In Matthew 25:35–36, Jesus flips how we think about impact:

Your life is the mission field.

Most men think they need a platform to serve God—
 a title, a stage, a “right time.”

But Jesus points to something simpler:
 Feeding the hungry.
 Welcoming the stranger.
 Showing up for the hurting.

Not big moments—everyday ones.

The mission isn’t somewhere else.
It’s your home. Your job. Your gym. Your circle.

Impact doesn’t start when life slows down—
it starts when you take responsibility where you stand.

Because real ministry isn’t about recognition—
 it’s about obedience.

Big Question:
Where in your daily life are you overlooking an opportunity to serve?

Challenge:
Find one person today—coworker, family member, friend—and serve them intentionally without being asked.

Prayer:
Lord, open my eyes to the mission in front of me. Teach me to serve, lead, and love through everyday actions. Amen.

But Jesus makes it clear that Kingdom Surface happens in all of the ordinary moments. Hey, welcome back to the Restoring Warriors Daily Devotional where we challenge men every day to step into their calling that God has placed on their hearts. Hey, right now we're expanding. Okay, we are adding uh men's groups in men's living rooms all over the country, and we're also building a powerful online community. So if you're a man and if you've ever felt the calling to lead a small group and just need a little nudge, maybe need some curriculum, we've got you covered. Go to restoring warriors.com, click on lead a group, and we will direct you from there. All right, we're jumping back in. We're in Matthew 25 today, and we're ver verses 35 and 36, where Jesus says this for I was hungry and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger and you invited me in. I needed clothes and you clothed me. I was sick and you look after me. I was in prison and you came to visit me. All right, so a lot of men we believe that we need a title, we need a microphone, or we need a ministry position to be able to serve in God's kingdom. We start to think that impact can only happen or that it can only start when we're really ready or when life starts to slow down. But but Jesus makes it clear that Kingdom Surface that happens in all of the ordinary moments. Okay, feeding somebody, welcoming somebody in, showing up for somebody who's hurting. All right, the mission field, it's not somewhere out there. It's not in these big buildings. No, it's already around you. It's your home, it's your job, it's your gym, it's your neighborhood, your brotherhood. Every day presents opportunities for us to lead, for us to serve, and for us to reflect Christ without fanfare or recognition. Right? The man who lives on mission doesn't wait for permission to step up and lead or do things just to get applause from anybody else. No, he takes responsibility right where he stands. Okay, you don't need a platform to make a difference. You you just need to have obedience with those small, everyday, ordinary things because that is where true ministry really begins. All right, now pull out your journals, man. We're gonna take a couple minutes, take five or ten minutes and go through this reflection question. See what comes up for you, see if anything uh is convicting you here. Where in your daily routine is God already giving you an opportunity to serve that you might be overlooking? And here's a daily challenge for you. Identify one person in your immediate environment today, co-worker, family member, neighbor, a brother, and take one intentional step to serve them without being asked. Finally, let's pray. Lord, open my eyes to all the opportunities that I have right in front of me. Lord, help me stop waiting for the perfect moment and to start serving right where I stand. Lord, teach me to lead through action, to love through third, through service, and to lead a mission in my life every single day. It's in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Amen. Thank you so much for tuning in today. If you were encouraged by this devotional, then I encourage you to send it off to a friend.
