Before the Clouds Break | Restoring Warriors Daily Devotional | Matthew 24:30

Jesus makes it clear in Matthew 24:30—His return will be undeniable. Not quiet. Not hidden. He will come on the clouds with power and great glory, and the whole world will see Him.
And Scripture says many will mourn—not because He isn’t King, but because they waited too long to surrender.
That reality should wake us up.
We train, build, and protect—but are we urgent about eternity? Right now, there is still a window of grace. A moment where repentance is possible. A time where conversations about Jesus still matter.
But that window won’t stay open forever.
We don’t know the day—so we live like it could be today.
Don’t wait. Don’t stay silent.
One day, the mission will end—and judgment will begin.
Big Question:
If Jesus returned this week, who would you wish you had told about Him?
Challenge:
Have one intentional spiritual conversation this week. Pray before it, be bold in it, and trust God with the outcome.
Prayer:
Lord, remind me that time is short and eternity is real. Give me boldness to speak Your name and courage to live on mission. Use my life to reach others before it’s too late. Amen.

Hey, we're in the book of Matthew right now. We're in chapter 24, verse 30. Hey, before we get going, make sure you hit the subscribe button so you don't miss a day. All right, Matthew 24, verse 30. It says this, then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven, and then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. All right, so Jesus, he doesn't describe his return as subtle, he describes it as undeniable. It's gonna be visible, it's gonna be global. Everybody's gonna be able to see it and it will be final. All right, and when he comes on the clouds, it won't be debated, it won't, it won't be hidden. It will be power and it'll be glory. And scripture says that a lot of people, many, will mourn. And they're not gonna mourn because he isn't king, it's because they waited too long to bow, and that should wreck us today. All right, so as men who claim Christ, we can't live casually about eternity. We we train hard, right? We we build businesses, we protect our families, but are we really acting that urgently about our own souls? Right? There's there's a window of grace right now, there's a season happening right now in this moment where repentance is available, of a moment where conversations still matter. When Christ returns in glory, the time for decision closes and the mission becomes judgment. We don't know the day, and that's the point. So we have to live like it could be today. So go out and spread the gospel like there's no tomorrow, because one day there won't be. All right, pull out your journals, we're gonna do a reflection question. Take like five or ten minutes here and really invite the Holy Spirit in and see what comes up here. All right, reflection question is this if Jesus returned this week, who in your life would you wish you had spoken to about him? All right, and here's your daily challenge is to have one intentional spiritual conversation this week. All right, and pray before it, be bold on it, and trust God with the outcome. All right, finally, let's pray. Lord, remind me that eternity is real and it and time is short. Lord, give me courage to speak your name without fear. Father, break my comfort if it keeps me silent and use my life to point others to you before the clouds break. It's in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Hey, thank you for tuning in today.
