What part of today’s meditation spoke most deeply to your heart? Share your thoughts - we’d love to hear from you.

Hello, and welcome to Selah – a sacred pause in the noise of life.
I invite you to find a quiet spot, free from distractions, where you can fully focus on God’s presence.
As we move through this meditation, engage your heart and mind—visualize the scriptures, let the words take root in your soul, and repeat the prayers.

Today, we’re reflecting on Galatians 5:22–23 (NIV):
â€śBut the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

This scripture reminds us that life in the Spirit produces qualities the world cannot manufacture. These aren’t just good habits—they are the very character of Christ growing within us.

Let’s quiet our hearts now and allow His Spirit to shape us.

Close your eyes.
Take a slow, deep breath in…
 Hold…
 Exhale slowly…
"Quiet my heart, Lord. Help me to be fully present with You.
I rest in the knowledge that You are here,
shaping me, molding me, and completing a good work in me."
 Let’s Begin.

I take another breath in…
And as I exhale, I picture myself walking through a garden in full bloom.
The air is fragrant, the colors vibrant, and everywhere I look I see signs of life.

This garden is my soul—tended by the Spirit of God.
I notice the branches heavy with fruit. Each piece unique, each one a reflection of His work in me.

I see love—strong and steady.
I see joy—bright as the morning sun.
I see peace—like calm waters that cannot be shaken.
 I see patience—gentle and enduring.
I see kindness and goodness—flowing outward toward others.
 I see faithfulness—firm and unwavering.
 I see gentleness—soft yet powerful.
And I see self-control—steady hands guided by His Spirit.

As I walk among these fruits, I whisper:
â€śThank You, Lord, that Your Spirit is alive in me.
Even when I feel weak, You are producing fruit that lasts.”

I breathe in His Spirit…
 I breathe out my striving.
 I breathe in His presence…
 I breathe out my worry.

Step by step, His character is being formed in me.
Not by my effort, but by His Spirit at work within.

"Father, I thank You that Your Spirit lives within me.
I do not walk this life alone, but with Your presence guiding me."

"Grow in me the fruit that reflects Your heart.
Where there is impatience, sow patience.
Where there is harshness, plant gentleness.
Where there is fear, let peace take root."

"I surrender my weaknesses to You.
I trust You to bring forth good fruit that blesses others
 and glorifies Your name."

I breathe in Your Spirit…
 I breathe out my pride.
 I breathe in Your love…
 I breathe out my fear.

Let’s take another deep breath in…
 Hold…
 Exhale slowly…

Speak these truths over your soul:
"The Spirit of God lives in me."
"His fruit is growing in my life."
"I walk in love, joy, and peace."
"I bear fruit that glorifies Him."

Breathe in…
 Peace.
 Breathe out…
 Anxiety.

"Thank You, Lord, for the gift of Your Spirit.
Thank You that I do not have to produce fruit on my own.
You are the Gardener of my soul.
You are faithful to bring forth love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Help me to walk in step with Your Spirit today.
And may the fruit of my life be a blessing to others
and a reflection of Your heart."

Until next time, I will stay in Your presence and let hope overflow.
 Selah.
