We started with sports, strength coaching, and why the best athletes aren’t always the stars. Katie Guillory shares what competing at LSU taught her about failure, emotional regulation, and learning to find value in adversity instead of running from it.

Then the conversation gets much more personal. After years of injuries and surgeries, Katie lost the lower half of her leg in a jet ski accident. We talk about what it means to keep showing up, adapt when your body changes, and take care of yourself without letting setbacks become excuses.

Now she’s coaching Division I athletes, navigating life as an amputee, and pursuing a Paralympic dream. When life changes everything without asking, how do we process it, accept it, and keep moving?
