Who Gave You This Authority?

We need to ask when others are teaching, is this from God, and His word, or from man?

We need to ask when we are teaching, am I submitted to the Authority of God, and His word? Or am I submitted to the opinions of of men? Are we more scared of offending someone with truth, than we are scared of offending the God who is Truth? We must not limit the word of God to salvation, but let it touch every area of our lives, and submit our hearts to what it says. This authority God has given us in His word, to teach forgiveness of sins in His name; the world didn’t give it, and the world can’t take it away!
