So they went and then something incredible happened along the way. Jesus met them. Alright, welcome back to the Restoring Warriors Daily Devotional, where every day we challenge men to boldly pursue the calling that God has placed on their lives. Alright, we're jumping back in. We're in the book of Matthew, chapter 28. We're gonna look at verse 9 today. But before we do that, I want you to go to the comments right now and tell us which book of the Bible we should do next. We're gonna be finishing the book in Matthew about midway through next week. So we need to jump on it, fellas. I'd love to see uh where your heart's at, and then who knows, maybe yours will win. All right, let's jump in. Verse number nine. Suddenly Jesus met them. Greetings, he said. They came to him, clasped his feet, and worshipped him. Alright, so so the women, they had just been told that Jesus has risen, and they were told, hey, go tell all the other disciples. So they went and then something incredible happened along the way. Jesus met them. Alright, and he didn't meet them while they were sitting at the tomb waiting. No, he met them when they were on their way. They were given an instruction and they said, Yes, they moved, and Jesus met them while they were acting in obedience. And men, some of us are stagnant right now. We're sitting and we're holding and we're waiting for God to give us one more sign, to give one more opportunity, another confirmation that we're headed in the right direction, another burst of motivation. But think about this for a minute. What if God's already given you enough to actually take that next step? Like He's already given it to you. All right, you know that you need to lead your family, so move. You know you need to forgive somebody. Move. You know you need to get sober. Move. You know you need to quit visiting those websites. Move. You know you need to get back into your Bible every single day. Move in that direction. You know that you need to confess something that you've kept in the dark, something that's hidden. Move. Stop asking God to reveal step 10 when you haven't even taken step one. The women, they didn't know everything that was about to happen. They simply obeyed what God had put in front of them and they encountered Jesus along the way. Alright, sometimes clarity doesn't produce movement, but movement produces clarity. Alright, so I want to hit you with a challenge today, a daily challenge based on this devotional. I want you to identify one area in your life where you've become stagnant, where you where you failed to move. Then I want you to take one measurable action step today. Something moving forward in the direction of the area where you know you're supposed to go. Make a phone call, all right, have a conversation, sign up, confess something, cancel something, start something, show up, just move. Alright, let's pray. Heavenly Father, Father, forgive me for the places where I've just Father, forgive me for the places where I've disguised hesitation as waiting on you. Lord, and give me the courage to obey what you've already shown me. Father, I don't need to see the entire road. I just need the faith to take one next step. Father, pull me out of complacency and make me a man who moves when you make the call. I trust that as I'm walking in obedience, Lord, you're gonna meet me along the way. It's in Jesus' name we pray.
