Today, we’re reflecting on Lamentations 3:22–23 (NIV):
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
This scripture reminds us that no matter what yesterday held, today begins with God’s mercy, His love, and His faithfulness.

Close your eyes.
Take a slow, deep breath in…
Hold…
Exhale slowly…
"Quiet my heart, Lord. Help me to be fully present with You.
I rest in the knowledge that You are here,
shaping me, molding me, and completing a good work in me."
I take another breath in…
And as I exhale, I picture the sun rising slowly over the horizon.
Darkness gives way to light,
and the sky is painted with new colors of hope.
Each sunrise is a reminder:
God’s compassions never fail.
They are new every morning.
I think back on the weight of yesterday—
the mistakes, the weariness, the struggles.
And yet here, in the freshness of the morning,
God whispers:
“Great is My faithfulness.
My love has not run dry.
My mercy is here for you again.”
I breathe in His compassion.
I breathe out my shame.
I breathe in His faithfulness.
I breathe out my doubt.
With each breath, I receive His new mercies,
gifts that meet me right where I am today.
"Father, I thank You for Your unfailing love.
Even when I feel weak or overwhelmed, Your compassion carries me."
"Thank You that each morning brings a fresh start.
Yesterday’s failures do not define me,
because Your mercy renews me."
