God Forgive Me Podcast
Two Muslims from rural Mid-Missouri discuss our faith and how it fits and sometimes doesn't in Middle America. We are aiming to show the middle of America what Islam is about so we can build bridges and get people to not judge us on what the media says. We will bring up how we both got to Islam and what we time about current things happening in the world.
God Forgive Me Podcast
Viewing the world through an American working class Muslim's eyes.
In this talk, Mahi and I discuss what is Islam, what are the basic things all Muslims must do, and we talk about how we view the world through the lenses of Islam. We talk about the five pillars of Islam and why we do things like fast during Ramadan and why we pray the way we do. We cover where Muslim mandatory charity goes to and dispel the negative view of what jizya is. We talk about how accepting and easy Islam is and historical context to show how Muslims have lived and do live in peace throughout the world. We condemn crimes that clearly go against Islamic teachings that are done by what are perceived to be Muslims and set the stage for our next chat that will be about the first sin, Adam and Eve, and the idea of original sin.
