Enjoy your summer! See you in the fall.
go to weddings, go to weddings do our jobs, get ready for weddings, eat some chicken breasts over. Hi Alex, Hi Rennie. So this is our 20th episode. It feels really good. It feels great. Yeah, we've been here. We've been here.
Speaker 2:Yes, we have. We've brought you such gems such as how to run your business like a drug dealer.
Speaker 1:Remember that one gems such as how to run your business like a drug dealer. Remember that one.
Speaker 2:Let's talk about your, the favorite episode that we recorded this season let's see, I think my favorite I'm just like looking through them here now I think my favorite was the one where we talked about not charging your worth that was also a lot of people's favorite, a lot of people's favorites if you haven't listened to it yet you should go find it you should pricing part one. Don't charge your worth. It's from february. Um, that was a good one.
Speaker 1:We got a lot of cool ones I'm looking to see what my favorite one was. Yeah, I really like. I really like the ones about yeah, I really like the ones about tech. I think I really like the ones about systems. We got systems, not problems.
Speaker 2:Systems, not problems. I like the ones about strategy. We were talking about how to optimize and do cooler things. Yeah, take less time. Yeah, doing better work yeah, that seems about right for us. We're time. Yeah, doing better work, yeah, so that seems about right for us. We're the tech.
Speaker 1:On the strategy, yeah, that does check. So if you're listening now, hopefully you've been along for this season. This has been spring 2025. This was our launch season, so our first ever. I'm really proud of us. I am, too. I think that we did a. We really, we really did a podcast series. We really did Season, and what will we be coming back with in the fall? What can people expect? Probably more strategy and more tech. Probably more strategy and more tech. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No one else. We're pretty.
Speaker 2:But yeah, this was cool. We are gearing up for a big, busy wedding season.
Speaker 1:Yes, we are.
Speaker 2:Both of us. So we're like you know what. Maybe it's time just to take a break and let ourselves edit. When we're not edit, sit in a hammock.
Speaker 1:Yeah, now we got to do what we've been talking about all spring, that we do, which is just go to weddings, go to weddings. Do our jobs, get ready for weddings, eat some chicken breasts over the sink.
Speaker 2:I have been doing that a lot lately. Okay, quick tip for wedding season, if you're in canada and you have like the pc app or whatever, um, I made a list of groceries that I want to buy every week and now every week I just hit order and I go pick them up. And it is rotisserie chicken, it is hummus, baby bell cheeses, some straw, like everything you'd feed a toddler, basically straight out of the package.
Speaker 2:You're gonna leave our listeners with a bad grocery list no, it's a practical one, because when you're getting ready for a wedding, you don't want to do cook and I don't want to do cook and I don't want to have to, like, do anything. I want to be able to eat a chicken breast and three strawberries and a baby bell cheese over the sink.
Speaker 1:Also those little almond packs you put in your pocket.
Speaker 2:Yeah, same In my mouth.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I asked you if we had chips the other day and you said no. But we have salted almonds Like come on.
Speaker 2:Almond partner.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so we are leaving you with this sad grocery list. I think it's a great grocery list. And 20 episodes, so that's pretty good. If you want to spend the summer going back through and listening to any you may have missed, or re-listening to any that you really liked, that would be great and you can just enjoy hanging out with us all summer. But we will be taking a break.
Speaker 2:We will be at a wedding.
Speaker 1:While you're listening, we will be at a wedding. Yeah, our wedding demands have called upon us now.
Speaker 2:Yeah, if you want to picture me while you are listening, you can picture me standing with 10 bridesmaids going oh my God, you all look gorgeous right now, and I'm telling the truth every single time.
Speaker 1:And if you want to picture me, you can picture me at the front Wearing cowboy boots. Yes, I do wear cowboy boots. That's super not important though, they're just. They give me a little bit of height and a whole lot of confidence. To quote our friend Robert you don't worry about my boots, you don't worry about them, you don't worry about my boots.
Speaker 2:They look great on you, by the way. Thank you, yeah, do you have any advice to our listeners for the summer?
Speaker 1:You don't want your lawn to get too long. That's how a lot of the weed seeds spread. That's a great piece of advice. Thank you.
Speaker 2:That and your grocery list. I was going to say my advice is keep a rotisserie chicken in your fridge at all times. You will thank me later.
Speaker 1:Keep your gas tank at least half full, because if you're on your way to a wedding, I bet you don't have enough time to gas up and be on time, god. Ain't that the truth? Ain't that the truth?
Speaker 2:Ain't that the way?
Speaker 1:Fix your AC if it's broken. Now's the time.
Speaker 2:That's my advice. The time was actually two months ago for that. It's too late now.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah, is that all your advice? That's it. Enjoy your summer, enjoy your summer we will be back.
Speaker 2:See you in the fall.
Speaker 1:Yeah, can't wait one last time, do together. Oh, one, two, three you.
