The Year-End Road Trip Edition of the Two-Minute Drill

For this final episode of year, Jim Monaghan and Chris Swendeman went on separate road trips to watch their favorite teams play, and the results were WILDLY different.

Chris Swendeman journeyed to Buffalo to watch his recently-appointed favorite team the Bills take on the Eagles.   Through a driving rainstorm, he watched a pretty exciting game, even if the hometown Bills came out on the losing end.

As Chris points out, the Eagles fans in attendance (and there were a lot more than you might expect who made the trip to upstate New York) were remarkably well-behaved.  Although if you listened to Philadelphia sports talk radio after the game you would have thought the Iggles actually lost.

Jim Monaghan didn't have to travel quite as far to see the New England Patriots.  They were at MetLife Stadium taking on the New York Jets in what ultimately was a blowout win for New England.  And judging by the amount of navy blue and red in the stadium, this had all the feels of a home game in Foxborough MA.
