on Dani. What if she's hurt? What if she's alone? Lord, don't let my baby be gone. He is upset and he even all hurt. He wants to go looking for her. And it takes Chelsea.

To make him and Shanice to make him stay put, because he was on a mission to go find this woman. And Leslie is being Leslie. Where is Eva? Stop what you're doing, everybody, and find my daughter. And they're like, no, we need to help all the masses. We are looking for Kat and Eva, but nobody is stopping and just searching for your daughter because you say so. To the point where

The Vernon gets walkie-talkies to help with better communication. And Leslie jumps on, and this is after Nicole has found her son, almost thinking he's dead, and she still hasn't found her daughter. And Leslie's like, I need people to find Eva. And Nicole cusses her out. She's like, You are not the only one missing a daughter. My daughter is missing. Other people are hurt. You need to sit your and she said ass down.

And let the adults handle things. And that jolts Leslie to realize that she is acting inappropriately. And she's like, I'm just scared. She's like, You ain't the only one scared. You think that we're all taking this well right now? But it turns out Eva is in trouble because her and Kat got stuck in a stairwell and it had a heating pipe that fell. And in the process, we're just

guesstimating it hasn't been confirmed, but you saw bolts popping when the pipe fell. So at least I'm under the impression that she got hit with one of those flying bolts because she falls in the corner. Kat is screaming, trying to get help, look for an exit, and she's fussing at Eva. She's like, you know, you sitting over there, you need to be helping me. We got to get out of here. And she's like, I don't feel good. Now

In my mind, it shouldn't have been I don't feel good. It should have been like, I think I'm hurt. Because she made it seem like, you know, maybe her head was hurting or whatever. Next thing you know, Eva is spitting up blood. And Kat is like, ⁓ God, this is serious. And she's like trying to scream for help. Finally, Izaiah's been looking all over the club. He finds where they are. He gets the EMT who's brought with Jacob, who finally arrived, because he was at the police department because he forgot.

Chanelle  (17:47)

that he was supposed to escort Naomi to the event. That's why she dragged actually.

Chanelle  (18:08)
Look, I like how you say quote

unquote forgot. That man is still on his investigation to try to figure out who the impaler is, and he is not letting up whatsoever. So Rashad is still deep in them trenches.

And do we know who the impaler is?

She is the impaler. She reveals herself this past week. Joey had a meeting set up. The actual impaler wanted to talk to him. Randy sets up all the security. They get rid of Vanessa so she won't be involved. And who pops up but his sister? And of course, he's been talking about her, like we mentioned, and he's like

What are you doing here? And he was like, The impaler sent you. Never once did he give the credit to her until she was like, dude, I'm the impaler. I'm doing this. I'm running things. You and dad had your power tripping. I'm power tripping on this. And he's like, What are you talking about? She's like, Not only am I the impaler, I want you to help me out. And he's like, I can't be party to that. And she's like, You sure?

And I'm hoping that that isn't the only appearance of the impaler we get. 'Cause that was lackluster in my mind.

Chanelle  (19:34)
Absolutely not. If anything, I need Heather to come on back and the way that Vanessa's moving, trying to be in all aspects of Joey's businesses, go on a team up with Vanessa. She wants to be a queen pen.

La (19:48)
⁓ that's a good idea. Two women in charge. And like I said, he didn't believe her. He thought she was a messenger. So he would never see that coming. And she has tried numerous times to get Joey to incorporate her and he just poo poos her with good reason. She's hard headed. So

It would be great if her and Heather team up, but she is risking her life and family. I don't think Heather has that. All her family is Joey because their dad is dead. So I don't think she has kids and a lover. So she can be reckless. And Vanessa shouldn't be. So I would hope that's not a wheelhouse she go into, but she just doesn't learn.

Chanelle  (20:31)
Love it because she

she needs to find out the hard way because Joey has been treating her with kid gloves. So I feel like if she teamed up with Heather and she tries to pull some of the stunts, Heather Look, I'm not the one sleeping with you. Do it as I say. Or, you know, your twins over at Banneker. And then she'd be like, My my twins. And then, you know, something like that. I need Vanessa to understand as deep as she thinks she is, and about that life as she thinks she wants to be.

If she sees

someone who really is in those trenches and is like, huh, I I don't care what you think, what we're gonna do, and you know, don't back talk me. And then Joey has to choose who do you love more, your sister or your lover? Like, you know, I that's the that's a free one. You all don't have to charge me on that one, just bite me to the red carpet. But that's what I'm hoping we get to eventually.

I would eat that up. That's perfect. Definitely. Because like you said, she has no skin in the game. I don't care whether you live or die. You just better do as I say. Yeah. Ooh ooh.

We've already seen it. And and also

going back to just this crossover, again, I I waited with my snacks and bated breath, to see what was really gonna transpire. And in the ranking of events thus far, honestly, I'm still Cotillion number one, crossover with this campaign fundraiser number two, and Winterfest is basically number three, or the event that shall not be named. And

With this that we had just a little bit of those who got injured. We also had the kissing between not only Bill and Dani, but Hayley and Kyle. We didn't push forward a lot with anything else beyond the the subplot to what's going on, but I want to see just where this transpires in not only Fairmont Crest, but in the DMV of what's to come.

Because as we get into the teasers for next week, it's this whole thing of is Eva on Death's Door. And I saw the teaser where they were having Ted, who he wasn't as annoying as I thought he could have been. So I'll give him that credit. But next week he's gonna be asking Kat, at least get tested. It's the least you can do. She's like, I don't want to, and I don't wanna be a match. So I'm guessing Eva might need a kidney.

A spleen, so something, something that is life or death.

La (22:58)
Yeah, part of a liver, something. Yeah. Now,

here's what needs to happen. If she is finally talked into getting tested, what happens if she's not a match? Not her, but if the blood doesn't match. That could be a revelation that she is not Ted's daughter.

Chanelle  (23:21)
Of you are either wanting her not to be Ted's daughter or to be Ted and Nicole's or baby swapped somebody else's. Look, she could even possibly be Bill's. I I would listen to what people are saying in the soap streets. At this point, I don't know what happens, but we need to move on from this animosity. And if we don't move on then we have to understand that Kat might just be stuck in her ways.

Because I also saw people saying she's a monster. Just because she might be her half sister does not mean that she has to give over an organ, donate blood, give a little bone marrow or stem cells. She just might be that person that she does not rock with.

La (24:08)
It's true. And remember, the big thing that people were pointing out on them soap streets is that Eva was saying, You're gonna need me one day. But the tides have turned and she's gonna need Kat. So if the one caveat that I would enjoy is say she does get talked into getting tested, she is a match, she goes through with whatever organ Eva needs.

You have to look Kat in the eye every day afterwards, Leslie Thomas, and realize that your child would not be alive without Kat. Do you know how much Kat is gonna throw that in her face every time she sees that woman? ⁓ Eva's breathing because of me. Eva's doing this because of me. She will destroy this woman's whole existence by constantly reminding her that Eva should be dead, but she isn't because I am a good person. So.

Eat that up. I would enjoy that. That would be fun. I would enjoy that moment. Cause that's the

Ooh, that would be. And and honestly,

all chef's kiss, it would be. And I I just have to shout out Colby because Colby Nixon, who plays Kat, she did her thing during this crossover. The emotions, the levels.

It was amazing. She was so emotional.

And remember how she had the blood on her hands? She didn't wash it off. She put gloves over And she just kept looking at Yep.

Chanelle  (25:32)
Out, out, damn spot.

Yes. And honestly, even though it was probably just something to keep an eye on, to notice how she was freaking out. And when you had Dana, aka Leslie talking about you probably did something, she's like, Yeah, I didn't. I didn't. And who was there to comfort her? Jacob. Jacob, who is doing his own spiral, took the time to be like, we know this was a freak accident. It was nature.

La (25:52)

You couldn't have done anything else. She's like, I I just need to hear that. Thank you. And I'm thinking to myself, now how many people have been telling you the same thing about Derek? And you just couldn't hear it. But when it comes to trying to protect Kat, I I don't know. Katlock and Jacob, I I don't think she'd mess up what Naomi has going on, but there's some underlying connection there. There is something there.

I don't like it, but it's there. you can't ignore it. And I hate that. I'm like, ooh, don't do it. Don't do it. it was chaos. And ⁓ and then Martin, like we said earlier, was animate. I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine. Time to leave. And he

Is being berated by Smitty. You need to go to the hospital. I told you I'm good. And Smitty is like, a whole tree fell on you, man. He's like, I'm fine. He stands up, takes two steps, passes out. So he either has internal bleeding or a possible concussion or maybe a brain bleed. Who knows? But he's gonna be in the hospital too.

Chanelle  (27:05)
True. Kind of like Final Destination when it comes to millennials and Gen Xers not be getting behind log trucks. Every time I hear someone who has a concussion or gets hurt, I always have to think about Natasha Richardson. I loved her in The Parent Trap. And with her accident and not getting it checked immediately. And then they're saying if she had gotten checked, the possibility that she could have lived, you always get checked when it comes to a concussion like that.

La (27:34)
And it was a tree. ⁓ tree, man. So but it was excitement. But again, don't call it a crossover. Don't give me these phenomenal promos and not completely deliver. The show delivered, but the crossoverness didn't. Which brings us to Genoa City. Which you said we can do pretty much a drive by with this one because there was so it was so slow.

Chanelle  (27:36)
Yeah.

my gosh, when we say we do this for you, I watch these five hours for you for sure. And it just was very convoluted. You have most of the cast over in Fairmont Crest anyway. And then to get there, no one really acknowledges that they've gone. It's it was almost like two different timelines that never synced up. And what I love about when ABC does crossovers in prime time is

Usually they're connected. You get a part one and then you come in from Young of the Restless, take a break, Bold the Beautiful, come right back to the storyline on Beyond the Gates. We didn't get that.

Your favorite person, Shonda Rhimes with Grey's Anatomy pra what is it, the practice and all that? They were seamless. Like you were murder. Yep.

it there is a formula. We just did not follow it this past week.

At all, be damned. And it wasn't just it wasn't just Diane going missing, it was just what's going on in Genoa City. So not only has Victor Newman left GC to come to Fairmont Crest, but in the midst of all of this, we have Matt Clark who knows that his name is Matt Clark, but still has his memories about him, but not the evil streak, but is willing to do evil deeds for Victor.

A la because Nick wants him to do it, but he doesn't know exactly what to do, but he's gonna try to help the Newmans, It was weird. H not happy at all.

La (29:40)
He's not happy about it because he's like, I'm not

an evil person anymore, but yet you want me to do something unthwart towards Cane because Victor still blames Cane, even though it was Phyllis who stole his company. His mantra is if Cane hadn't brought the AI system to

light in the first place, none of this would've happened. So I gotta take him down. But I need to know what he's up to. So in order for you not to go to jail or die, Matt Clark, you're gonna be my lackey. I'm gonna let you stay on the property. You're under ranch arrest and you can't do anything without my knowledge. What I want you and Adam to do is to go and see if Cane really recognizes who you are.

and what you're about and if he doesn't, then you can get on him like white on rice and learn everything I need to know about what he's up to and then I can take him down.

And again, Sharon loved the idea of her former rapist being on the property with her. Love that. And and through it all, we're like, again, Victor, we already know that the formula is gonna be Victor Newman is gonna win no matter what. It is what it is at this point. But for you to bring on someone who's terrorized your family, has gotten Nick Newman hooked on drugs and everything else, and give them

Yeah, she was pleased. And Mickey was too.

shelter and food to eat and clothes to wear to take down someone who, if you never had put the AI in the Newman Enterprises system to begin with, would have impacted you. I didn't want to hear anything more about this AI program. And yet here we still have the after effects of what it caused. Same thing happens to Isaiah.

He gets hit in the face by Curtis, falls on the ground, breaks his hand in 85 places, and now he can most likely never do surgery again. So of course he's like, if I can't do my livelihood, I'ma destroy yours, Curtis. I'm taking you to court. Now Portia has asked, can you not take him to court until after the baby's born? Can you give me that much? And he's like, for you, yes. But Trina put together this awesome baby shower with the help of Stella.

And what happens? Jordan and Curtis come and the first thing they do is start a fight with Portia and Isaiah. And to the point where Trina was like, I'm sick and tired. After being advised by her man Kia, you can't make things right with your family. They grown people. They need to act like that. And they didn't, so she left, didn't say goodbye, just rolled out. And then Aunt Stella gives both of them a stern talking to, especially her nephew, because she was like,

You were already in trouble as it was. Do you now think that they have not left this place and ⁓ not before Portia saying you will not be able to contact me except for baby appointments. You're done. So Stella is like, you were already on shaky ground and facing possible jail time for assaulting Isaiah. Now I'm positive those two have gone to the lawyer and being like, now he's threatened again, because Curtis did say

Keep talking, Smack. I'm gonna punch you in your face again, which admits guilt. So that already you've said in front of witnesses that I did knock you out and possibly ruined your life as a surgeon. Yes, I've destroyed your career by punching you because I was a hothead, and I'm not afraid to do it again. So now we have a pattern. You are setting yourself up to go to prison. My son, Wiley, that's crazy. And she's like, No, it isn't. It's just proving my point. You getting too close to Chase. Chase has put his whole life and career on the line for you. And we know you tried to kill your husband. Somebody you should be taking care of because he's in critical condition at your house, but you're taking time out instead of taking care of him and taking care of your constituents to hang out with Chase. And all of a sudden, Willow goes into attack mode. That's why your children hate you. That's why you couldn't raise your children.

Children, you only had nannies, that's why they never come to visit, Dylan never comes to visit, Ned don't care about you, nobody cares about you. And Tracy is like, how did we get here? We focused on you and your misgivings. And

Tracy has had enough of her back talk and she grabs her arm and she's like, You stay away from my family. And in doing so, Chase has already been sent home because his ways when it comes to Willow has him looked down upon as a police officer, Because the ADA was gonna question Lucas, and we'll explain why in a minute. I don't want nobody who tried to undermine the police department with his own personal issues anywhere near this case. We need it by the book. So that just shows that the he's not even thought of as a regular officer being any good anymore. That's how much his whole department doesn't even believe in him. They don't trust him because he threw them under the bus for Willow.

So he gets sent home, or he's done with his shift, and he comes round the corner at the dock just when Tracy grabbed Willow's arm, and she takes it upon herself to be like, Tracy, stop hurting me. And then she throws herself into the lake. So of course, Chase takes off his shirt and stuff, jumps into the lake, saves her, quote unquote, and she's like, Tracy, threw me in because she's so mean. It kills me because Katie did her little word play of I have hope, so don't worry about me.

AKA she pretty much just told Brooke, I have your daughter working for me now, but you didn't catch it. And here's what we're gonna do: we're gonna call a truce. And the new rule is I hire nobody with the last name Forrester, and you hire nobody with the last name Spencer. Deal, deal. Let's shake on it. And then Kate goes skipping back to Spencer publications. I just made the deal of the century.

Now it can't be a big problem that you work for Logan now because I talked to my sister and she knows that I am only allowed to hire Spencers, your name now is Hope Logan Spencer. So we're good. Yeah, she's probably gonna blow up and try to kill us when truth comes out, but until then, in my mind, made up legally, this is all good.

So I just think it's ridiculous that she thinks that she's got one over on Brooke because of this stupid little handshake. And her and Hope are in people's faces or hiding out all the time. But when they are in people's faces, it's like, you know, our you know, our lead designer, and let us not forget that she can't design anything. To me, Hope is a glorified spokesmodel who's giving direction to an actual designer. But

I'm questioning her skills after the little runway thing we saw this past week. I don't need a fur dress with a fur coat and high alligator boots. All the same color. I just don't. And if that's your tip of the iceberg, I feel it's Titanic bound.

Again, they don't have to reinvent the wheel when it comes to showing us the fashion. The sketches that he had when he was first anonymously brought in from Forrester should have been the same things he used over at Logan. They never put it in production. You wouldn't been hurting anybody. It's not like they owned it at that point. I just wish that they really understood that when it comes to Bold and the Beautiful, fashion is a character in and of itself. And it shouldn't just be

Used as a momentum building plot line. It really needs to make sense. Why do you have fur and alligator boots on when it's supposed to be either a summer collection or close to fall? We don't understand. And then it's like he's supposed to be innovative. There was nothing innovative about what I was seeing on that runway. Just wasn't. Now I have to suspend my belief when it comes to having Hope.

Be the designer. And She is not the designer. She is a spokesperson, the face at best. And the reason why Deke wasn't hired at Forrester is probably the same reason that they got to get it together when it comes to Logan. He just is green. That's it. He's just new. And it's not to say that his work won't develop over time. It's just he doesn't know the business. He doesn't know the intricacies of what they're looking for.

And until that happens, right now Logan seems to be a hodgepodge because not only do we have Deke and Hope with the fashion side, they're willing to think about bringing on Shauna for jewelry and a woman who we've only met maybe once before, named Fanny in perfume. Fanny, who mind you first went to Forrester Creations and was like, Look, I know I'm from Paris and you have Daphne The Rose. I have to be an honor to work beside her.

But I have my own fragrances. Steffy was like, We're good because we have Daphne. We're not looking to expand any further than what we have. ⁓ I am sorry, I will take my fragrances and go. To go over to Logan to be your next stop. And even the way that she was talking to Katie was like, I'm about to hop on a plane, but I was just over at Forrester. So not only were you just over at Forrester, but you're spreading information.

Like you're you're giving them insider agreement? I was like, I don't know if you know, but Hope is on sabbatical. I don't think Hope for the Future will be back anytime soon. Sacre bleu. And it's like, wait a minute, ma'am. Why are you giving them insider knowledge while you have Hope behind the screen? Listening in and being like, Well, if you do change your mind, I would love to do a fragrance for Logan. And I'm like, what is Logan smelling like right now? Cause right now it's smelling like all of like Eric Forrester's old design.

It's like what it really does. Like, what are we doing here? And then you have Shauna who went from showgirl to boutique owner to, you know, I dabble a little bit in jewelry. And if you would help me out, because White needs to be throwing a bone at his family's company after getting left by my daughter while we live together. It it's very convoluted.
