Hello, and welcome to Selah.
I invite you to find a quiet spot, free from distractions, where you can fully focus on God’s presence.
As we move through this meditation, engage your heart and mind—visualize the scriptures, let the words take root in your soul, and repeat the prayers, whether out loud or in your mind.
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in…
Exhale…
"Quiet my heart, Lord.
Help me to be fully present with You.
I rest in the knowledge that You are here, shaping me, molding me, and completing a good work in me."
Today, we are focusing on Philippians 4:6–7 (NIV):
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
If anxiety has been stirring in your heart… if your mind has been running in circles with what-ifs and what-nexts… this is your time to release it all.
God invites you to bring everything to Him—your fears, your requests, your gratitude—and in return, He promises a peace that surpasses understanding.
(Breathe in slowly…)
(Hold…)
(Exhale fully…)
Join me as we quiet our hearts, renew our minds, and draw closer to God… one meditation at a time.

As you continue to breathe deeply and slowly, imagine yourself sitting in a quiet garden.
The air is still. The sky is soft with morning light.
You’re not alone—Jesus is sitting with you, right beside you.
There’s no rush, no need to explain everything—just an invitation to be honest and open.
This is a safe space, a sacred space.
God is listening.
You are seen. You are heard. You are loved.

As you breathe, gently speak this verse in your mind:
“Do not be anxious about anything…”

Lord, I give You my anxiety.
The fear that keeps me up at night… the stress that weighs on my chest…
I surrender it all to You now.
Help me to release what I cannot control and trust in Your care.

Breathe in God’s peace…
Exhale your fear…
“…but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

Father, I come to You with my needs.
You already know them—but I name them before You.
I lay them at Your feet with a thankful heart, believing that You are already working.
Teach me to come to You in every situation—not just in crisis, but in quiet faith.

Inhale deeply—imagine offering your requests to God, one by one.
Exhale slowly—let go of striving and pressure.
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Jesus, I receive Your peace.
A peace that goes beyond logic, beyond circumstances.
Let it guard my heart—where emotions live.
Let it guard my mind—where worries dwell.
I am safe in You.

Breathe in peace…
Exhale confusion…
Breathe in stillness…
Exhale fear…

As you continue to breathe deeply, bring your awareness back to this moment.
Feel the peace of God like a gentle shield around your heart and mind.
Let it settle into every part of you.
Know that you are not alone—He is with you now and always.
Take one final deep breath in… hold… and exhale slowly.
When you are ready, gently open your eyes.
Carry this peace with you through whatever the day may bring.

Heavenly Father, thank You for meeting me in this moment.
Thank You for Your Word that invites me to trust instead of fear.
I give You my anxieties. I give You my praise.
And I receive Your peace—a peace that guards my heart and mind in Christ.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Selah.
