Hello, and welcome to Selah.
I invite you to find a quiet spot, free from distractions, where you can fully focus on God’s presence.
As we move through this meditation, engage your heart and mind—visualize the scriptures, let the words take root in your soul, and repeat the prayers, whether out loud or in your mind.

Close your eyes.
 Take a deep breath in…
 Exhale…

"Quiet my heart, Lord.
Help me to be fully present with You.
I rest in the knowledge that You are here, shaping me, molding me, and completing a good work in me."

Today, we are focusing on Romans 15:13 (NIV):

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him,
so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

If you’ve been feeling drained, discouraged, or uncertain about the future, this is your sacred moment to pause and receive.
God is not only the source of hope—He fills us with joy and peace as we trust Him. And He promises that through the power of the Holy Spirit, hope will overflow from within us.

(Breathe in slowly…)
(Hold…)
(Exhale fully…)

Join me as we quiet our hearts, renew our minds, and draw closer to God… one meditation at a time.

As you breathe deeply, imagine you are sitting near a quiet stream.
The water moves gently beside you, sunlight dancing on its surface.
In the stillness, you begin to feel your heart soften.
You’re not alone—God is beside you. He’s not rushing you.
He simply invites you to be with Him.
 To trust Him.
To receive His joy. His peace. His hope.

Let this moment be a sacred exchange.
You bring your weariness, your worry—He offers overflowing hope.

As you breathe, gently speak this verse in your mind:

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace…”

Lord, You are my source of hope.
In moments of emptiness, You are the One who fills me.
Fill me now—with joy that lifts my spirit, and peace that quiets my heart.
I let go of doubt. I receive Your presence.

 Breathe in God’s joy…
 Exhale anxiety…
 Breathe in peace…
 Exhale fear…

“…as you trust in him…”

Father, I choose to trust You.
Even when I don’t understand, even when the way is unclear—
I place my hand in Yours.
 You are faithful.
 You are good.
 You are with me.

Inhale deeply, saying, “I trust You.”
Exhale slowly, saying, “I let go.”

“…so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Holy Spirit, breathe fresh hope into my soul.
Let it overflow—so that it spills into my words, my thoughts, my actions.
Let me be a vessel of hope to others.
Not through my strength, but by Your power alone.

 Breathe in hope…
 Exhale discouragement…
 Breathe in power…
 Exhale control…

As you continue to breathe gently, bring your awareness back to this moment.
Feel the presence of the Holy Spirit surrounding you, within you, empowering you.
 You are filled.
 You are held.
 You are overflowing.

Take one final deep breath in…
 Hold…
 And exhale slowly.

When you are ready, gently open your eyes.
Carry this hope, this peace, this joy with you into the rest of your day.

Heavenly Father, thank You for being the God of hope.
Thank You for filling me with joy and peace as I place my trust in You.
Holy Spirit, let that hope rise up within me and overflow into the world around me.
 In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Selah.
