Hello, and welcome to Selah – a sacred pause in the noise of life.
I invite you to find a quiet spot, free from distractions, where you can fully focus on God’s presence.
As we move through this meditation, engage your heart and mind—visualize the scriptures, let the words take root in your soul, and repeat the prayers.

Today, we’re reflecting on Philippians 4:7:
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

There’s a peace that isn’t logical…
A peace that doesn’t come from the world or depend on your circumstances.
This peace comes only from God—and when it fills you, it protects you.
 Heart and mind.
 Emotion and thought.

Let’s begin.

Close your eyes.
 Take a deep breath in…
 Hold…
 Exhale slowly.

"Quiet my heart, Lord. Help me to be fully present with You.
I rest in the knowledge that You are here,
shaping me, molding me, and completing a good work in me."

I breathe deeply again…
As I inhale, I imagine myself walking through a fog of confusion.
 Unanswered questions surround me.
 Doubt whispers in my mind.
Anxiety tries to cling to my heart.
But suddenly, the fog begins to clear.
Not because I figured everything out…
But because I stepped into God’s presence.
I feel a stillness settle over me.
 A warmth fills my chest.
And in the middle of what doesn’t make sense—there is peace.
 I hear the words:
â€śThe peace of God… will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus.”
I look around, and it’s like I’m wrapped in a shield of light.
 My heart is covered.
 My mind is protected.
I don’t know how everything will turn out—
But I do know this: God is with me. And His peace is enough.
 I breathe in…
 God’s peace.
 I breathe out…
 Every anxious thought.

"Father, I don’t always understand…
 But I don’t need to.
You offer me something greater than answers—
 You offer me Your peace."

"Let it guard my heart today—where emotions rise and fall.
Let it guard my mind—where fears try to take root."

Breathe in…
 Stillness.
Breathe out…
Striving.

"I receive Your peace, Lord.
The kind that makes no sense to the world—
but anchors my soul in You."

Let these truths echo in your soul:

"God’s peace is guarding my heart."
"God’s peace is protecting my mind."
"I don’t have to understand everything to be at peace."
"Jesus is my peace—steady, strong, and present."

"Thank You, Lord, for Your peace—
A peace that doesn’t depend on clarity or control.
A peace that guards me, holds me, and surrounds me."

"I surrender every anxious thought to You.
And I receive Your gift of perfect peace.
 Guard me today, God.
 Heart and mind.
 In Christ Jesus."

Until next time, I will stay in Your presence and let hope overflow.
Selah.
