Welcome to Selah—a sacred pause in the noise of life.
I invite you to find a quiet spot, free from distractions, where you can fully focus on God’s presence.
As we move through this meditation, engage your heart and mind—visualize the scriptures, let the words take root in your soul, and repeat the prayers.
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in…
Exhale…
Today we meditate on:
Ephesians 3:17–19 (NIV)
"I pray that you... may have power... to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge."
"Quiet my heart, Lord. Help me to be fully present with You.
I rest in the knowledge that You are here, shaping me, molding me, and completing a good work in me."
I take a deep breath in...
And as I exhale, I imagine myself as a tree planted by a stream—roots reaching deep into the earth.
I feel strong. Grounded. Secure.
Because my roots are planted in love.
I hear Paul’s prayer over me—
"That you may grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ."
I picture that love wrapping around me in every direction—
Above me, below me, beside me.
It stretches beyond what I can see or comprehend.
It’s not a love I have to chase.
It’s a love that holds me, surrounds me, fills me.
Even when I feel empty, I remember—
His love surpasses knowledge.
It fills every hollow space.
And in His love, I am made whole.
I pray from the depth of my heart:
"Lord, I want to know Your love—not just in theory, but in experience.
Let it go beyond what my mind can understand.
Let it flood every dry place.
Let it anchor me, steady me, transform me."
I breathe in deeply…
I receive the richness of Your love.
I breathe out slowly…
I release the need to have all the answers.
"Root me in You.
Establish me in love.
Stretch my heart to grasp how deep Your love really is.
Fill me to the measure of all Your fullness."
I imagine the love of Christ pouring into me like light—filling every space with warmth and peace.
And I whisper into the stillness:
"I am rooted in love.
I am filled with fullness.
I am held by something greater than I can understand."
I breathe in deeply again...
As I breathe in, I receive the love of Christ.
As I breathe out, I let go of doubt, striving, and distance.
I center my heart on these truths:
"I am rooted and established in love."
"God’s love is wider than my fear."
"Deeper than my pain."
"Longer than my past."
"Higher than my hope can reach."
Breathe in…
Hold…
Breathe out…
"I am filled with the fullness of God."
"I am not empty—I am overflowing with His love."
"I am rooted. I am grounded. I am secure in Christ."
One more deep breath in...
Slow, steady breath out...
"Thank You, Lord, for a love that cannot be measured,
a love that fills every part of me.
Today, I walk in the strength of knowing: I am fully loved."
Until next time, I will stay in your presence and let peace overflow.
Selah.
