Episode twelve- Dr. Jespersen
📢 Meet Dr. Taylor Jespersen, CCFP – Family Physician and super mom💙
Born and raised in beautiful Vernon, Dr. Jespersen took her passion for medicine all the way to Ireland, studying at the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons. After completing her rural family medicine training through UBC in Kelowna, she set down roots and built a fulfilling career in family medicine.
For nearly two years, she’s had the privilege of caring for her community in a busy family practice—while also working as a hospitalist and OR assist. 👩⚕️💉
Beyond medicine, her life is filled with love and adventure! She married her high school sweetheart and is growing her beautiful family (one kiddo earthside, one on the way! 💕👶). When she’s not in the clinic or hospital, you’ll find her embracing the outdoors, hitting the trails with her family, or diving into a great book with her book club. 📚🌿
Dr. Jespersen is passionate about making healthcare approachable, supportive, and empowering. In her recent interview, she discusses why individualized, targeted care is more effective than routine physicals—highlighting the risks of over-testing and the importance of the right care, not just more care. ✅
