Fairy Tea
Fairy Tea is a deeply personal podcast where I share the raw, honest messiness of life—exploring how to break free from societal expectations and follow the heart’s calling. Blending storytelling, spirituality, folklore, and self-discovery, Fairy Tea is both magical and real, whimsical yet grounded. It’s a space to embrace uncertainty, face challenges without fear, and stay curious about the possibilities ahead. Through my own experiences, I invite listeners to see that a new way of living is possible—one that is intuitive, soulful, and uniquely their own.

Welcome to Fairy Tea, where we sip on the thorough wisdom of the fairy realm and uncover its ancient secrets for healing, pleasure and rest. I'm your host, Sophie, here to sprinkle a little enchantment into your everyday life. Think of this as one great, unfolding experiment, an invitation to dance with magic, trust the unseen and let curiosity lead the way. Something cracked in me quietly, not all at once, but in slow, quiet ways. I just kept wondering if this is really all there is. And since you found your way here, maybe some part of you already believes that life can be lived differently. I created this podcast because I really needed a place to make sense of things that I feel, a space to follow what moves me. So today I'm going to tell you why this podcast exists and a little bit on who I am and what I believe in. I'm Soph, your fairy godmother, and I am an extremely dramatic person. And I am an extremely dramatic person. I feel deeply and I express myself that way too. I'm also quiet, introspective, the kind of person that zooms out, who wants to understand things from every angle, and that sense of combining opposites that confused me for a long time. It took time to understand that those nuances actually make for who I am. I'm the girl who pulls oracle cards and also plays Uno, and today this is where I talk from. But let me tell you how I got here first.

Learning to listen to my heart hasn't come easy to me. It's a constant practice. Sometimes I succeed at it and sometimes I overthink everything. I have a huge heart, a sensitive, open, expansive heart, and I've always felt that I came here not just to live life but to support others, to hold space, to remind people of what's possible when we soften, I want to build something meaningful, something big even, but I can only do that when I'm nourished, when I'm rooted. Most of us know that the way we've been living isn't sustainable. We feel it in our bodies, in our minds. Every day. We complain, we say we want to rest more, live slower, honor our bodies, but we just don't know how. And that's kind of the tension. I'm constantly navigating how to create something big while still honoring my need for softness, for rest.

I don't believe in exploitation of others or myself. I don't believe success should come from stepping on someone else's back. I wholeheartedly believe in win-wins, in creativity that nourishes everyone involved. And if I can't build something that feels good for me and for the people I touch with it, then I don't want it. So what I came to believe today is that magic isn't something outside of us. It's woven into the way we move, connect, cry, create, fall apart and begin again. We are here to live lives that don't always make sense on the outside, but feel true on the inside.

And this is where I'm speaking from. Not a final destination, just a living, unfolding path. So ferity is for the quiet rebels, the tender-hearted ones, the in-betweeners. It's for anyone who has ever longed for something more more real, more soft, more alive. Fairy Tea, in a way, is my journal, my offering, my myth in motion. And now I'm here, speaking it out loud, speaking it to life.

So this season I'll be telling stories. Stories about how an inheritance changed my relationship to money, about what love has taught me, about mystery, longing and surrender, and about how a city I didn't even plan to visit became my home. Those are stories from the middle, before the answers come, because fairy tea won't give you life hacks, but it might give you something softer, a reminder that the most magical lives are often the messiest ones. And from here I'll take you deeper, story by story cup by cup. If this episode stirred something in you, I'd love to hear about it. Send me a little whisper on Instagram, at fairyte tpodcast, or just write the words fairy wings in my dms. That's how I'll know you were here.
