Let's Have a Powwow
LHAP is centered around the Urban Indigenous experience in NYC. We will talk about guests Homelands and How and Why they came to the big city. We will also cover culture and fashion as it is a big part of the Podcast Hosts' life. Being a fat, brown woman working in Fashion for over 20 years I've heard it all! Let's Have a Powwow is inspired by those cringe moments we've had in professional settings where someone has suggested "having a powwow" to discuss work stuff. We are reclaiming the word! So join in and enjoy indigenous excellence. Don't worry, everyone is invited, we will also feature some of my favorite Allies!

Elena Soledad
This week I speak with Elena, AKA, Brooklyn Warmi. Elena is a model, mother, jewelry designer, and adoptee. Her story is complex and beautiful. Just the way we like it. I wanted to know how she got from Peru to Brooklyn and she graciously shared her adoption story with us. We talk about being BBW's who workout to feel good! This episode is giving BIG LIBRA energy so you've been warned! Although, everyone loves a Libra! Enjoy the Episode!
