Hello, and welcome to Selah – a sacred pause in the noise of life.
I invite you to find a quiet spot, free from distractions, where you can fully focus on God’s presence.
As we move through this meditation, engage your heart and mind—visualize the scriptures, let the words take root in your soul, and repeat the prayers.
Today, we’re reflecting on John 14:12:
"Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father."
This verse is both a promise and a calling. Jesus assures us that belief in Him leads to a life of impact—a life filled with the power of His Spirit. We are invited not just to follow Him but to carry forward His mission in greater measure.

Take a slow, deep breath in…

"Quiet my heart, Lord. Help me to be fully present with You.
I rest in the knowledge that You are here,
shaping me, molding me, and completing a good work in me."
I picture myself standing among the disciples as Jesus speaks these words. His eyes are steady, His voice filled with authority and compassion.
He reminds us of the miracles He has performed—the blind seeing, the lame walking, the broken made whole. I feel awe rise in my heart at the thought of such works. And then, He says something unimaginable: “You will do even greater things than these.”
I look at my own hands—ordinary, unremarkable. But I sense His Spirit stirring within me, reminding me that it is not about my strength, but His power working through me.
The promise becomes personal: through faith, my life can bear fruit. I can carry His light into dark places. I can speak words that heal. I can forgive where there is hurt. I can serve where there is need.
The “greater things” are not always grand miracles—they are the daily moments where His Spirit moves through me to bring His kingdom near.
I whisper:
"Lord, let my life be a vessel for Your works. Use me to carry Your love and power into the world."
"Jesus, thank You for the promise that Your Spirit is alive in me.
Thank You for calling me into Your mission.
Forgive me for doubting what You can do through me.
Help me to walk boldly in faith,
to trust that even in my weakness, Your strength is revealed.
Use my words, my hands, and my life to bring glory to You.
Let me live as one who believes in Your promise of greater things."
