How has God’s blessing shown up in your life this week?

Hello, and welcome to Selah. A sacred pause in the noise of life
I invite you to find a quiet spot, free from distractions, where you can fully focus on God’s presence.
As we move through this meditation, engage your heart and mind—visualize the scriptures, let the words take root in your soul, and repeat the prayers.

Today, we’re reflecting on the priestly blessing found in Numbers 6:24–26:
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
 the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.”

These are not empty words.
They are the heart of a Father who sees you, covers you, and delights in you.
Let this blessing speak directly to your spirit today.

Let’s begin.

Close your eyes.
Take a slow, deep breath in…
 Hold…
 Exhale gently.

"Quiet my heart, Lord. Help me to be fully present with You.
I rest in the knowledge that You are here,
shaping me, molding me, and completing a good work in me."

Take another deep breath…
As you inhale, imagine yourself standing in a peaceful open field at sunrise.
The golden light of morning breaks through the sky.
 It warms your skin.
You feel the quiet of the moment—the stillness of God’s nearness.

And then, you hear it spoken over you, clearly and intimately:
“The Lord bless you and keep you.”
You picture His hand resting gently on your shoulder—
A Father’s covering.
A protector.
A provider.

“The Lord make His face shine on you.”
You lift your eyes and sense His joy—
Not distant, but near.
Not critical, but gracious.

“The Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.”
He is not looking past you.
He is looking at you.
With love.
With tenderness.
With peace that quiets the storms.

Breathe in…
 Blessing.
Breathe out…
Burden.

"Father, thank You for blessing me—
not because I earned it, but because You are good."

"You are the One who keeps me—
You hold me when I feel like falling.
You protect me when I don’t even see the danger."

"Shine Your face on me today.
Let me feel the warmth of Your love.
Be gracious to me, in all the ways I fall short."

"Turn Your face toward me.
 Let me know I’m seen.
Let me feel Your peace settle every part of my soul."

Breathe in…
 Grace.
Breathe out…
Striving.

Let these truths wash over you:

"The Lord blesses me and keeps me."
"God’s face shines on me with joy."
"I am seen, I am safe, I am held."
 "His peace surrounds me."

Breathe in…
 I am blessed.
Breathe out…
I am at peace.

"Thank You, Lord, that Your blessing isn’t temporary or distant.
 It is personal. Present. Powerful."

"Thank You for keeping me, for turning Your face toward me,
for shining Your light over every dark place in my life."

"I receive Your peace now—
A peace that wraps around me like a blanket.
And I walk forward with confidence, knowing I am blessed and held by You."

Until next time, I will stay in Your presence and let hope overflow.
Selah.
