Episode Twenty-Six- Dr. Larsen
🩺 Inspiring the Next Generation of Physicians ✨
Meet Dr. Larsen, a dedicated educator, compassionate physician, and leader in medical training. For over a decade, she has shaped future doctors as Site Director of the Vernon Integrated Community Clerkship at UBC’s Faculty of Medicine, giving students the hands-on experience they need to thrive. 🌟
Her work extends beyond the classroom—at Vernon Jubilee Hospital, she provides expert care in end-of-life and surgical medicine, serving patients with empathy and skill.
With degrees from McGill, UBC, Dalhousie, and the University of Alberta, Dr. Larsen’s journey is one of passion, excellence, and lifelong learning. When she’s not mentoring future doctors, she’s embracing life through gardening, travel, tennis, and time with loved ones. 🌿✈️🎾
Her mission? To shape the future of medicine, one student, one patient, and one lesson at a time. 💙
