This week’s episode of Own Your Piece is a little different, and honestly, one of the most vulnerable things I’ve shared in a long time. Instead of teaching or interviewing a guest, I felt called to open my heart and let you behind the curtain of what’s really been unfolding in my life this past year.

I talk about the deep hypnotherapy work I’ve been doing, the waves of grief as I approach the anniversary of my dad’s passing, and the bittersweet emotions of watching my oldest move out of state. I also open up about childhood wounds, friendship heartbreaks, and what it really means to reclaim who you are.

Takeaways

  • This year has been a full burn-down-and-rebuild season.
  • I wish I had held my time with my dad even closer.
  • I’m giving myself space to put down anything that doesn’t feel aligned.
  • It’s safe to be who I am and shine bright.
  • “We make good bread,” and owning that feels powerful.
  • Grief is layered, nonlinear, and deeply human.
  • Hypnotherapy has been transformative and eye-opening.
  • Childhood wounds can echo into adulthood, especially in friendships.
  • Honoring your energy is a form of self-love.
  • Community and support matter so much on the healing journey.

If you identify as a sensitive soul, a spiritual weirdo, or a bright light who’s always felt “too much”… this episode is for you.

You belong here.
You always have a seat at my table.
