Our Podcast focuses on the number two songs from the twentieth century. No number one songs. Although some charts do not always agree with each other there can be exceptions - for example, The CCR never had a single release in the USA that reached the top of any chart, whereas the CCR in Canada most assuredly DID reach the top with a few of their releases. The bottom line is that we are playing songs that we remember and like alot. The premise is however that for the most part they missed the centre of the target as far as sales and chart recognition. The Creedence Clearwater Revival and Green River got us underway and directly after them is Steppenwolf with Rock me. The Year is 1967 for a song by Barry Allen entitled Lovedrops. Next is a group called Crazy Elephant with a song called Gimme Gimme Some lovin'. The New Colony SIx recorded the next song called Things I'd like to say.
