🌿 I Will Not Be Shaken | Psalm 62:1–2 Christian Meditation
Guided Meditation & Scripture Reflection on Rest and Stability in God

In this 10-minute guided Christian meditation, we reflect on Psalm 62:1–2 (NIV):
“Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.”

This psalm reminds us that true rest is not found in circumstances settling down, but in standing on the unshakable foundation of God Himself. When life feels uncertain or pressure surrounds us, God remains steady, secure, and near. Through scripture reflection, breathwork, story-based visualization, prayer, affirmations, and silence, this episode invites you to release tension and rest in God as your rock and refuge.

🕊️ This episode is perfect for those seeking:
âś… Rest for a weary or restless soul
âś… Stability in seasons of uncertainty or pressure
âś… Peace that is not dependent on circumstances
âś… A reminder that God is steady when life feels shaky

Hello, and welcome to Selah – a sacred pause in the noise of life.

I invite you to find a quiet spot, free from distractions, where you can fully focus on God’s presence.
As we move through this meditation, engage your heart and mind—visualize the scriptures, let the words take root in your soul, and repeat the prayers.

Today, we’re reflecting on Proverbs 14:12:
â€śThere is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.”

Not every path that feels right is the path of life. Sometimes what looks appealing, logical, or easy can lead us far from God. But His Word, His Spirit, and His wisdom guide us toward life, truth, and peace.
Let’s quiet our hearts and surrender our ways to His.

Lets begin.

Close your eyes.
Take a slow, deep breath in…
 Hold…
 Exhale slowly…

"Quiet my heart, Lord. Help me to be fully present with You.
I rest in the knowledge that You are here,
shaping me, molding me, and completing a good work in me."

I take another breath in…
And as I exhale, I picture myself standing at a crossroads.
One path looks wide and smooth, lined with appealing distractions.
The other is narrow and steady, though less glamorous.

At first glance, the wide road seems easier.
But deep within, I sense that it is empty and dangerous.
The Spirit gently draws me to the narrow path —
the path of obedience, wisdom, and life.

“There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.”

I whisper the words:
 â€śGuide me, Lord.”

Because my own understanding is limited.
My own desires can deceive me.
But God’s way leads to life everlasting.

Breathe in…
God’s wisdom is greater than mine.
 Breathe out…
 I release my false paths.

"Father, I confess that too often I trust my own instincts over Your wisdom.
I lean on what feels right instead of what is true.
Forgive me when I choose comfort over obedience."

"Lead me away from the paths that end in destruction.
Keep my feet steady on the way of life.
Help me to trust that even when Your path feels narrow,
it is the only way that brings peace, joy, and eternal hope."

I breathe in truth…
 I breathe out deception.
 I breathe in Your guidance…
 I breathe out my pride.

Let’s take another deep breath in…
 Hold…
 Exhale slowly…
Speak these truths over your soul:

"God’s way leads to life."
"My steps are guided by His wisdom."
"I will not rely on my own understanding."
"I choose the narrow path that leads to peace."

Breathe in…
 God’s truth.
 Breathe out…
 My illusions.

Breathe in…
 Life.
 Breathe out…
 Death.

"Thank You, Lord, for revealing the truth in Your Word.
Thank You for protecting me from the ways that seem right but lead to harm.
I surrender my plans, my instincts, and my choices to You.
 Keep me walking in wisdom,
 Rooted in truth,
And steadfast on the path that leads to life."

Lord, I stay here with You.
 In the quiet, I listen.
 In the stillness, I rest.

Until next time, I will stay in Your presence and let hope overflow.
 Selah.
