Let's Have a Powwow
LHAP is centered around the Urban Indigenous experience in NYC. We will talk about guests Homelands and How and Why they came to the big city. We will also cover culture and fashion as it is a big part of the Podcast Hosts' life. Being a fat, brown woman working in Fashion for over 20 years I've heard it all! Let's Have a Powwow is inspired by those cringe moments we've had in professional settings where someone has suggested "having a powwow" to discuss work stuff. We are reclaiming the word! So join in and enjoy indigenous excellence. Don't worry, everyone is invited, we will also feature some of my favorite Allies!

Relative Arts w/ Liana Shewey and Korina Emmerich Pt. 2
Ha.Wa! Welcome back, get ready to dive into the second part of my chat with The Relative Arts Icons! We talk about our hopes and dreams of having native therapists and doctors in the near future! The ladies discuss their Oscar’s trip, Curating the creativity lab at the MOMA, and Emme Studio, Korina’s line will be showing May 11th at Native Fashion Week in Santa Fe! They share their dreams of expanding relative arts beyond New York City. We finish the episode with my first listener letter…ok it was a text but still, one of our gentle readers asked what I thought of the Pretendian List…We weigh in on all y’alls Cherokee Princess Grandma’s. Spoiler alert! It’s cringe so please stop with that nonsense. Visit Relative Arts when you are in the City. You won’t be disappointed! Enjoy part 2, See you soon Cuzzins
