Cairngorm Plateau Disaster

November 1971 a group of school kids and two instructors made their way from Edinburgh to the Cairngorms for a simple climbing expedition. What started out as a routine hike quickly turned into their worst nightmares. The group split into two and out of the 8 members of the second group only 2 were rescued alive.
