Sharam Namdarian Makes a Podcast

We finally came up with a name and premise for this podcast!

Sharam Namdarian

DRAMATIC REVEAL.

The podcast has a name... and it isn't what you think it is.

Although it is, because if you are reading this, you SHOULD know what it is already. Heck, you clicked on this and listened/watched it.

THE SHARAM NAMDARIAN PODCAST HAS BEEN RENAMED ONE MORE TIME.

To....

Dramatic pause....

Sharam Namdarian Makes A Podcast.

A riveting podcast by a guy who has way too many ideas.

With the simple goal.

Make a podcast.

Each episode is essentially rebuilt from the ground up.

Maybe it is an interview, maybe it is an audio drama based on one of the many shows I'm writing. Maybe it's something else entirely.

I finally have a name that captures the pure raw essence of the show.

That is a man who just wanted to make a podcast.

A goal that is easily achievable every single episode.

Sharam Namdarian:

Guess what? After long hardship, after long hard deliberation, after an extremely long hard deliberation, we finally have a premise for this podcast. Now, if you've been here from the start, which I have no reason to doubt that you wouldn't have been, you will have seen the dramatic existential drama that was me figuring out what the hell this podcast is. You were probably here from the start. In fact, I don't doubt you were here from the start, where I called it the Sharam Namdarian podcast. In fact, were you you were probably there for the shirtless era. Those two episodes that may or may not have been taken down where I decided, hey, I'm gonna record podcasts shirtless. I'm going to hold my audience at hostage until until it became popular or I broke. Then after that, I cannot remember what we called it. What did we call it? Ah yes. Of course you were there. You were, of course, you were there. Why wouldn't you have been there for the period of time that we called Sharam Namdarian Starts a Revolution? Where the premise was that I would one day start a revolution of some kind. I don't know what kind. Uh that was potentially part of it. But lo, that was not good enough. You were probably there. In fact, I have no reason to doubt, no reason to doubt, that you weren't there for the period of time where we so uniquely, so amazingly, so bravely called it the Sharam Namdarian Podcast. A name that no one has ever thought of before, not even me, not even me during my shirtless era. But that was not enough. A container, a vessel for what this podcast is meant to be. We have finally come up with a name, not just a name, a premise, something, a vessel that is without limits to finally capture the essence that is what this is meant to be. So this is sort of a re-pilot episode, a re-invigorating episode where I explain what the hell this is, what it's gonna be about, and you can get on board and be excited. And if anyone listens to the earlier episodes, if I leave them up, I probably will because there's some good chats with people in those episodes. Uh they will be relics. They will be relics for those that came before you, or sorry, those that came after you. That you can say, I was there, I was there during the shirtless Sharum Darien podcast, I was there during Sharam Namdarian starts a revolution, I was there during the Sharam Namdarian podcast, and now most importantly, I was there at the start, the very start of Sharam Namdarian Makes a Podcast. We did it. We did it. We finally came up with a name and a premise that I will stick to. I will stick to this one, I swear. Alright, so what is Sharon Narian makes a podcast? Basically, after long deliberation, I know it's been a while since I've posted it, uh posted an episode. Uh, I spent a long time thinking about this. And the reason why none of these names stuck was because all these premises stuck, was because honestly, I didn't like any of them. It wasn't exciting, it wasn't interesting, it wasn't whatever. And what is the core of what I'm trying to do with this? I'm trying to make a podcast. I'm trying to make it an episode. And every time I came up with an episode, basically I was trying to rethink the entire thing from the ground up. So why not just come up with a vessel where I can do that every single time, where I just rethink the entire thing from the ground up every single time, and let's just leave it at that, basically. So, what does that mean? For example, um, if if he gives me the footage, I have a three-camera podcast interview. It's a verbal joust basically about neurodiversity uh with uh and neurotypicalness, like me, uh with uh Josh Spiro, who's a Sydney comedian. Fuck. Oh Sydney comedian. Um and uh after that, what I want to do is I want to actually, I've been writing a uh TV show. I've been writing a TV show that's probably way too big budget for me to do right now. So I thought, why not use Sharum Darien makes a podcast to do audio dramas? So I want to actually do audit because I have a series of TV shows that I want to make basically of varying degrees of complexity. Why can't I just make audio dramas like podcast episodes based in that universe to sort of enhance my writing process, but also to sort of get people on board on board. So it's basically a sci-fi mercenary show. I'm not gonna explain anything more until I get the first episode out. Even when the first episode is out, I'm not gonna explain anything. I just want you to experience the pure joy and rawness of it. And um, nerds of varieties will know, will see influences, and that's exciting. Um, there's other shows set inside shopping centres, for example. You could be like, What is this? The entire show set inside a shopping centre. Great. Again, nerds will be like, Oh, I see the influences, I see the thing. Who his contemporaries were were people on the internet, basically. Um, so that's this episode. It's just a little a little thing to basically say the show has been set as Sharon Darren makes a podcast, and I'm pretty sure we're just gonna stick with that uh until the heat death of the universe. And um you know what's good about this episode is is we did it. We made a podcast. Thanks for being a part of it.
