The oldest trope is to somehow journey into the past and give our younger self advice that we could then presumably use to make our future life better -- begging the question of whose life we're talking about: theirs? ours? in that universe? or our own? Ignoring the time travel paradox, I indulge this trite technique to tell a story of one wild and crazy evening in high school, and the morning after when I decide to join in after all those years...
