God will go to war against Riba/Usury and the West drunkenly bathes in it.
In this episode, Mahi and I talk about Riba which is the Arabic word for usury. Usury is the practice of lending on interest. In the last revealed verses of the Quran, God states He will go to war against the usurer (Quran 2:278-279). This is the only sin in Islam where God states that He will go to war against you for doing it. We talk about the several different types of Riba, or situations where you could be involed in Riba and not know it, and how to hard it is in the West to stay away from Usury. We end the podcast with Mahi mentioning a good book to read about Usury: John Perkins | Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, 3rd Edition and setting up that in the next few episodes we will talk about the Natural Way of Living Life (Fitna) and dipping our toes into concepts of Sharia Law.
