Major League Baseball Finally Caves In On Pete Rose
Our Long National Nightmare is finally over.
Major League Baseball announced on Tuesday that Pete Rose, MLB's all-time hit leader will now be eligible for induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
Along with Rose are the eight members of the 1919 Chicago "Black" Sox including "Shoeless" Joe Jackson who, along with seven of his teammates were found guilty of fixing the outcome of the World Series that year.
The voting on Rose, Jackson, and the others won't happen until December 2027, with possible induction coming in the summer of 2028.
Also on tap this week - following a horrible injury to Jason Tatum, the Knicks appear poised to eliminate the Boston Celtics, and the Mets and Yankees head to the Bronx for a 3-game series with Juan Soto in the spotlight.
And to wrap things up, we talk about Wolfgang Van Halen's incredible performance with his band Mammoth this past Sunday at Debonair Music Hall in Teaneck.
